This Tie Rod Steering Sleeve Kit features heavy-duty components designed to support your steering. JKS replaces the OE jam nut with a hefty sleeve that will prevent the tie rod from bending or breaking. What's more, the Sleeve Kit allows full toe adjustment to dial in front end alignment. Installation is a painless process that, once complete, will allow you to perform worry-free out on the trail.

So, in the video you said Ford designed that end link to be the failure point instead of the more expensive to repair power steering rack… then put a sleeve on to reinforce that point. Won’t that just contribute to a failed power steering rack down the road when you get into a rough spot?
So you're correct its a bit of a trade-off. But in my opinion for the trails we take this Bronco on, were more then likely going to break a tie rod with out the sleeve more times then were going to break a power steering rack with the sleeve. At the end of the day it really depends on how hard you wheel your Bronco.
I also want to add this is a "budget" way of doing things. The proper fix to these problems is lifting your Bronco the correct way. Also if you don't go bigger then a 35" tire then you'll be in the clear.
