Hello. In this video, the stone can escape in all directions. This is why the holes can be drilled vertically. If there is no free side to displace the rock, the holes must be drilled at an angle so that the force acts upwards and lifts the rock. If you have any questions, we are always available to help.
@@kubatecbmtagbuildingmateri574 since making my comment I tried an expanding cement material on a rock I was unable to split with 5/8" wedge and feathers. The product was amazing and split my problem rock in all directions.
No, the application is not limited in principle. However, depending on the situation, we will evaluate whether the application of Betonamit in your case really makes sense or not. Just write us a message at office@betonamit.com
How deep do you drill holes? I assume as deep as your bit allows (mine is 18"). How far to space holes apart? How much water for mixture? It looks like 2 to 1? Thanks! I am looking forward to taking on a big boulder in my backyard that is in the way of my pool dig!
Hi Ben, to break the boulder you should drill as deep as possible. You need 1.2 litre of water per 5 kilo bag Betonamit. Space is 10 x diameter of holes. You can send us a picture of the boulder to office@betonamit.com and we will send you a manual and a draft how to drill.
Dear Mario, the machine used in the video is a Hilti TE70. The drill is a 40mm drill with a working length of 80cm. We have made good experiences with it. Greetings from Liechtenstein, where Betonamit and Hilti come from:)
Hi, This shouldn't be a problem if the necessary drilling equipment is available. Could you send us plans or photos so we can better assess this? office@betonamit.com
Good day - Currently we don't have any distribution partners there, but depending on quantity we can supply directly from our Headquarters in Switzerland.
Hi, diameter is between 30mm and 40mm! We use Hilti, Makita and Solida drill bits. We hope this helps, otherwise just contact us anytime with your open questions. Regards, KUBATEC BMT AG.
Is it essentially expandable clay?
It would be great if this came in a two part caulking gun application. A thicker caulk would make it a game changer for my industry.
This video shows the man drilling vertical holes and it did work. Other videos show holes drilled at 45 deg. Which is better?

Hi any environmental hazard?
No, Betonamit consists mainly of burnt lime and various cements. It is therefore no more harmful to the environment than standard concrete.
