- NEW AF! Back at you guys with a fun trip to Blue Ridge Reservoir up here in Northern Az! I'm new to trout fishing with lures and this lake isn't shore friendly. I knew I had to bring the kayak out and troll for this episode to work. Well it just so happened that Clint, the owner of Z-Ray lures recently sent me out an awesome pack of his lures to try out. It's safe to say I'm hooked on them now!!! Since I'm new to lures and trolling, I wasn't able to limit out this trip but I still had a blast exploring this massive lake! The stocking truck even pulled up as I was headed out this trip!!! Hope you guys like the episode and make sure to drop a comment and like the video!!! Man I can't find these lures anywhere in Phx, went to Cabela's, Bass pro, Sportsman's and nada INSTORE. All online only. Amazon doesn't know what they are . Got to try Phoenix Fishing Supply on Tuesday since they close tomorrow. And just found out they are also sold Woods Canyon Lake Store and Marina. Yes I was there and all I bought was icecream for the kids. Dang it.
LOL!!! So I've found Z-Rays at Bass Pro in Mesa, and all AZ Sportsmans Warehouses, but they don't have the rainbow ones like I use in store for whatever reason. To get the different colored ones you have to use BassPro.com or Cabelas.com, I get them shipped to store for free and when I come down I pick them up. I was in a Idaho and Utah Cabelas this week and they both had the special colors in stock in store! So hopefully our Bass Pro in Mesa will carry them soon too!
@@Arizonafishing now you tell me. I just called Phoenix Fishing Supply. Same thing, "oh we dont carry the trout colors" , man those things are harder than finding new cars on dealership lots 😁😁. On line it is I guess
Hey quick question, not sure how long ago it was, maybe 8 years ago, wasn’t Blue Ridge dry? They were either doing some work to it or they emptied it for something. Anyone know anything about that?
Yes they emptied it for work on the damn I’d say about 4-5 years ago?
