Metro rail manufacturing in India started first and happens in BEML factory that’s little away from Kammanahalli. BEML is tied up with a Korean manufacturer for building the metro rails. So lots of Koreans came to Bangalore to train and help BEML to build the trains. That’s when many Koreans settled down in and around Kammanahalli. They all were first staying in Diamond district for rent, then they decided to buy their own places and settle and that’s how they all chose Kammanahalli. So that’s why the Korean restaurants and bakeries and stores came up in Kammanahalli.
Wow, thanks for sharing this
Seriously Sid’s knowledge on Far East is exceptional! Love you guys! Learnt a lot about Korean food though!
Cheers

Excellent works guys!
I always insist my brother, who is also a foodie, to watch your videos...informative, fune and no nonsense!
Sid, you are well travelled and well read...
Excellent !
Hello Forkers... BTS Army here ...and now a Forker Army 😊
Myself being so deep into Korean food, music, and culture after becoming a BTS fan, i loved the fact that you covered Korean food and enjoyed it as well.
love you guys.... Fighting!!!! (Korean for keep it up!!!)
Hi Army!!! 👋😁💜
Love back to the BTS Army and Family
Guys!! BTS audience is definitely here.. We have infested the planet and refuse to leave anything kosher 😂💜😉😊 they won't be your jam but please go beyond the prejudice if you haven't heard their story 🤣🤣 I ask it of everyone I know (or don't) 😂😂😂 and the food's more interesting cuz our boys eat this all the time 💜🤣
fantastic work.. Super content! i love you guys and been following you since the start!!!!
(Long post sorry!)
I'm so surprised reading comments here 🤣
Sid's English vocabulary is really some of the best among youtubers in India and shanky takes care of all the bambaiyya masala! 💜
Colorful language is an expression! You guys are absolutely not vulgar or cringe!!! 😂Depends tho on that eardrum sensitivity and thankfully you guys never advertised yourself as a clean family show!!! 👪
And the expectation of you being knowledgeable about so many cuisines introduced on this show, it's kind of an overkill... Even the greatest Bourdain who I will forever miss as one of my own and always hold to the highest standard of anyone who ever has and ever will speak about food, approached every new culture, every dish even, with humility and grace and the joy was always in exploring everything with him!
And in all honesty.. You guys know a lot about food, the passion and care and respect is evident through the screen..
Please be fabulous as you are and I live vicariously through you! 😁
And your comments section is hilarious sometimes , I never make an effort otherwise 😆 Fighting!!! #BTSFOREVER!💜 #hadto🤣 #totallysoberbutshouldshutup
Thanks for that lovely, warm comment. Live back to the BTS Family and fans.
Man that comment felt all warm and fuzzy... Thank you so much... 🍻😁
New subscriber 😊
Miss those days 😢❤❤❤
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Full of humor and fun and very honest comments
Heylu! Here’s a BTS fan! You’ve reached your target audience! 💀
Started watching your video 4 days back while searching for not so hyped places in Goa… and here I am 4 days later hooked on watching your show at 1AM!
Good content guys! Love how this show is no bs and a gateway to so many interesting places! 💜
Have a nice day! Will drop in a review in the comment of your Goa videos, when I try some places you’ve visited in them! Cheers!
Thanks a lot for this. Note that we're up this late replying to messages too. Shanky here by the way. 😅

@@TheBigForkers Roger That !!!!
Love your videos and recommendations. Question for Sid- He mentioned about LA having some amazing Korean food. Can he recommend some of the must visit restaurants there? I live in LA and have been craving to try some authentic options. Thanks!
Park BBQ
Chosun Galbee
Sun Nong Dan
Seong Buk Dong
All in K Town
Sid really knows his Korean food. 👏
I really do love it too (Sid)
If Shanky love pork fat, in NE we are all about the perfect meat to fat ratio in Pork. Be it curry, boil or fry. We need the fat and the skin. Smoked pork is a different league in itself. You guys will definitely enjoy it.
Specially with Sid’s Chinese and Korean back ground, the Akhuni (fermented soya bean) won’t be much of a issue, once you get over the old stinky socks smell. It’s more like Cheese, stinky with a cheesy aftertaste.
We really can't wait to get to the north east for the pork. The one place i gorged on pork was at the ziro music festival since years back. We're hoping to be there soon. Inshallah.
@@shashankjayakumar4990 Inshallah!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Mullahs will get triggered now. 🤣🤣🤣 🍻
@@shashankjayakumar4990 In my state of Assam, it’s BBQ pork on bamboo skewers with rice beer the thing to go. Pork cooked in black sesame goes very well with rice, dal and dried fish chutney.
Producer: “Is this some kind of milk?”
🤣😂😂🤣🤣
Yo, it’s makegoli (fermented rice alcohol)! #dosomeresearchman #watchkdramas
content kaise milega
Regarding 5:08 I have the exact same fear , lol 😅
Most in consistent RUclips channel ever
Hehehe
Great ep Sid. Repledent sounds better than resplendent 15:11
Hehehehehe
Hahaha
KOREA SPAKING!!!
❤️
This is funny.... nice...
Cheers
The only thing missing is Soju. Nice video guys, cheers!
Next time!
Um verdadeiro banquete koreano adorei 🤤
A cozinha coreana é tão boa
(Sid)
That's what you need on your next t-shirt - "Yeh kya doodh hai?" 😂😂
Doodh ka Karz
My Korean friend beside me was hoping to see you'll hit some soju booms while enjoying the bbq
Love Soju, they didn't have any
@@SidMewara ya we heard the waiter say that, 3-4 of those mofos will get must people drunk as hell🤣
I take down a few bottles
Its very surprising to see no considerable rise in the number of subscribers !
It’s not surprising at all since the hosts and the producer(s) don’t consistently come across as knowledgeable of the things they are consuming and seem to have limited vocabulary when conversing. There’s more to the English language than foul words. These guys need to up their game.
Yes i sumwhat agree with you!
@@SalomiThommy i really don't think we used any foul language in this episode. And inspite of the copious amounts of alcohol we seemed rather civil. I don't think we can get any more civilized than this quite frankly. I'm guessing the show is a lil bit like korean food to the masses. Thanks for taking the time to put down a comment though. Appreciate it.
@@shashankjayakumar4990 I wasn’t referring to one episode but the overall show (in response to the topic on subscribers) where there’s been hefty foul language used to describe a food experience which was unnecessary and quite cringey to see/hear. I’m not sure where the thoughts on alcohol consumption and civility came from since I didn’t refer to these in my previous response. Also, I didn’t understand your metaphor on “the show being like Korean food to the masses” - would you please elaborate?
Awe prudent
WhatsApp guys - its a word
WhatsApp macha - it's an emotion
6:39 I have one fuck all producer! LOL
Producer is always in the firing line.
17:22 Naruto reference
Hahahhaa haha
Do something with your sound plz
Sound is fine, please check your device.
Why are you guys trying Korean food in Bangalore ?
Why not, it has good Korean food. Do Bangaloreans only go out to eat food from their city and nothing else.
Why the fuck not
the number of meat eating cultures far outweigh the number of veg eating cultures
Vegetarianism is a novelty worldwide
What man, why do you say you're uneducated about Korean culture? Kerala has tons of Kuriens.
LOL
Something tells me you guys break into a Kripal Ammanna impression every 36 hours and lose it
He doesnt live rent free in our heads. :)
Hii
Ummm... Okay
