Just received mine in the mail today. £210 paid in the last Ali sale and managed to avoid customs duties. Honestly this is just San Martin showing off now. I've always thought their finishing was essentially perfect but they some how stepped it up a notch. It says everything that I received a Tudor black bay chrono in the mail yesterday and I was still blown away by the San Martin.
Great review , thank you. I ordered the same blue colourway because I thought it looked like a possible gem from San Martin and you have confirmed everything I thought will be receiving mine soon 🤞
As they're stepping up their game, I find nyself wishing sometimes that they would come up with soekthing that truly draws me in. I feel like I'm fine not being a San Martin customer. It's similar to Erebus in that regard. It's undeniable value, not badly designed, but I miss soul, spirit and connection
I like how thin it is, the case and dial are really nice. But the bracelet isn't the best. It is really sharp on the edges so not looking the best between links and also not the most comfortable. The SN0129 bracelet is much better. The absolute best would be if they make this case (thanks to the thin movement), but with the 129 lugs and bracelet. Dial is nice, color matched date wheel also.
Wish SM would put it on a BOR bracelet. Oyster bracelet is the worst bracelet due to sizing and looks. That clasp has to go. Why the hell SM put a diving clasp on a sport watch? That clasp is so long that it makes up half of the bracelet! Lol.
BOR would be nice, true. I am fed with oysters. But the clasp, well it's much nicer that the old one with side screws. It is long, but so are the Christopher Ward clasps on sport watches and they are fine. It doesn't look so nice, but it helps with positioning the watch in the middle if you wear it a bit loose. The logo sucks in my opinion and the name too, it's plain stupid. I believe Chinese should be proud of their heritage and the quality of products they make. So, they could use some Chinese name which would sound nice for the rest of the world too.
You must have excellent eyes if you can see the logo well enough for it to bother you other than in a seriously magnified shot. Clearly I am getting old.
Oh no. Glidelock is a terrible clasp system. Same as Easylink. Rolex garbage. The only good glidelock is the one on a sea dweller. The standard submariner one is no good. Flips open when on wrist.

How do you like the bracelet design?
£210!?!? You lucky son of a mother! Which dial did You get?
Can't wait for my Aliexpress package this year!
That dial is superb, nice to see them making original designs 👌👍
Wow. I do wish these had quick release spring bars though. Other than that, the watch is amazing.
I'll never remove the bracelet to be honest.
This looks like a strap monster though. Are you getting the other colors?
My orange dial arrives tomorrow - cant wait.
Did it arriwe? Are You happy with it?
Reminds me of the Monta Noble but at a much lower price point. How does it compare to that (much more expensive watch)?
Different movements, very similar level of build quality
Great review , thank you.

Excellent, thanks very much 👍
What watches have you reviewed that you would put above this? This looks nuts for the price
There is pretty much nothing less than $1,000 USD that I can think of.
It looks really nice on the wrist
I think so too!
Hopefully they use the 9075 soon!
I want that colourway. But now I'm thinking about SN004 V2 gilt
I do really like this one. Only gripe is the hands.
I don't mind them tbh
How does this compare to the Erebus Ascent that you had just reviewed? The specs and even some of the style are remarkably similar.
Probably made in the same factory.
@@frankdirscherl2345 literally same factory, SM cutting their own customer with Erebus
San Martin SN0144-GX build quality is better, in my opinion, especially the bracelet and clasp.
@@ZaltekReviews this SM is a cut above their own, usual fare.
@@ZaltekReviews thanks so much for your reply and the excellent video!

Thanks for your feedback 🙏
Makes me want a tiffany OP
Waiting for all black enamel dial
If this had dauphine hands and twisted lugs it would be unstoppable
Blue sold out buddy
Boooooo!!!!!!!’
Im wondering if this is basically the same bracelet like on the SN0130?
Looks similar, I can't confirm though, as I've not reviewed the SN0130.
Niceeee!! Can’t wait for mine to
The official SM store just bumped up their prices in anticipation of the 11/11 sale shady tactic IMO.
Hence why I always use Watchdives for San Martin watches.

I think this bracelet is better and more refined.
Is this watch good for a 17 cm wrist?
Yup, same size as mine 👍
dollar for dollar, nothing touches San Martin, wish they made more like this around 41mm though.
Their first official shot across the bow of the microbrand world. This is officially everything that Nodus or Henry Archer can offer but $200 less!
SN0144 -GX vs SN0129B ?
SN0144-GX is the best San Martin I've reviewed
@@ZaltekReviews 🤗
@@ZaltekReviews Ty Mr, me i have SN0106-G3
🤩
What a jewel
I just ordered one. Thanks for the code.
Wrist size?
As I stated in the video, it's 6.75in
Very nice. Specs are great. Colors are good, but the texture/design on dial ruins it for me. It would make a great gift
Fair enough!

It's the perfect choice clasp in my opinion. I certainly would not pick a butterfly clasp!
It has a really large range of on-the-fly adjustment.
:)
the dial is gorgeous but never will I want to have that ugly logo
The logo is fine in my opinion

@@craiggreeson2614 thank you, indeed my eye caught the ugly logo straightaway. I don't want a comic style logo in any watch I own.
