My mother worked at Tupperware a for a while in the mid-1950s preparing product for presentation and distribution at parties. I bought lots of Tupperware products in the mid-1970s. I still have some that I am using.
I spent over $200 on new modular mates in the past year to make my storage space more efficient. I see nowhere in the product description is it explained that that style of Tupperware does not seal one's food in the container. So, when I tried to store several hundred dollars of freeze dried food in the new containers, I was heartbroken that all the food spoiled due to the containers not sealing out moisture. The sealing thing is what made Tupperware famous. What changed to make their product worse than containers from dollar stores? Sometimes I just shake my head and wonder if anyone that sells products in the USA cares anymore. It is for sure a sign that a company is on its way to closing due to lack of satisfied customers.
I just started to buy Tupperware again. They call it "marrying" when you put the top of the piece and the lid in hot water. Then you take them out and put them together. When they cool, it's a perfect fit.
I sell Tupperware I haven’t had a problem they are the same. But I did read just a few weeks ago about freeze dried food it’s diffrent look around on RUclips I can’t remember all I think it was a grandma site but it says to go back and shake your freeze dried food you have to make sure there isn’t moisture in the food itself. Yes if you dump in freeze dried food it’s only good for so long and you have to check it, I use to freeze dry so I’m thinking of starting again then read that. It’s not the containers it’s the moisture in the food. That’s why people use those little packets to help get the moisture out.
I sell it because I love the products, they give us a 25% discount, we samples for cheaper, and my team sends out prizes for meeting goals. I just do it because I love the product. I don't make a lot of money and it doesn't bother me!
It is not a pyramid scheme. It is just a "middle man" type of marketing/selling, just like Avon, Mary Kay, Fuller Brush, etc. It is a way to be sure the consumer knows how to use the item and understands its value.
They don't answer the IMPORTANT question: WHAT is the Material? is it safe for humans (proved by INDEPENDENT studies)? does it leak out endocrine disruptors? the rest ist just unimportant.....
Not true, Tupperware has been transparent about the ingredients to each product in the product descriptions and it can be looked up. They are also transparent about the fact that it was not BPA free until the late 90s as it wasn't a worry for people--including companies prior to studies coming out. I sell the product and do not worry about leaching like I do with Rubbermaid etc. You can tangibly FEEL the difference
Why do we need more plastic in this world why do we need to have more items that we consume and some of these end up in the recycle bin and how many times can they be recycled there's a limit to being recycled people have to know that look it up on the internet

The only turn off for me is the way they decided to sell the product. I have great dislike for Pyramidal marketing and people involved in it.
