Thanks for asking these in depth questions. It seems to me that Tony isn’t totally familiar with design thinking and he thought it’s more about design than it is about the process of ideation. ODI works great applied first, then once the product discovery step is reached, design thinking can be used to build the right product that addresses the unmet needs.
Of all the ODI explanations, this was by far the clearest and most pragmatic. Thank you!
