    The conduction system is a slow responsive tissue even you have mentioned it in arrythmias, mam how do you say the conduction is faster through conduction system than the contracture system that's the myocardium, 3.23 sec

      Fibrous ring separates atria from ventricles…it’s not faster than gap junctions within muscles

    Mam, can you please explain how extracellular increase in k+ concentration causes cardiac arrest in diastole

    • @PhysiologyOpen
      @PhysiologyOpen  9 месяцев назад +1

      It increases membrane potential…so heart stuck in depolarised state…sodium channels stuck in inactivated state- no new action potential can generate- no new contraction- heart arrest in diastole

    Ma'am, thank you very much.
    can you please explain what is pulmonary conus ? and where is the location of pulmonary conus and what is AV groove ?

      Its anatomy question. Anatomists will be able to explain better. Not my strong point

    Mam. I have a question about overdrive suppression of Excitatory cells?

      Yeah please ask

      @@PhysiologyOpen I don’t understand how increased activity of Na+/K+ pump will cause further hyperpolaroztion of excitatory cell, when there is Ca+2/Na+ is working to generate +1 potential. Shouldn’t these cancel each other out?

    Mam, since first and last muscle fibres are not in direct connection how impulse can transmit from last fibre to first as it's said in case of reentry

      If there is anatomical defect...it may happen...or functionally if refractory period shortens
