I watched your review then Bought this one about a year ago (camel-tan color) and I love it. Plenty of storage space for cards and bills, and the leather still smells fresh-new. No issues with magnets. Only con for me is it's bulky. I might have opted for the smaller size had I known how large it is, but I still really like it.
I looked all over to see if you'd reviewed this one about half a year ago! I ended up going with this wallet because here in Japan we use tons of coins and cash, plus a load of point cards too. I wanted something smaller than my old Coach clutch style wallet and this fit the bill ;) After half a year, the caramel color has started to patina a little bit and the zipper is holding up perfectly (aside from pealing on the painted edges).
Great review, it also brings back memories. The price is giving me sticker shock, though. Especially since I used to own a zipper wallet nearly that same size for under $30 USD. The only difference was that the coin pouch it had used a button thingy (yes, it's a term, haven't had my morning caffeine yet) to close it even more securely despite the already "secure" main zipper to close it all up. In fact, it was that style of wallet that graced my back pocket for over 2 decades until age and constant back pains forced me to ditch the almost Costanza-type wallets for the likes of the Stow, Znap, and the Flipside 4. To date, a wallet the maximum size/dimensions of the base out-of-the-box Flipside 4 configuration is about as large as I dare go. Though to be honest, I use the Znap and/or Stow more often - especially since it looks a little more "upscale" when wearing "business" casual at family gatherings.
Great review. You are my go to when it comes to wallet reviews. But I was wondering if you can do a review on the Shinkai by Kisetsu? Looks cool and would want your take on it.
Thanks for the review! May I ask, what would be your recommendation if I needed space for some coins plus 3 cards? Bills could be folded in half. Thanks!
price seems a little steep for me I'd like that the coin pouches on wallets could open up entirely, it could be hard to grab specific coins with a design like this I believe also, the card slots seem a liiiiiitle too tight to put some cards with ease, how do you feel about it? are they difficult to put cards in/take them out?
It follows the same path as the other premium versions. The Dri-tan leather, which is more supple and a heavier weight, different logo representation, two toned leather/material offering. It looks and feels really good. It's currently the same price as the regular zip, so maybe they're looking to reduce inventory.
I was searching for your review when I was looking at this wallet two months ago!, I still bought it, glad you reviewed it. I love it a lot

Bellroy is a master of both design and build quality. I really like their products.

Excellent to hear! Glad it’s holding up.

This wallet is good for travel only not an everyday carry, but I do prefer passport wallets for that matter..great review as always.
That is a good comment!
Will the magnets do any harm to the credit cards... or are they not that strong to do any damage?
A great everything wallet from Bellroy. Personally, I'll stick with their more minimal carry wallets. Great review, Mark!
Great review.

I've seen it on Kickstarter!
My next wallet
Great review as always! Would you be able to review the Mitchell Leather wrap card holder and see how it compares to the Port wallet?
I just ordered it, thanks! Great idea.
@@walletopia awesome, can’t wait!

Another solid review…. But why does your hand say “Horse” on it? 😂
Just found two of these for half price. Woo hoo.... I shall give one as a gift to someone.
Good find!
price seems a little steep for me

Do the clutch next i think it's the bellroy portfolio bill fold
could you please make a review of the Thirteen50 leather classic 4 pocket bifold? :)
I really like this wallet! Could someone tell me where I could buy it?
Wait, why is RFID not a good thing? I don’t know much about it.
Almost perfect for my needs and desires but needs a waterproof zip and made out of waterproof material.
👏👏
Wooop
How much, i need one
I am yet to see a review for premium edition.

@@walletopia yes they are on sale these days, bellroy is not keen on sales usually.
you're good
does that model for $109 have RFID blocking or the other $149?
They both have RFID blocking
Heck, with the carrying capacity of this wallet-I could toss my briefcase…
all is good until the zip jammed
any issues with coins that are attracted to magnets sliding them in? I know Canadian coins stick to magnets.
I don't have any Canadian coins, but the magnets are not very strong.
Good travel wallet. Not applicable for daily use in my opinion.
Nice but kinda pricey
wallet to big..have zipper.
i dont support this company bellroy because to expensive for me..either the bag key wallet so on..
there items looks great but not for me..
