Hmmm EK PF sounds nice. I loved my EK witch in Kalandra but hated hoy squishy it was.
How does the ethereal knife gem change affect the poison Pathfinder build? Still viable or?

He put it in like D tier or something. Play it if you want cos it still works. He just hates it like he hates TR.

Circle enchant and nimis are not the same at all. And returning proj for poison nerfed. Still would pick EK tho xD
I loved poison ek when I played it and didnt put much more than 15 div into it. Cleared really well and had a TON of room to improve.
Played it with 100 divine invest in the last league. Was decent but never enough to kill Ubers comfortable with it. There are better builds out there
@@m.h.4907 with that investment you should have atleast hit dot cap for ubers, unless most of that was spent on the 75 divine+ impossible escape 😆 but I don't bother with users so I'm not sure how even at cap it would feel, it was Def a mapping machine and ate up the other mechanics.
@@ZeldaxLegacy Dot cap was easily reached. The issue with this build are the overall defensive layers, I improved it even further with progenisis and atziris for leech on top. Evasion builds are too unreliable imo, even when you run them with spell cap and leech.
@@m.h.4907 yea it was the same with poison bv, flasks become very important. I took life on flask use as well as life on killing a poisoned enemy, but that only helps in mapping. Wouldn't be good for bossing but if my life dipped in maps it jumped back up very quickly.
@@m.h.4907 There is no way you are fr, if you truly reached dot cap every boss would literally melt... I have dot cap on poison arakaali's and I could do ALL ubers with just block.... there are no other defences at all(except life flask and 4k life), I even struggled in simulacrum more than on ubers. Truly sounds like a skill issue, sorry.

3.22 spreadsheet is for the 3.22 league. There were tattoo's in that league and in affliction there wont be. I wouldn't look at that spreadsheet.
i just built a 95 lvl version in std and its is good, feels a lil better than exang but the problem is es. i literally constantly run out of it on bosses. have 720 es. what would you recommend?
I would ask in rue's discord "poe stuff only" channel if someone else is facing same issues or ask rue in stream. I haven't played EK. You can also look at the other tree/skills/items in the PoB to get some inspiration. I will try and remember to ask rue later, maybe I can come back at you

this build still good after Returning Projectiles nerf?
It's weaker but good enough for rue to recommend it as a starter build.
GGG decided to sneak in a nerf for EK, how hard does it hit us? 🤔
There are 2 nerfs to EK this league that I know of:
the return projectiles was applying ailment 100% and with the bugfix its like 40% now iirc ("Fixed a bug where Projectiles from Skills supported by Returning Projectiles were only dealing less Damage with Hits while Returning. They now also deal less Damage with Ailments while Returning.")
EK not being duration tag anymore means that when you double corrupt for +4 chest, you cant roll for +2 to duration gems anymore

Leaves 50% fewer Lingering Blades in the ground if you don't Cast this Spell yourself
Leaves a Lingering Blade in the ground for every 3 Projectiles fired

Maximum 40 Lingering Blades can be left in the ground at a time
Did these changes kill the build?
The only change you will really feel from this list is the projectile speed which rue said you can just invest into.
It losing the duration tag means that you wont be able to roll for +2 duration gems as double corrupt
They just released the part 4 of gem reveals and there is a lingering blades variant which has the duration tag and u could swap that for bosses if u manage to get +2/+4 chest also u could try the new hit based soulrend on bosses which has 400% effect of added dmg.
But EK circle enchant is gone right?

I’d bet large sums of money that one of the trans gems will let EK fire in a circle no way that just goes away
Well its gonna be still runnable without circle, back to cone. Circle is gone for basicly anything anyways
@@madhatten5123 They already said EK's alternate gem would be about blades lingering. That would mean EK would have 3 skills gems, yet they claimed to only have 200 gems ready for 3.23, so one skill having 3 gems of its own would be surprising. I hope you're right though...
@@madhatten5123 they took the leveling gem away making spark fire in a circle... wouldnt be the craziest thing ggg has done sadly
