I knew the musicians immediately by their sound, but Amel's voice was new to me I thought I was hearing wrong. I kept saying wait, that's Sade but it's not Sade it's Sade but who is singing I was brain stuck. Then I saw the video and was relieved to see why I was right and wrong at the same time. Helen's cameo blew me away. Amel's voice is masterful and the band has always been incredible. By the way I named my firstborn Sade Mia. 37 years ago.

What I love about Amel Larrieux, well of course she's beautiful, and I love her singing style, and how she makes nice smooth songs with a nice groove to it where everybody can chill and dance. Omg and the way she plays with her notes in the song! Yes! I love the way she rolls her notes. I will never forget her voice, it stands out so much, and she just so different. I truly love this amazing singer. :)

Smooth Euro hits playing in the background. This. DjKool. Sweetback. Mantronix. the sounds of glasses chattering. In my hand a glass of French Cognac. Sweet. Smooth. Buttery and a hint of lime. It was that lit.
