- A Guide on How To Set Up an OP COMBAT ARCHER Build on Legendary Difficulty. This character makes use of the Archery, Light Armor, Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchanting skills. Played on Skyrim the special edition, no mods were installed during the playthrough and the game was played entirely on Legendary Difficulty.
An archer build without the use of sneak or followers on legendary difficulty.
All items used to construct the house were bought from the blacksmiths / general store in Whiterun and the logs were purchased from Hod in Riverwood however you can also cut your own to save gold.
Constructing the Smelter, Grindstone, Workbench, Alchemy Lab and Arcane Enchanter are not required for the build, however levelling up becomes a lot more convenient having access to them.
Perks in order of purchase: | 2 Overdraw 1/5 | 3 Eagle Eye | 4 Alchemist 1/5 | 5 Alchemist 2/5 | 6 Physician | 7 Powershot | 8 Benefactor | 9 Poisoner | 10 Overdraw 2/5 | 11 Overdraw 3/5 | 12 Alchemist 3/5 | 13 Overdraw 4/5 | 14 Agile Defender 1/5 | 15 Novice Alteration | 16 Apprentice Alteration | 17 Magic Resistance | 18 Alchemist 4/5 | 19 Enchanter 1/5 | 20 Enchanter 2/5 | 21 Enchanter 3/5 | 22 Enchanter 4/5 | 23 Enchanter 5/5 | 24 Insightful Enchanter | 25 Corpus Enchanter | 26 Steel Smithing | 27 Dwarven Smithing | 28 Elven Smithing | 29 Advanced Armors | 30 Glass Armor | 31 Extra Effect | 32 Alchemist 5/5 | 33 Fire Enchanter | 34 Frost Enchanter | 35 Storm Enchanter | 36 Quick Shot | 37 Dragon Armor | 38 Overdraw 5/5 |
Perks after this can be invested however you like.
Final Stats: Level 39
Magicka 200 | Health 330 | Stamina 150 | All before buffs from Equipment or Standing Stones.

can i ask a question? how many hours did you play skyrim? and I love u
Fevvvvy what is your favorite build you made
@@bryceg73 I want to ask the same question 😂
Road to 100k!
Dude you're awesome!
*this man is too strong, he resisted the urge to become stealth archer even after joining the brotherhood*
Hahaha
Most definitely. And 2/3 of my characters eventually become vampires, actually I never did a second quest of the dawnguard..
@@LuizCarlosAlvesdoNascimento I still need to do a Paladin or Healer build and do Dawnguard side. Well, I've started few paladins. but it just feels like a warrior until you get restoration up to useful levels and get good offensive spells. Until then you're just a healer with a shield...
@@azraelselvmord3650 you guys have done other builds? Breh I’m so hell bent I’m doing everything (or trying) I only just finished the main game and 2 dlcs 2 months after I get the game
I think I have the opposite problem. I almost always end up as an unga bunga warrior whenever I play.
“Fletching suits me. It’s difficult and sometimes tedious, but a well-made arrow strikes forth like the fury of a god”

If you crouch even once, this just becomes another Sneak Archer build.
Its like an infection that spreads through your entire body and you can’t stop it.
This build is BS, an Orc wouldn't be able to cast the bound bow spell without leveling conjuration
@@Mr.aAdDies Not true, you just need to invest your initial stats into Magicka until 190, cost 183 to cast.
@@fjcollinsjr.5520 So what ur saying is that to become an OP COMBAT ARCHER it's important 2 Level ur magicka high enough to cast the bound bow spell?? And even if that is true, Why is there all that alchemy and enchanting yet no mention of the perks or leveling of conjuration needed to cast an adept level spell??
@@Mr.aAdDies day Yes to your first question. You still don't need adapt conjuring, all that does is lower the cost of that spell which is not required once you get to the conjure bow spell (around lvl 10/11).
Favour the bow, eh? I'm a sword man, myself.

We need an op chef build who uses fork and knife, has namira's ring, and is a master alchemist. And it also could be an orc or an argonian
Knife is for searing meat and fork is for consuming flesh. Fire damage and Health Absorb. Only chef clothes
The ultimate chef would be a werewolf with a ring of namira. Eat people all day
On one of my saves I have a fork with a Absorb Health that can one shot anything

If Teldryn isn't in the video, a fevvy impostor made this.
And that one thalmor and flawless emerald too.

