- In this video I use @GorillaGlueCompany spray adhesive against a large bald face hornet nest. The spray adhesive works great at sticking the swarming hornets against the nest as they attack. Gorilla glue is deff one of the best products I’ve used this season and was super happy with the results. I have watched a few of Hornet Kings vids as well and they are ok, he’s welcome to do it however the hell he wants to, I’m not judging… Each to his own or whatever…
But I gotta say in the end that the Wasp Hunter is definitely way more my personal style.💥🥊 Him happily singing the Rocky theme song was the icing on the cake 🎂 damn I love that movie series and this guy kicks ass! I’m a maintenance manager / worker in 4 apartment buildings where I live 🇨🇦 and I have to get rid of the odd nest here and there on peoples balconies , they always seem to wait or don’t even notice until they are fairly big ( 2 times in the last week ). Definitely going to give the Gorilla 🦍 glue treatment a go myself in the future as the swarming part is that part of it that worries me the most… I Do not like getting stung!
Do I have to even mention that I will also be doing the Rocky 🥊 theme song while I do it , it just feels so right !🤣

Spray glue is awesome. We had a dumpster out back that always got wasp nests. Next one up was always sprayed in place. Wasps and all.

I got stung on the lip throwing a bag of garbage into a dumpster. Ducker was quick. That one hurt.
I saw one of these videos where a bleeding heart woman was complaining about the inhumanity of torturing these insects. Crazy world.
She's obviously never had the pleasure of getting into a nest. I was 5 and my dog and I were horsing around and got swarmed. To this day I will show no mercy!

The last ground wasp nest I came across I used my brush/weed torch on it. Took care of them in just a few minutes. You could hear the larva popping from the heat.
I wish I could do that stuff sadly most of my customers are cool but not that cool lol

Dude is a superhero. Who of us could fight that nest? I'm from Philadelphia, so the Rocky hum was cool. That one wasp whose stinger was pulled out - that's dedication to cause.
You gotta give them credit really because I pick the roots of the bush whatever to build a nest which makes it more difficult for you to get it out so clever

Push mowers really seem to make the entire colony come out all at once to "greet you with an immediate eviction notice".... Happened to me mowing some disabled guys lawn...
@@StealthMapper I was shooting one day with my brother he was about 5 ft to the right of me he fired his gun and those yellow jackets came up out of the ground at his feet in one massive mob.
I think 10 to 15 minutes later hw was still being stung. They was all in his hair and all over and in his close !

Best thing I always use is Johnson and Johnson scrubbing bubbles, you can knock ‘em right out of the air while flying, and it also masks you, they can’t find you to swarm u. Just spray in air around you they can’t fly through it. It also dries clean! No residue. You should do a video with it! I’d watch it. Tip - get the spray can, it gives a continuous spray- not the trigger sprayer! You just want to hold it down not pump like a maniac!

I made a near fatal mistake of caving in the entryway to an underground yellow jacket nest without realizing they had built 4-5 other entry points to their hive. I never made that mistake again. Be careful man.

Where I used to work Hornets lived inside the hand railings. The hand railings were made from old pipes which were extremely strong but where the pipes joined there was always holes over the Hornets could come and go. I heard a complaint from one of the guys that his hand got stung. So what I did is I waited until it was dark out and sprayed WD-40 in all the holes. That stuff stinks the Hornets don't like the smell. The ones inside couldn't come out and the ones outside couldn't go back in. The Nest was so large that at night quite a few the Hornets would sleep nearby but not inside the nest. When they saw the disturbance they went over to help defend the nest but they couldn't because of the WD-40.

I’ve heard of this chalk made up of microorganism fossils that cuts up the exoskeleton of insects, so perhaps it’s related to that.
I could have sworn I heard him say, “spray some duster”…..and wasn’t sure if he meant the computer cleaner.
that chalk you're talking about is diatomaceous earth. This is probably something like delta dust, which is a pyrethroid insecticide powder.
I missed your videos. I'm glad to see you back. Do you think you can use spray foam next time on a wasp nest?

what was the stuff you pumped in the hole first? and the dust? Sevin dust?? I have these guys going into a brick wall on the side of my house. Do you think your method will still work? obviously, I cant get into the wall to dig out the nest, so any suggestions on how to deal with them would be welcomed. Thanks

Yellow jackets were my mortal enemy as a child. I have been stung so much by them that now I'm used to it.
Customers always ask if I get stung ever. I’m always like yeah a few dozen times a summer lol you do get used to it.

I have used it several times it works amazing instant kill. I’m a full time mechanic so I always have some auto sprays in the truck
i used brake-kleen on a yeller jacket nest before and it was instantaneous death... but i like the way the glue just keeps on working.. nice!! :)

Yellow jackets are actually the common name of a particular type of wasp. Wasps from the Vespula and Dolichovespula genera are called yellow jackets in the US. Yellow jacket species are smaller than other wasps but more aggressive. No one calls them in ground wasps hahahaha for 34 years of my life there yellow jackets I've never heard of them being called in ground wasps hahaha but out of every kind of bee I HATE them the most... real wasps that look like the typical wasps long skinny body that makes the paper nests usually on wood especially under forts and desks aren't that mean from what I've ever experienced.

Liquid dish washing soap does a fantastic job and doesn't cost much
I don't think it works as well some other products might. Some of the wasps are getting stuck, but there are still a lot who are escaping. I'm thinking something like spray foam would be better. Basically, anything that would fill the space and trap them in it. Although the nest location makes things especially difficult. So, it might not be the best test of he technique.
You are not wrong. Spray foam works the best by far if you check my other videos out I’ve already got 3 live spray foam videos. I do one every summer
