Soucek is better with the ability to play in the box, for me as a 2nd CF he could get 10-15 goals this season and after last year you know it's true

@@billymanley2298 because he isn't useless he just useful in different ways for different games and would you really turn down the potential of 10-15 more goals? If hes able to roam a bit thats the chance he can create, no hes not a tippy tap passing midfielder but Soucek is still a good player and has a great eye for goals, was far better than Antonio Sat and as much as I feel Hulkrug lol is going to help and get goals help up front us never a bad thing, I don't get why a lot of people are so damn negative we have players that certain games are better in slightly different positions
@@MrBzlezl he doesnt create space, he is taking up the space our striker we just signed should be in. Then cant get back because how slow he is. Dont get me wrong he is good in both boxes. But unfortunately theres 70 yards between where he is genuinely the worst player in the prem. and we sacrifice so much by playing him. He completed 10 passes vs Villa. As a midfielder that's unacceptable at any level. Get him out get fullkrug where soucek is. Get another midfielder where a midfielder should be. Amd we are instantly a way better, more balanced side. SOUCEK OUT

I think the players also need to use revenge as incentive and motivation too because the 5-2 loss there last season wasn't that long ago, I'm sure it'll be raw and fresh in their minds still so I'm sure they will be determined to put that right and avoid any kind of repeat so hopefully if they do apply this mindset, we can be victorious on Saturday #COYI ⚒️⚒️⚒️

Or he's humble and knows how good Palace looked the 2nd half of last season. Even their game against Brentford last week they looked the better team even though they lost they played some really good football.

Our posession increased massively against Villa. I think more new players will come in for this game like Fullkrug and Sommerville. I remain positive and patient.

They beat us 5-2 last time, anything better than that is an improvement. Need to back this manager and give him and the new players time. He inherited one of the oldest and smallest squads in the league, that despite starting well last season, were right down the bottom of the form table towards the end. We conceded 74 goals and the football was dreadful, always sitting back and letting teams practice their attack against us and allowing them to grow into games. The squad has massively improved but if they’re not quite ready to start due to lack of training/match fitness, it’s not good for anyone’s confidence if they are thrown in. Look at Rodriguez, a world cup and Copa America winner and he struggled a bit. He only started because Alvarez couldn’t and I’m sure he’ll be better at Palace, but imagine just chucking in 8 new players that haven’t played competetively together against one of the highest finishing sides in the toughest league in the world! I’d love to see Todibo, AWB, Summerville and Fulkrug start, I think they’re ready fitness wise, but it might take time for them to understand each other and the other players around them (Kudus Bowen, Pacqueta, Killman etc). I think we’ll get a result but if we don’t, just remember the boys of 86 lost their first 6 games!! COYI⚒⚒⚒

Have to fight every game this season. No excuses. I'd even suggest forgetting the EFL tournament. We need to get European football next season. Plenty of time to rest players. The tactics and mindset need to be on point.

Depends really, they'll all be at different fitness levels so some will still be doing bits of pre season fitness work and not be doing any game training with the first team. Can't be starting players that haven't trained or up to speed.
