Love rust so much over 9k solo hours that was before 12 hour shifts,5 days a week sometimes 6, 2 toddlers. Fun fact: Spiral staircases were in castle because it’s hard for a right handed person to fight going up spiral staircases because their sword arm would be blocked. Making left-handed swordsmen very useful for breaching castles.
That's apparently not 'true' because it's still easy enough to hold a shield up to defend your head and lunge at the defenders lower legs which are much harder to protect. Reality is that if they were inside the castle walls it was pretty much game over anyway. Check the shadiversity video about it

The idea that a castle wall went up and down like []_[]_[] etc is again a mistake, why expose your troops to arrow fire every time they pass the gap, these used to have wooden infill that could open out fire from drop rocks etc and then close back up. The woods just rotted away

I've lived in a 7 bunker base before, it's genuinely just not fun to play in a base with more than like 2 bunkers. Past 2 every bunker you make heavily inconveniences you and past like 5 the base become nearly unliveable. Doing 10+ actually sounds so unfun
