Them losing their shit over Archaon is pretty great. I know people dislike End Times but not even Horus or Abaddon in 40k with all their souped up technology managed to actually bring the apocalypse.
I would recommend to make a reaction to the other side of the gate future (Warhammer 40k) and adding to the au the fan-theory of sigmar as one of the two lost forgotten primarchs (never found by the emperor or... Y'know betrayed... I prefer that he didn't found them however) and by this, merging the two warps and the 4 chaos entities from both fantasy and 40k in one, remembering also that in the anime it's said that each race came from the gate, meaning that the humans of the empire originally came from earth and that a lost primarch such as the theorised sigmar arrival is not out of the realm of possibility
