Tata Altroz doing a good job who drives in 40-50 kmph normally and good suit for middle class family and medium budget. Well improved Tata motors
Can we get a long term review of the Tata Nexon Facelift one?
Hi Brother, I purchased Nexon BS6, Need to get done thrid service now, so far it has been a perfect car for me. Now break down nothing. I have cover 18000 kms till now, and I have driven twice, Ahemdabad, Gujarat to Karur, Tamil Nadu, which is 1800 kms, one way, I did not feel any body pain at all.
Milage is around 16 to 17KMPL, I have petrole version, and use AC all the time.
One of nice car I have come across.
Turbo mode is fun.
Biggest fun was,
I was racing Innova crystal, VW Jetta, at speed of 150 to 170 KMS, car was super stable. Sports mode is very fun to drive, it gives punch and instant pick up to to keep others behind.

everything u said was right bhai, even zest was comfy and Tatas suspension best suits indian conditions.But seriously u shud point out the drawbacks of Tata cars also like mainly engine ,electronics software and rusting. After 2-3 years we find the real story. True some cars do not have any issue ,some do have .But one thing is for sure Tata cars are not refined or smooth to drive as other petrols like hyundai, MS or honda. Sometimes they install turbo with hicups in city drive, sometime 3 cylinder, Y not a proper 4 cylinder petrol naturally aspirated.Mileage is also a problem in old Tata cars.

I’m confused between Nissan Magnite/Renault Kiger, and Tata Altroz and another dilemma is should I go for petrol or diesel??
Have driven Tata Indigo eCS(2015), Ciaz (2015), XUV 500 (2015) all three are diesel manuals & have driven during same period simultaneously,
My question is I want to buy another car for personal use , upto 8 lakhs 2000-2500 kms approx per month per vehicle. We have not added any petrol car since 1996 after Maruti 800, since the era of Tata Indica we had all diesel vehicles only! Starting from 3 Indicas (2000, 2004 & 2006), Swift Dezire (2008) & Mahindra Renault Logan (2008).
Main confusion for me is which engine should I opt for and which car suits me better?

Altroz is much better than i20 and baleno in terms of drive,suspension,handling seriously i try all three cars but altroz impress me over other two. Seriously go for altroz if you want a premium hatchback. Tata just lack behind an automatic they should come with dct soon coz most of the peoples buy i20 coz of automatic
You are right..even I was driving around 80km/hr and suddenly my left tire hit some pot holes there was loud sound .. i felt like tire burst or alloy break down.. but nothing happened

Mileage on Higways with 90+ speed is around 18.5 kmpl
Mileage on Highways with almost constant speed between 70 to 90 can reach upto 21 kmpl
No Mine is working fine got no issues.

I will suggest another feature for keeping bottles cool in Altroz which I personally tried, is under the front passenger seat. The bottle remains freezed there I don’t know whether there is a freezer there or what but the water remains so cool. Please try that ,,
