  • Yo!
I, spur of the moment, decided to make a short drill tutorial for helping build strength, coordination, and confidence for roll ups on straps. I hope you find this video informative, useful, and helpful! Please let me know what you think in the comments!
If you're interested in this kind of material, have anything you want help with learning or improving, please let me know that as well, and I can look into making a tutorial for those as well.
    Enjoy!

Hi Alex, I am doing research for a project and am trying to learn the name of the roll up that is done at the hips, where the artist himself rolls up and the straps cover his hips. It has a really cool drop, the best IMO, but I'm not sure if it's called a hip roll up, a donkey roll, a flag roll, or a tummy roll up. Would you happen to know the technically correct name of this specific roll up? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I've heard it called all of those names. I think it depends on where you are in the world, but the roll up itself is the same.
For example, Flag is sometimes called a Reverse Meathook. Both the same skill, but the name is different depending on location/culture

@@alexsterling739 Thank you so much, Alex. I truly appreciate it. Would you happen to know what this skill is most often called in the United States?
