I was on the fence about this knife for many years. Then I bought one. A year later I had three. TOPS has a manual that comes with the Trackers they sell.
Thanks for the vid. Couple corrections, the saw is really meant for notching traps, i.e. fig 4, etc… and the knife used in The Hunted, was made by Dave Beck. It was his take on TB’s design. Dave Beck set the bar for the “Tracker” design. cheers!
Very informative thanks. A bit like a smaller version of a Kukhri House Survival Kukhri I own. Only thing is the saw looks highly dubious. I realise its a back up / multi role but I would be interested in hearing anyones experience with the saw. Thanks for sharing Dave
Notching saw is not a crosscut saw. Notches for traps fire boards and hanging rope or cordage on a slick bark tree. Notching saws are also used to score bone to make a clean break. Tom Brown was a trapper/tracker. The entire knife is a trackers tool. Hence the name. V notches and square notches. Not made to saw cut clear through the material.
I'm sorry sir, but William Collins does a better job at survival and bushcraft knives for those of us in Alaska. Look at what's available or pre-order at Great Northern Knives in Wasilla.
This knife looks like something from Who Ville over by Goober Town. Give me a straight blade thanks. You know something thats been around for THOUSANDS OF YEARS !
One of the best breakdowns/explanations of this amazing tool. It's capable of damn near anything in the right hands.

thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
I can’t find a place to buy one in canada

Excellent video brother! I’m really on the fence about getting this. I own another tracker but it’s not the Tom Brown tracker haha
Thank You, You are and your reviews are great!
Thanks man. Very reasonable.
What one is this one? #1 2 3?
Great Video!
The back is NOT a saw. Read the Tom Brown Tracker manual. It is intended for scoring wood for traps and notches.
I have two T3s they are just a little smaller and made out of stainless steel. plus they are lighter

THE HAND GUARD COULD BE MORE PRONOUCE... TO prevent slippage!!!
Badass
See the videos that clain Robb Russon designed it and Tom Brown stole it from him.
Tom Brown didnt invent this knife. He stole the design from Robb Russon.
