Exactly. Light tanks have a gun as well. Why not to use it, right? It can be worse than a med gun but when you combine it with the great speed and spotting capacity, it can become the best gun.

Having one scout per team on steppes, with one of them being LT432 while the other ELC Even 90, with all the TD spots there are at the start, there is NO CHANCE an LT 432 could outplay the ELC in the field right from start. He'd get spotted much earlier than spot back, with plenty of time for TD's to take him out in easy consecutive shots (or 1 shot by FV no problemo).
Hanging around the field in order to stay unspotted while hoping to spot an ELC that would move in fornt after initial spot would yield nothing if the ELC is half-assed player, let alone if he's good with good crew.
The thing he did is quite OK, go any flank and give info and shoot the enemies from double bush. Might have worked on G0 too, he chose H1, no problem. Unfortunate pens from ELC at the end made this a defeat, one less pen from that extra shit gun of ELC and it would be a victory most likely even if both strv and vk were afk.
People don't understand that light tanks are more valuable late in the game than early, also they become most valuable after enemy has no more lights. Versus ELC other lights should not practice spotting but help taking out enemy guns to get into late game (less guns that can hit you) asap. Then you take care of ELC with minimal support, thus he's left to his 3 shots and death.
You don't go to spot the light but the TDs and other tanks if you only wanna spot elc you tell me i cant spot on prohorovka but have to be a redline sniper?
Also not unlucky pena from elc dont expect to bounce in a light. And also I don't blame the 121b at all with what he said. He is right
When there is only one light per team on a open map like this one you dont go sit in the back (you never do) but spot or sit in a position thats aggressive enough to spot enemies relocating.
@@lazygamez7280 well Steppes is not Prokhorovka. You can't spot the TD ridge on their spawn from your TD ridge, you need to get into the field. The field is open (unlike the ridge in Prokh) and you have 2 rocks to hide behind or the ditch. An ELC will spot you while remaining unspotted when you peek EITHER rock bush, also if you peek from the ditch.
So, as it's another map, I don't see the possibility of spotting TD's and tanks that relocate behind their TD ridge.
Another thing, while you exist on the map the ELC is somewhat confined. If you get killed as the only light the ELC can and should take hyperaggressive spots and your team is completely lost. So, just by being alive on that map you already help in a way. BTW he was in a very aggressive spot, just on a flank rather than middle. And he did spot every move on that flank, so info was coming in to his team, just not the info a 121b on the other side wished for.
ELC not only bounces but is prone to missing even in close range (when he moves) and the LT432 is VERY bouncy.
It's easy just go the bush g3 and you will spot him right away
When i play the LTTB i face to 90 % an ELC its somewhat unfair

There were really few tanks on that side so why bother pushing and considering he had a shit spotter he didn't have anything to shoot at
People should focus on their own play a little more; no one knows exactly what the other guy is contending with or the thought calculation, so it is annoying to see people get bothered in chat over what someone else is doing. I suspect the 121's frustration has more to do with him getting out-spotted and rendered ineffective in an area that is hard to retreat from. His (false) assumption is that the LT-432, if on his side, would have helped with the counter-spotting, but in truth the LT-432 would also have been out-spotted and rendered just as ineffective.
It was a great game. The only unfortunate mistake was ramming the ELC, because otherwise he would probably have shot you, left you with 20HP, and he would then have to reload. But mostly, it is a instinctive reaction to ram ELCs

A light tank was giving a new player in a t29 a hard time … funny story the t29 ended with 750 damage (not a lot but something) and the light ended with 0 … I called out light tank for being a troll and the t29 thanked me lol
Marking LT is the hardest thing in that game. With all this dumb fuckers around most of the battles you can spot all enemy team by all battle and still lose it in 3 min with 0 asists.

ELC wasn’t better he probably sat in the same bush the whole game saving his hp and got lucky IMO. These days you can’t count on your team to hit what you spot as they are playing every position except where they’re needed. I spot 5-11 players with under 1k assistance damage so if you’re trying to win a light tank player needs to get involved IMO to get damage. That’s how it is since last December for me. Good game buddy enjoy your game’s immensely

It will always outspot u if he's not bad. Except blind shooting all bushes good luck in the open.