Actually some guy on the last video said it wasn't impressive because I used followers, had to do this one without
@@Fevvy You're always impressive to me, followers or not. You play on Legendary difficulty... Enough said.
@@Fevvy eh don't listen to those nitpickers, you're vids are still impressive with or without followers
A tip for character builders is that the companions will train you for free just like Fandel would when you finish the questline. I hardly hear anyone talk about it, but you can get up to 75 archery, one-hand, and block along with 90 Heavy armor and two-hand. Best take advantage at lower levels.
Thanks 2 years latet!!
**big note** doesn't work on unofficial patch
If you’re out of ideas, you should make a “god of lighting, Thor” build!
He already made one
Look up his battlemage build
You can actually get the ancient assassins armor really early on easily. Just get the ritual stone and ress him through the wall to your right in the first room with the hag and the long table right as you enter the place he's at. Then just exit and he'll be following you. Kill him and grab his armor
Not work for me
@@aelren do you have the unofficial patch mod installed? That might be your problem.

I've been grinding hard and I finally finished this build. It was the first time I crafted my character before playing missions, and let me tell you, It was refreshing!! It was a completely new way for me to play a game I've been playing since launch, exactly 2 months away from 10 years today! Fevvy, thank you so much! My favorite part has to be how little the bow consumes its enchantment via your implementafion of fortify destruction. What a find! I always knew how important Smithing, Enchanting, and Alchemy are to this game, but you absolutely streamlined the whole method. I look forward to enjoying this build throughout this playthrough, but I'm very excited to have learned the best and most time effective method to master the essentials of this game for future playthroughs! Thank you for everything Fevvy!
Been here since Two-Handed build, never regretted it.
Thanks for sticking around!
@@Fevvy I've been here since your first build one-handed early

No Teldryn.
Mans did this ALL HIM; BY HISSELF.

Now if we can only get him to use hadvar more often I'll be truly happy.
Hadvar is not a follower and Sadly neither is big daddy ralof
@@teaghendemarco3923 that's not what I meant in the intro for the game when you pick who to follow through the keep at halgen. 90 percent of the time he chooses Ralof instead of Hadvar most of the time.
Dude I accidentally left the Dragonstone quest til after I hit level 30 and had to deal with a draugr deathlord and died 11 times via one shots.
oh dear....
On level 30 ?
yep, instead of doing bleak falls I leveled up a bunch in smithing etc
I don't remember this comment.
Thank you Talos for sending us a dinasour dovakhiin at 2020
I'm still waiting for merch so I can have my own fevvy dinosaur plushie
I would love to do this!
@@Fevvy i can imagine you do :D
Alternatively, instead of expending points in light armor you can go towards ebony smithing and do the quests to be able to forge stalhrim tools and armor. They have a higher armor rate, they're still light armor and, with the chaos enchant bows are op.
This do the alteration perk trick to get the perks required
AHHH YESS! ANOTHER BLESSING FROM THE LEGEND HIMSELF
I get a few words wrong it's because my English is not perfect being Italian but I wanted to tell you that you are great keep it up.

