@@jaydenmay4255 that's preposterous. He literally left 30+ seconds of ball time wasted on the ground the 2nd round.
He's actually guarding the ball while slaying. Meanwhile his team is dicking around in other parts of the map or being dead. That being said, he could have held the ball more while "guarding" it alone without any teammates or enemies around.
@@mairuzo that's my point. In no circumstances when theres another option should this guy be holding the ball. He is amazing with his skills. But he must grab it during lulls if theres none to grab in his steid.
There was a moment he wiped 3 enemy’s giving him 8-10 seconds of ball but decided to “protect” instead

There's barely any aim assist was easier in H3 with the slower movements

This is why you won the qualifier! You went straight Super Saiyan mode at 7:13 when you flew back up for that kill. The disgusting slide to no scope at 19:32 was dirty too.

it's a self ego stroke. "IM literally the best slayer so by default I have to only kill and displace the enemy."
people don't understand this is a team game, fortnite has softened this generations team play skills.
believe it or not, killing randomly just to kill can cause players to put themselves in poorer positions.
for example: lets say he and another mate try and go around the right side of the map to get behind the enemy who's going green or top mid. he pushes fast bc hes aggressive but teammate is not. he goes up and gets double teamed, he fires at one but thr second enemy circles back to defend, but because his team mate is more passive, they overwhelm his teammate while he tries to clean up his mess, he created. since he basically baited his own teammate, it puts the enemy team in a superior advantage/position, since they can now counter the right side, they push, knowing they downed his team mate. they overwhelm him and reverse the rotation. keeping the ball the whole time.
he thinks bc hes amazing, (he is skilled yes) then everyone has to converge on him when he puts himself in sticky situations. this messes the flow of the team and the rearrangement causes them to die since they have to focus on where hes at, protecting him, instead of working as a team.
knowing their places, strengths and weaknesses, and knowing when to advance and push the enemy to rotate the ball, is what increases chances for a win. not focusing on killing without much attention to objective.
experience: was a four star general in halo 3 and played lan MLG tourneys back in the day.
I'm not as good as he is slayer wise, but my situational and objective awareness is more adept. yes slaying has it's place, but at high level, everyone on your team can fill that roll when needed. not doing it indefinitely and complain when your team dies because they cant kill as effective as you.
@@robosing225 locking down lanes and angles and cleaning up the map for your team is way more impactful than playing obj if ur on a hot streak like lucid was. Plus its a ranked match not an hcs lan so he's obviously just running around and not playing like a scrim. plus he wouldve still had upwords to 60 if he had scrap time

Been playing since Halo Reach, didn’t stop thru halo 4 and definitely not halo 5 which is actually the best halo in my opinion. This old skool gameplay they went back to is not bad at all tho. I’ve been stuck at Diamond 5 but before that I was shredding leaderboards. I started at platinum 2 I believe.
i enjoy the time to talk to people who've played and enjoyed 5. I'm an og. started playing lan matches with halo:CE. enjoyed 2 and did the best in halo 3.
it's interesting how because I got so connected with halo 3. halo 4 and 5 was just a let down. totally killed my will to enjoy the game. I feel like 4 was slightly easier. so maybe thats why I didnt like it much, who knows. that's cool that they're your favorite versions. glad to see the were still appreciated. ggs bro.
on a side note, I actually enjoyed destiny 1s pvp even tho it was super unbalanced. (spells, ultras, weapons that were op) then destiny 2 dropped and I couldn't stand it.
now infinite is here, I'm starting to enjoy the tactical, team based, skill heavy shooter that halo once was.
Dude that happened to me with the heatwave the other day. Unloaded two shots and one where at least some of the light pellets hit and I DIED. 4:07

I don’t watch much gameplay for games, but Halo has been my favorite shooter since CE so I watch Halo gameplay and you are built entirely different

When you were talking about cheaters I completely agree. Their aim is too good but there movement is trash. There’s this Battlefield 4 player that I like to watch named Sab3lo who everyone says is a cheater because he has ridiculous aim and he gets 100 kills a game, but his movement and map knowledge is ridiculous too so I really don’t think he’s a cheater. If someone is cheating you can just tell.

You cant “just tell”. There are hacks and scripts now a days that are minuscule and almost undetectable that doesnt make you a aimbot demon. literally modes in the cheat applications that have “legit mode or streamer mode” that makes your aim look legit lol. It just cranks the assist and sticky aim up so your aim is cracked but youd never know.
Plus cronuses and strikepacks are still a thing yall they did not go away and they are not patched !!!!

First time playing Halo since I was like 8, got placed at diamond 2 on PC, really excited for this game. What tips can you give to someone that is new to Halo in general?

Crosshairs placement, movement, and map placement are usually the main keys to halo
Learn how to combo weapons like pulse pistol and battle rifle etc. if you mix up your weapons it can be effective and use grenades
From what I experienced in diamond, it's almost impossible to derank or lose anything significant, meter decreased like 1 mm. Not trying to be cocky or anything, but I think the grind to Onyx is gonna be easier than something crazy like Radiant in Valorant.

I switched to controller when I couldn't understand why I was getting stomped, accuracy went from 30%ish on average up to 60% the very next game.
Was struggling to get 10 kills and now consistently get over 20.
Never have I seen an fps in my 30 years that controller makes you better until infinite haha

@@Tarteh he died after the killcam expired. The enemy could’ve been ANYWHERE in that fields/camo lane by enemy base. It’s super sus that Luciid hit two perfect nades right at the guys feet not knowing where he was. Who’s to say the enemy could’ve been closer to the entrance to tunnel?

The heatwave has a problem for sure. If you shoot someone close and they melee you it's instant death. Makes no sense.

A lot of you are mad about him complaining about his teammates. He's complaining about FUNDAMENTALS of Halo competitive play in oddball, not Chess-brained positioned, no set-up complaints. Literally fundamentals. Staying alive, putting in shots, picking/dropping ball to help team. This has been around forever. If you've played enough of the game to be at the upper ranks, you should 100% know these things and if not you don't deserve your rank.

What sensitivity, acceleration etc do you use ? Also what button layout do you use? I have an elite controller with 4 back paddles so if u do too what's your setup. I'm brand new to halo would appreciate the advice.
I'm not him, but I'll say for the most part it's up to what you prefer but some things to know are you shouldn't be on anything besides max acceleration, and I would lower your deadzones, for reference I play recon, my paddled controller broke and I run max sens, currently diamond 4

For those of you that don’t get it, every team has a slayer and lucid is arguably the best player in the world (the best IMO). You literally have a worse chance of winning with Lucid holding the ball cause if you think you’ll outslay him you’re crazy 😂

Feel like the registration can be very inconsistent in this game. One match you’ll shoot them directly in the head when they’re one shot and them not die, another match you’ll shoot like their shoulder barely on them and it’s a headshot. Gets frustrating

Yep. It's the worst feeling when someone who is getting wrecked can still make you look bad because nevermind the aim assist they will have, there's the bullet magnetism that will 100% guarantee they win the engagement if they see you first
I heard there’s some issues with PC players using controller. I guess the game sometimes registers both the mouse and controller and affects the aim/shooting.

72 Kills with controller aim bot, literally 99% AI, 1% human input, in the most controller favoured game to date, very nice.
A buddy on my team is 1912 ONYX on Knm and 1780 in crossplay. Gives controller players a run for their money. Ur just not good enough to compete.

Halo rank is a joke, getting to onyx isn't even that hard lol, you gotta grind for it but in halo rank, you don't even lose much rank for losing or playing bad, as long as you play well, not even winning, you will get to onyx by just grinding, not by being extremely skilled.