This is why I turn off my team chat. I just farm damage, win and don't care about anyone in my team, because WoT is not team play game... its just you and 14 other players who just care for themselves so... play solo or with your friends in platoon and you will be a happy man.
i kinda feel for 121b, although you carried , yyour role is light so its better to try to let the team do the same damage and spot. having said that, teams are usually bunch of tomatoes so cant blame you
and shouldnt have stopped when you spotted elc tbf. ELC has terrible gun handling and you are quite bouncy. Keep moving is the key in LT vs elc, he probably had all spotting layout and couldnt hit a wall if you went under his gun and good chance he fluffs one into your turret. Just me.

sure u had a good game... but ur job is to spot...not to do dmg, atleast at start of the match... problem is ppl watch videos like this and dont even care about its own team... seen such thing happen even on malinovka which is literaly made for scouts yet ppl dont give a shit... point is they ruin the game for other ppl... this kind of thing can/should only happen in clan fights and such...
Lol :) everyone saying that you should spot and help team etc. No one mentions this game is a 1vs29. Whenever you spot good and hope for much assisting, most of the battles your team mates won't even shoot. Not to mention you are competing with your own LTs in your team to get as much use as you can.
That was perfectly played by Iyouxin, say whatever you want. I wouldn't have countered that ELC in the first minutes either. Dying after 1 minute and feeling happy that you tried to spot for those 121B tomatoes? I don't think so.
When the opportunity arises and you see that you can actually be more useful by spotting and the MM doesn't compare you to the enemy ELC while you are playing with your HWK30, then afc you can spot like a boss.
121b in top tier MM first sniping from F0 ( really?) then relocating to K9 before enemy team even push anything (to early). He is doing nothing, sniping nothing, going back to useless position waiting there for 3-5min untill flank colapse which didnt even happend, rest of his team is playing there and he have no shoots for 4min. Players like this 121b are the reason you have 2:15 games. They do nothing apart playing pussy mode and letting flank colapse early for example so enemy team is pushing with almost full HP blitzkrieg mode and you cant stop attack like this most of the time.
This is why its so important to be where the fight is and bleed enemy HP, you can relocate when flank is losing but not 3min BEFORE its starts losing... 0 game impact, people like this are having win rate based of coin tossing.
IMHO that selfish gameplay in first part of the game caused other teammates could not play to their potential.

I really like you, but that 121B was kinda right, lights are made for mainly spoting, In his place, I'd be pissed too that my teammate in light is not spoting in contrast to enemy lt. No offense thats only my opinion, lov ya

@@lazygamez7280 Untrue, no one ever has been banned for not "filling his role as a tank", it is true that it is a 15v15 but there is actually no "team", everyone plays his own game, even arta that relies on his team spotting, you just use them as best as you can to get high scores/credits. Also no one ever has been banned for that report thing that is in the game, is just a placebo, look at this ruclips.net/video/3IqlCoC9y7o/видео.html, but of course you can still get banned for pushing out allies and stuff but you need to send the replay to wg and make a report manually.

LT job is to enable others to do damage. Doing direct damage means NOT enabling your team. This would be fine in itself. However, if the enemy LT was doing his job and you were not, then thats how matches are lost. 121 was correct. Change class.

It's situational. On that map, in a LT-432 vs an enemy Even 90 you can't outspot them. It's a poor spotting map early on anyways, taking a position early where you can contribute was a good call.
LT's job is to be a medium but shittier and enact vision control when necessary
1:50 see how that T-382 is ambushed by coqn and unspotted leo? he had no vision and died because of that and the rest of the flank got cleared quickly after. Yes he did 3k on the other flank but it was unnecessary since enemies were outnumbered and clueless BUT they still won.
I mean T-832 in a tier 10 mm goes there alone and this is our mistake? Also if that 121B would be there helping T-832, they could win the flank. What can we do? Win all 3 flanks?
@@iyouxintwitch you are right, yes you can't win all flanks but you can defend one and win the other. If that T-382 had vision he would've pulled back, he only had info on that conq so he took a defensive position in the dip. I think the same goes for the 121b as well, he saw that he didn't have anyone spotting for him so he took the camping position which is a bad play but also a safe one.
you played very well. Lt is a lovely light to do damage but I agree with the dude that said to change class!. You could have outplayed this elc at the beginning.

