One thing I've noticed watching your videos. Every time you're talking to dudes on the block, they are like meerkats, always on the lookout and focusing down the street and never looking at you. It's wild!
Lived over there for 6 years, very dangerous but I loved every moment of it. City is beautiful and I worked over there off 87th and stoney. Good vibes regardless of the crime rate. Chicago isn’t always as scary as people make it seem.
New here. I loved the history run down. I recently bought my first bike (R3) I grew up in Rockford IL. Insane crime rate but also INCREDIBLE food and great history. If you’re ever out that way check out the west side.
I really like the message u make in these and appreciate your willingness to look at the situation these people are in from a open and non bias perspective
this area might need a revisit. specifically the north side of south shore. around 71st-73rd & jeffery. i just bought a condo over there & it looks & feels nothing like terror town. especially with the obama center coming. i think 79th is like the divider between south shore & south chicago so hovering near the high 70s is kind of unfair lol
When he said technical, he was talking about the different blocks and the names of the them like yea it’s terror town but its divided by the blocks/hoods names
just incredibly entertaining your vids are.your knowledge of these neighborhoods is totally amazing. I can see how people love to see you coming through on your bike.
