The heat transfer between the latex tubing and the motor isn't very good. It would be much better to wrap soft aluminum or copper tubing around the motor.

some info. pretty good work; except for the high-drag, flat bottom as a result of its small size, the model will NOT cope with even Tiny waves/chop. at 14:51, did you not see that it is a GOOD idea to install control components such that they will stay mostly Dry. the location of the rudder servo was brainless; the servo Could be located Anywhere. if you think a (very) short pushrod is a good pushrod, you are wrong. at 16:12, bad rudder pushrod design. the bends at the rudder-side are tolerable. the bends at the servo-side are NOT. bad control configuration. linkage should form a PARALLELOGRAM. in other words, when the servo and rudder are centered, the servo ARM should be Centered, and Parallel to the axis of the motion of the thruster/diverter. googletranslate
