- On today's episode of Randomland... we find my old secret Journal, and read it! I'll show you the construction at the Randomland HQ, give a slight update on Ally's surgery which is drawing ever closer, explore some history in and around the Orange circle in Orange, California, and restock the Antique Station booth which has survived into the new year with more stuff than ever!

But really, the point of Randomland is that Adventure is everywhere! From the local antique store to the Las Vegas Strip, from the creepy Clown Motel in the desert to Disneyland Paris! Rats are great destroyers of stored stuff. Especially paper. I hope all of your mementos are untouched. My sons also loved the TMNTs. Crazy about those sewer dwelling shell backs.
On Monday, while preparing to visit the Orange Circle to do a little antiquing, I just happened to watch this video. In all my years of going there, I had never heard of Flashbacks Mercantile. So I decided to visit it. The owner was so sweet. I mentioned how I had found out about his store, just that morning, from your video. He said that he hadn’t even seen you recording. He was very excited! I told him you had a lot of followers on your RUclips channel and that he would probably get more traffic because of it. He is very hopeful. I played your vlog on my phone for him and then helped him to find it on his own phone. He said to let you know that he would love to meet you in person. Hopefully you can stop by and visit him. Honestly, there’s not much better than a giant dumpster rolling up to your house and then rolling away full of stuff that’s been weighing you down. It’s totally song worthy and I highly recommend it!!
Praying for a speedy recovery for Ally after her surgery. I kinda went thru a similar situation about 3yrs ago and its tuff but with you by her side she will get better!

My wife and move from CA a couple years ago and we miss Disney so much. Thanks for bringing that same excitement for history and Disney that I have.
Glad that everything is coming together. That toy submarine was sent out from here on Long island through the "Science Program" published through Doubleday Publishing and they intern, teamed up with the Renwal Toy Company also of Garden City, Lawngyland. Renwal made those clear human body models, engine models and my favorite, the NO. 811 RENWAL COSMORAMA ASTRONOMY SPACE PLANETARIUM now worth $1600!!! My mother threw mine out....Renwal eventually sold off to Revell, that famous model company. Love the history of the Orange area.

I saved some of my boys stuff from school like that too. They both loved those turtles too. As well as Power Rangers, and dinosaurs. I had to get up early several black Fridays to find certain gifts that wanted..
Looks your daddy and brother gave you a great Christmas gift. I'm moving later this year and hope to have similar shelves built for my basement. I have stuff stored in clear pladtic totes too.

Justin I feel for you with Ally hurting and sick!!My wife of 23yrs is very sick too!On Dec 4th she got sick and then on the 8th we found she has Cancer.She had surgery on the 16th and now the first week on Jan Chemo started! so we have a long haul too.Im her caregiver and also my moms! The best thing I will suggest make sure time to let everything out of your head or it will eat you up worrying. Just be there for her and keep her fighting! Wishing you both a much better New Year!
PS If I was in your area I would have bought that Sub Model as that is what I do to relax!

Good stuff! That’s an amazing Christmas gift to have custom sturdy shelves like that built! My one piece advice, label everything! (You probably know this) but especially if you’re selling stuff, it’s really helpful to be able to look at a box or tub and know what’s in it without digging thru it!

ADVICE/ENCOURAGEMENT FOR ALLIE: I've had 36 surgeries do to my birth defects and a few other things. In my experience, dread and fear leading up to the surgery is usually worse than the surgery itself. If you've never had surgery before and don't know what to expect, I can almost promise the scenarios your brain comes up with are significantly worse than the actual experience! You've got this! You are strong, and I believe in you!

dude that was awesome this may be your best video yet yes once again you spent too much time in the booth, yes the ninja turtles are awesome can you draw the 90's film version? also why no splinter (scared to draw him cuz he's a rat huh?) speaking of mice since that's your new house you should take that door out and get a bigger one that covers the floor that way they can't get in also you said there's a vent that no longer works is the other way their getting in have someone put a small metal piece there id say use the wood you showed with the nails but that might be too big glad you got the window fixed when you said: i better stop and get inside before i get in trouble with ally that would have been funny if she showed up and been like...what are you doing? im starting to get hungry you know what time it is? lol
btw that moment i still remember the moving out of the storage unit video i think i'll go back and watch that now and yes take care of her don't worry about trips or anything she comes first you gave us other videos to watch and enjoy (although at the very end you got that half dumpster song stuck in my head WHY JUSTIN WHY?)

I also have a couple of places that you might want to check out once Alley has revocerd and you have a some time in between your other travels. One palce is old town San Dimas. There's a lot of old houses and buildings out there to check out.
Another place to check out is the Funko Pop store in Hollywood. Lots and lots of Funko Pop and FP related merchandise there blus a lot of "life sized" Funko Pop sttatues all around the store. I thin k that it's somwhere that you'd enjoy checking out. Plust, they have a part of the store where you can custome make your Funko Pop.
