Nas got 3 decades of music. I don't think being a "old" rapper is as much of a hindrance as it was even 10 years ago. Too much good music being released by older heads for that glass ceiling to still be there. I would LOVE a Nas/Beans collaboration.

@@chiefnem Beans have 3 classic solo albums (The Truth, The Reason and The B. Coming) and DMX first 5 albums was bangers (Grand Champ was probably my favorite). You also have to add in the mixtapes and group projects. DMX was snapping on those Ruff Ryder albums and the same goes for Beanie Sigel with the Rocafella projects. 💯 It would've been hard for Jay to survive the The Lox and Nas beef without Beanie Sigel.
@Son Yaban revisionist history, beans 1st lp was not classic it was hard tho, that 2nd lp he stepped all the way up. Better beats better bars. 3rd lp too. Jay bars got him past the lox and nas beef. Beans wasn't on takeover bp2 or several other joints taking shots at nas. He didn't need beans. Beans took care of dipset kinda, more like they didn't want it with him. X was done bar wise after the 3rd album. Nobody likes the ruff Ryder stuff after the 1st one. I think 3 minute l might've been ok maybe i don't remember. But I definitely remember people not liking 2. Y'all really forgot who jay was during all this huh smh

Takeover didn't win Jay Z that beef. As good as it was, everyone had Ether over that track. Beans showed up with complete disrespect on that special delivery diss to Nas. Nobody in the industry came at Jadakiss and Nas harder than Beanie Sigel. 💯
@@chiefnem When it comes to the Ruff Ryder album's, I'm speaking of DMX work on those projects. The first one was a classic mainly because it was all Lox. The others started having too many features but people listened for certain artists. I know for a fact alot of people was playing Volume 3 when Cassidy was on there. 💯
