Wow I resonate so much with what she talks about having so much psychic energy and power in her early teen years and how she was lucky to find mentors im still calling in mentors for myself and have been overwhelmed by my powers for so long and I’ve been learning to manage them on my own but not always very well I really know deeply all women need these spiritual mentors and spiritually mature, wise woman guidance and the majority of us go without that for lifetimes some of us completely unaware of our powers in our feminine journey at all or confused and overwhelmed by the power we feel in is not sure how to alchemize it

When I was in the death phase (underworld) in the dark Goddess journey I saw in a shamanic journey was grandmother of the wolf clan and she is with me. She came when my son died.

Very lovely listen. Leaving with curiosity around what Seraphina meant when she said that self soothing can be harmful? Sheleana seemed to agree. Curious if anyone can point me towards more information around this idea?
My assumption is that sometimes we self soothe with alcohol and/or drugs and sex... or other ways that essentially self betray to "soothe the pain" .... such was my case for many many moons. I would go as far as people getting tattoos and piercings despite the costs (which could lead to financially issues), yet do it because the pain of the procedure takes away the emotional pain for a hot minute or two... Just some thoughts.
My thoughts went with the experience of self soothing which raised or awakened a deeper hidden and exiled pain. Such as inner child past experience of emotionally neglected. Self soothing act such as self compassion practices for example raised allot of my attachment woonds.