@@FevvyThank you so much keep it up
Ive been binge watching your builds videos, and my favorite part of them is when i see your little avatar celebrating. Its the cutest thing
the trick he does with fendal when he buys archery training then gets his gold back from trading with him doesn't work with the unofficial Skyrim patch
Pain
There's a mod to bring that future right back, it's a different one than the guy above me said tho
It worked with me I did it fairly recently
It works for me. I use this trick with the companions to level my other skills also. (I play on ps4 with the unofficial skyrim patch mod installed)
Wow that's just make it unrealistic considering that you're doing a faendal a favor,so if you train with him he should be giving it for free(take your gold back in his inventory)
The amount of minmaxing, and the sheer knowledge you have of this game always amazes me. I probably done 30+ playthroughs and I still learn new stuff from your vids. Please keep em coming, it's really inspiring
Just as a tip, if you're looking for more gold, then you can clear out Kolskegger mine in the Reach. Gives about 50 ore which is 25 ingots.
Last time I was this early I was still trying to cross the border.
I am literally in the middle of this exact buld
Hope it helps out!
Looks like Teldryn Sero is in quarrantine too. Did not see him this time. He is like your second mascot!
yeah he needed a break
He got lost in my playthrough so now I just have Talvas
I found this channel like a week ago and its very entertaining
i haven't been in the skyrim community for long but i feel like this may be one of the most underrated and overlooked builds! when people think of archery they think of stealth archers but this build can be super OP too! ^^
Agreed! Glad you enjoyed it
@@Fevvy :D
Trying my best to follow along this guide for my combat archer Argonian ^^ thank you for the fun videos and great builds!
Combat archer is a pretty fun build compared to the usual stealth one that keeps you mostly out of combat. I like to use slow time and shower the stronger enemies with a volley, it's so damn cool. The mod that removes confirmation for poison apply is really good for this build as it lets you stock up on poisons and assign them to your number keys to use them without interrupting the flow of combat by having to open menus.
I liked this as soon as I saw the Orc's name. And the fact it's another Fevvy special
I finally actually did one of your guides (this one of course) and I've gained a ton more respect for the amount of dedication you put into these vids. Also, can I just say I'm really happy there are still channels making awesome Skyrim content I was scared it was gonna die like 3 yrs ago but yeah I love your content a lot and keep it up :)
I dunno how to describe this, but I love your art with funny expressions, and your build is inspired me
I am so glad
Thanks for making these, man. I've said it before, but I still very much appreciate how you manage to make each video as entertaining(and damn helpful!) as the last one!
Thanks so much
I was a combat Archer when I played Skyrim then I was a stealth Archer but I always wore deadric armor with dragon bone bow. Very effective. The race I used was high elf tho. Made it work
The extra magicka on high elf is very helpful
OH MY GOD YOU ACTUALLY DID WHAT I WANTED! IM SO HAPPY YOU DID THIS!
seeing your dinosaur makes me so happy :3 thanks for making my day fevvy

Just started Skyrim again after only beating it once when it came out. It's so much fun and your guides have been so much help. Thank you!
There's extra barnacles on the right side of the shore on a small sunken ruin on your way to the Lady stone.
Been following this guide for about three days in my free time and I'm loving the build so far.
Fihada: "will you also be needing the bow that shoots rainbows"
Fevvy : *shoots an arrow to his heart*...

Everytime you upload it is such a blessing to my day
I’ve gotta ask: out of all the Skyrim builds you’ve done so far, which do you think is the strongest? I personally think it’s your dual wielding build.

Me: Oh I guess I could make a new save
YAY!!! Another incredible build! This is going to take my next Archer build to whole new levels, thank you! You got a gift in this, keep going! 😁
Yay, thank you!
You should put all the descriptions of what you are doing that you show down the bottom of the screen into a list in the info, so we can easier follow the build without constantly skipping and pausing the video. That would be very helpful
The best parts about your videos are your little dino, its so cool
So anyone else when talking to the two dead lovebirds have them fall from back out of the sky after the quest is over or it that just me?
No. That happened to me too. Lol
I really want to see this hahaha
@@Fevvy It was pretty goofy looking in that Bethesda kind of way haha
Essentially the game turns them completely invisible once they reach a certain height, and is supposed to despawn them, but sometimes the just kinda, don’t. So they fall out of the sky hitting the ground, making loud noises, then just run off.. not even together
I love the dinosaur with the vampire teeth taking the garlic at 4:19 XD
If i ever tried this build id have to unbind my sneak button, otherwise id just be a stealth archer 20 minutes in.
Can I assume 20 min is when you get your first bow?
@@iKnownot999 you get your first bow 5 minutes in, but after 15 mins of deliberately not pressing sneak, you're bound to at some point
@@This_0ne_Person I was assuming 15min for character creation
Love this guy everytime he posts a new vid it makes my day

Maybe some commentary aswell 🥺👉👈
The little dino sub at 1:47 was great. Awesome video as always!

YASSSS A NEW FEVVY BUILD VIDEO! The day is saved 😍❤️
"What did you put in this cake frosting, it's amazing"

hahahahaa
It’s the coolest thing just slowing down time, shooting one arrow at each person then watching them all drop once it runs out
Me when I see a new Fevvy video:
A surprise to be sure, but welcome one
Damn, nice one
In my 1000 hours I had no idea you could get salmon roe that way
Finally another Fevvy post 😌
Nice! Considering to try this build & to record some videos with it. Less typical build. Less boring. Just some quests and things I never done, what you did, so need to study them accurate. Every mission will be recorded in process as my video, why I want to do them. Since I'm doing missions and some other things videos, walkthroughs. Something new always means new videos. Thanks for some inspiration and ideas. Nice work!
There is an ancient saying of a wise man that says that there is only one way of playing Elder Scrolls 5: Adventures of the Stealth archer and yet Fevvy is here with a new archer
I approve
