I listen to this song almost daily , I even have it as a screen saver so I can get at it faster . Also have it in my car in case I want to just cruise around and listen to the voices of the Garden.
They did a beautiful remake I really love the first its what singers do some bring back music we have heard before this is no different now there is another remake if this song. They all are nice for each generation
The original version was better, they should have left it with a slow beat instead of a fast beat, this version was good but not great, the original one back in 89 to 90 is the bomb.
at first i was like wtf did they do? the original is classic! by classic artists! but then it grew on me...ALOT! Is the order of the artists, Tyrese...usher...robin thicke...barry (i love how he didnt replace barry!) LL...but wheres tevin? jus in the adlibs?
your perspective is cloudy the first time i herd this song was this version and as an open minded listener sounds way better sound wise .maybe i'll go listen to more of what these artists put out and have a better appreciation .for their talent on it ,this is a tribute to q and his life's wOrk don't be so quick to judge........
when I read the artists I so was expecting to hate this. some songs shouldnt be touched. this is one. but its not so much as a remake as a remix. I think by leaving Barry in it helped me like it.

Too much auto-tune, and why would you turn a slow R&B song to an uptempo pop song with many different drum breaks? Smh this could have been so much better with all this talent. I really enjoyed Tyrese, Usher, and Robin Thicke though. Everybody else was eh.