Although everybody is judging at a loss. if it's a win nobody is complaining. I mean you have to play as a light at least in the 1st min and at the end of the battle.

You think a LT-432 can out-spot an ELC Even 90 on that map? Not a chance, in a brawl the LT-432 plays like a medium and can bully the ELC, but trying to out-spot an ELC on that map is just asking to throw away your HP. Especially when the enemy light is in a 3-man platoon.
No way you benefit the team if you try to play like a spotter early on in this situation.

@@og_myxiplx so you are saying that if you play prohirovka you should not try to spot at all. Because there is an elc. There are ways to play an counter in every map. You just need to figure it out.
@@modernraider5124 No, it's more nuanced than that. If you're on this map vs an ELC platooned with 2 other tanks and you're playing a light with awful camo and gun depression then trying to counter the ELC is not likely to benefit the team.
If you're also a player of this caliber and know you can deal 3-5k of damage and support the heavies then it 100% makes sense to play the game in this way.
The strength of light tanks is their flexibility. They can spot, deal damage, relocate to support flanks. You see a lot of relocation to support teammates in this battle, spotting isn't the only way you can support a team.
I also have a 3-marked Even 90 and can tell you from experience that they're OP on this map. Even without a platoon I can run rings around a LT-432 here. You can't counter a good Even 90 in the early battle.
When i see my team starting to camp on center at the beginning of the game, i know we lost already. Most of the time, if you re light trying to spot center, you just camp in a bush but nothing happens unless the ennemy are bad players. During this time you encouraged your team to camp middle waiting for a spot, while the ennemy is taking control of the flanks. And then it s a fast lost...

Even if you do damage, it only affects your team when you don't do what you have to do, like go scouting to mark the enemy, those are the light ones, to mark, not so much to do damage. There are other tanks to do damage, just don't be the cancer of the games. Learn to play according to the class of tank you use, otherwise it only affects the others in the team, no matter how much damage you do, if you don't focus on what you should, you only do more damage to your team and occupy a place on the team you don't play, because you blind your teammates on the battlefield.
Can't TDs spot and trade their hp? Do they come with 0 view range? Can't meds spot?
All tanks come with guns for a reason. There is a primary role, but not a single role. In this case, no one on the green team is going to win the spotting game against an ELC. The game would have been a win without the AFKs.

bro how can this be selfish? what do you mean by selfish? what is the goal? winning. how do you win? by destroying enemy vehicles. how do you destroy them? by doing damage. i do the damage or my teammates do the damage, does it matter? at the end the damage is done and we win. you say play another class to do so. but you couldn't do the same with another class. we used the speed of the light tank to get there, and we used the camouflage of the light tank to spot and shoot unspotted there. so we used the strengths of the light tank. do you really think we could compete against an elc in a triple platoon? do you really think our teammates could assist us in the field? what if they were not good enough to assist us? we could die with 1k assist. is this more beneficial for the team? it's just we did a mistake on the approach and calculation on our hp at the end against elc, but the problem was we had 2 tanks being afk. and you say we should've trusted these afk teammates.
@@iyouxintwitch I play for win as well and not only for personal stats, BUT when I play with light, in an open field map, I try not to let the whole map for the enemy light tank to dominate... you did not even try to spot for allies, you went directly for dmg in the heavy line, so what I am saying is that your 121B has the right to complain... you cannot demand for your allies to know that will can make 6k dmg at the end, especially when you play using that pathetic Anonymizer feature
