No, it looks like the articulation is the same. I had an issue with the left leg on the bad one poping of the joint when ever I start moving it in a bit more dynamic pose. Better KO doesn't have that issue so far.

By complete luck, I ended up ordering from the correct store. Just received it today, and it's the right "Max" version. Looks pretty good! The figure is solid, and of the parts are included. It's my first Yamaguchi figure, so I'll have to get used to posing it, but I'm having fun with it.

There are 3 versions. One is without the sais, side holsters already have non-removable guns, and the guns you have are realistic and full black. I have that one, even though I ordered the one you're showing. :D
When I went to do research on a good bootleg of this figure, the prices, the videos, the reviews, and the images of the first bootleg looked good. Even the price of the bootleg that people mentioned is right on the money. The joints even matched on the images. I have no idea what happened.

The first time I bought this figure, I also received the bad version like you. After that, I realized there are two versions of this figure. I asked two shops in China, and they both assured me that they would send me the better version with black shoulder joints. However, when they shipped it to me, it was still the bad version. Since I bought it on Shopee, I was able to return it, and I returned it twice !!! lol. After all, I think this is an issue with the batches of this figure currently available in China. It’s possible the better version has been temporarily halted or produced in smaller quantities, allowing the bad version to flood the market. The shops on AliExpress might not care too much about this issue. I still cant find the better version :)

I'm pretty sure this happens with the SH figuarts one as well. (SH Figuarts Deadpool2 KO). Everyone else seemed to get good copies but the one I got was WAY worse. Even the acessories were way worse!

I've had the worse KO for a while so I just ordered from this seller to see if I can get the better bootleg. I'm hoping I get the better one since all but one of the reviews had pics of the better one.
better one doesnt actually look better to me.even the wrinkles on the suit looks less defined, the face is off,maybe its your issue,but its like its melted sideways.even the eyes doesnt fit as well.
I have the real version that has Marvel on the box and revoltech. If it doesn’t have that then it’s a bootleg, and the images on the box are great quality print. But yes if you don’t know what you’re looking for then you will get ripped off.

I recently just received mine today. I got the better version the only issue I’m having with it, though is the swapping of hands and head.
