Wow! I watched this video twice beginning to end and saw the paper transform from blank white sheet to a forest. Or rather the forest was always there you made it visible to us. At 3:06 two trunks started becoming dimly visible on the right side. At 6:22 beams of sun rays started penetrating on the right. At 7:40 shadows started forming on the ground. At 8:40 the two trunks on the right were replaced by dense foliage. At 12:23 tree trunks on the left side started making their appearance. At 13:27 the stems appeared in the center and the glare of sun light curving round the stem partially obscuring the trunk, what an effect ! At 14:06 finer and minuter details appeared. The picture was perfect. Ditto copy of the one on the panel at right. All done without using white paint even for the sun! Fabulous. Magic.

What a lovely example of that peaceful time of day where the light shines through the trees. I wish we had a better word for that in English, like the Japanese say Komorebi, because it is truly one of the most beautiful things to see.

I simply love your work. I like the colors that you use and your style of painting. It was like magick watching this go fro white to this beautiful painting. Your trees actually look like trees and the colors you used had at least some green in it. Simply lovely.
You make it look simple. However, you know exactly where the light will hit and where the shadows will fall when placing each stroke and layer of paint and leaving others. It's really impressive. I would like to request you to add a few instructions in your videos on what paints you are picking up, if you are painting wet on wet in certain areas or waiting for a certain area to dry, etc. It would be helpful. Do you paint from pictures or directly from observing nature? Do you have any tips on how to learn these techniques?
