I love all Ginty Movies. I was unaware he died. Great actor in my book!
Thank you-we were friends for nearly 20 years-he is missed.
The famous, known and legendary as well as the late Robert Ginty is one of my most favorite Hollywood action stars. It's so sad that he already passed away!!!
I was happy to see Mr. Ginty rememberd on the Screen Actors Guild Awards. I will never forget the first time I saw the Exterminator as a kid. Still a powerful movie and still one of my favorites to this day. R.I.P. Mr. Ginty and thank you for making John Eastland who he was. You will be missed.
He was one of my favorite actors back i the eightees, when the vhs cassettes came available to kids like us back then, the exterminator movies where my favorite ones
My friend Robert Ginty............gone 1 year ago today...........just one less year till we meet again but not a day has passed since we met in 1992 that you haven't been in my thoughts and inspiring me like no-one else ever could. Your candle is burning my special friend.........I miss you more than words. M 09/21/2010
RIP Robert Ginty you always seem to be the good guy of the good guys in the movies. RIP you deserve a good rest now. I
I love the fact that he always delivered. He cared, and it showed in every role, even the less than stellar ones. Robert Ginty gotta get paid too.
Fave role is the Exterminator, natch. I watch that one a couple of times every year. Makes me a little misty eyed now, since both he and Steve James are gone, and Christopher George left us in the early 80s. Damn I feel old.
Underrated actor.
AGREE 100%
A face from my younger days, thanks Dad for letting me watch The Exterminator on pirate Betamax!
quite a popular hero after his 1980 film the exterminator a great film which featured chip taylors classic theme for an american hero with the then newly built twin towers as an imposing backdrop great memories ...
he`s a must for any dvd collection, i now have a few ginty dvd`s, i do love film stars that will do the more gritty films, like charles bronson, klaus kinski & of course Robert
God i'm in tears. I didn't know he passed away. He starred in one of my favorite movies The Exterminator. God I miss him already.
Yeah, I have a soft spot for Ginty and The Exterminator. It's my favorite bad flick. It tried it really did, so A for effort. The helicopter shots in the opening and closing credits are still stirring, especially old Yankee stadium. And it wouldn't have been the same without him. However, the less we say about its sequel the better......
Need to get these on dvd
what a film & what a song! will have to check his other movies out!!!
Best actor Robert R .I .P🙏
Great tribute,Great actor.
Fan of Ginty since RLM saw a few of his movies. He was probably most famous for his Exterminator movies. But kinda fell off the map there once the 80s ended.
A very nice tribute for this wonderful and talented actor. Thanks for posting this!! R.I.P. Robert Ginty
Robert Ginty he will be sadly missed R.I.P.
The song gives me goosebumps! Even if you knew little of Ginty's career, this music makes it seem epic!
The Exterminator was one of my favorite films. im srry to hear bout Robert Gintys passing.
Just came across this tribute,so sad, one of my Betamax heros.
robert ginty may you R.I.P you were a great actor.
I was just remeberd...Steve James who played Jefferson in the Exterminator also died a while back. I kind of feel a little better knowing they're back together.
@geovettes White Fire (1985) is one of the coolest!
a very good actor
Fantastic!!!
RIP
Great Actor.
Robert Ginty said ` I F YOU ,RE LYING , I,LL BE BACK " THREE YEARS BEFORE ARNOLD SCHARTZENNEGER . R I P MY FRIEND !
What version of American hero is this I can’t find it anywhere
Paul Ginty was a great actor. I loved him in The Exterminator. He will be missed.
do you mean robert??
Great compilation, thanks for posting. :)
A great actor. The best at playing peaceful men who get pushed too far. Almost too good an actor for the roles he got, but he brought something special to them. He deserved to be more famous than he was.
Ever since I first saw the Exterminator a long time ago, I have always found him strangely irresistable and sexy. Not the best actor IMO and not the handsomest but something about him has always been so attractive to me. I was so very saddened when I learned he died (so young too). 4/19/20
To me he will always be TJ Wylie. I do wish they had kept Hawaiian Heat on Saturday. They screwed everyone on that show. It was good and would have lasted on Saturdays.
WE ALL AGREE THE EXTERMINATOR SEQUEL COULD'VE BEEN MADE WITH A BETTER MORE*ORIGINAL* and RAW SCRIPT...WHERE THE SEQUEL FAILS, IS THE ENTIRE STORY..
The director thought of First Blood as his ideal sequel.
T.J from Black Sheep..
R.I.P
White Fire!
Oh, wait I meant Robert Ginty. I think it's because actor Charles Bronson played a character named Paul Kersey in the Death Wish films, and seeing that Robert Ginty is so accociated with the Vigilate genre, I got him confused with good old Charlie. XD
When he had a beard, he sorta looked like Chuck Norris from an angle...albeit a poor mans version of the legend himself... tired, worn out and without the martial arts.
I saw him in Codename Vengeance...says enough
Paul McCartney ???????
He d have a bit of a look of Paul McCartney in the scene in the Exterminator when he bursts in on the Ghetto Ghouls party, that is true.
After watching you on Exterminator, I bought Anarchist cook book. I was fifteen back then.
