So nice to catch up with you IRL and now on RUclips! The meadow tank looks great on you Kat! Your hair and makeup also looks so fab. 😍 Can’t wait to see how your Cala top looks on 😊
Good to see you 😊 I have got the Meadow Tank top in my favourites on Ravelry and will be purchasing it soon the pattern looks very pretty 🤩 The blue colour looks very nice on you.
I was so excited to see you on my RUclips today! I enjoyed it very much. I had to look up the Cala Galdana Summer Top and it is now on my Summer knitting list. We are at the tail end of Winter here in the middle of the states. ❤
Aww, thank you! Cala Galdana is lovely, unfortunately we've had the most crummy summer ever so I haven't gotten to wear it. But I'm looking forward to having it for next year 😄
I'd be really keen for that video on helical knitting. I would love to use some handdyed yarn for a garment in future, but I'm nervous about pooling so I've refrained so far.
The meadow tank is a lovely design ❤️ very much enjoyed the episode whilst knitting bobbles on my Wavecrest WIP. First time doing bobbles. Fun but slow.
@@OliphantKat I used the instructions in the pattern 🤣🤣 but no turning of the work involved which was good. They are slow going glad there was only the one row.
Hi Kat, I've just recently found you here on RUclips. I am located in rural Victoria so it's lovely to listen to someone who has an Aussie accent. Would you know of any other Aussie yarn content on RUclips? I have searched but have only found a very small number of Aussie fibre enthusiasts. I am both a knitter and crocheter and am interested in trying both drop spindle and wheel spinning in the future. I hope you continue with the podcasts as I think they're awesome. 😊

@@sarahgregory6014 There's also The Grey Nomad Knits, Rose Hip Island, Passioned Flower and The Obsessive Maker. Fruity Knitting and Kel Knits are aussies living overseas and podcasting. A couple from New Zealand - A Cup of Tea and a Yarn (one of the presenters is australian) and Unwind and Knit With Me.
@@OliphantKat my bad, I just looked it up lol. A UFO is a WIP that you temporarily stop working on, abandon, or neglect. I suppose that doesn't apply here 😅
@@TS-ge9lv Oh! Makes sense, nice to know the difference. Although to be honest these terms are all so flexible, I recon you should use it however you want 😄

Thanks Skye! What method did you use to make the bobbles? I still haven't found one that I actually like 😬

I'd consider the top as a UFO: Unfinished Object. I forgot whose podcast I heard that term on, but it felt right
Ooh I've heard that term but I just thought it meant the same thing as WIP! Do you differentiate them somehow?

To me an FO is really finished...done, as in you put it on and wear it. Jacki
Yay, good to know it's not just me who thinks that way 😄
