Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro, i am looking forward to the new & same design with better internals. Familarity with better specs and new software features is more than enough for an upgrade.

I recently got the iPhone 15 pro max because I wasn’t ready to go to to the pro size (old eyes) but did not want to go to the 6.9” screen in the 16 pro max. I need a little bit of bezel for accidental bumps, as well. (Old hands, too) 😅. I really like your videos, you answered my questions before I even had to ask them! So refreshing. 😊
When I moved from my X to my 14 pro, it felt bigger for sure. Now they are making it even bigger... I get wanting to make the big one bigger but give us (smaller phone fans) a nice comfortable size Pro phone 😢
Thats because it was bigger. but the 16 pros will be the same or smaller than your 14 pro.

@@josephpepe2607 i dont have to listen, i have the dimensions of the devices. and it's the tech channels that misrepresent the data and mislead viewers into thinking the 16 pros will be significantly larger.

Moved up to my first ever Pro Max last year when the 15PM got a little thinner and lighter than its predecessors. They always seemed a bit too big for me before. If the 16 Pro Max is any bigger I would probably have to go back to the Pro, sadly.
What’s your experience so far with the Pro Max compared to the regular Pro’s?
Same! I have the 15 pro max and that’s my absolute max as I had a galaxy s22 ultra before and that thing is way too big.
Battery life has been rough for me over the past few years. Hoping it actually gets better this time around!
Not exactly if you have anything above iPhone 12 you can very well get at least a full day battery life

After the 13 series things went downhill.
I was about to upgrade this year from my regular 12, but given that Apple might reveal a thinner, redesigned 17 Ultra next year, i will wait until those rumors consolidate.

I game on my iPhone a lot, so a bigger display is ALWAYS good, but i really hope they fix the rattling USB-C Port.
I also HOPE they add a passthrough charging mode, and a vapor chamber.
Accidental swipes/clicks from holding my phone in landscape mode occur DAILY on my 15 pro max…it’s actually a real problem. Can’t imagine how bad it would be with the 16…
Apple are gonna need to introduce palm rejection, just like the iPad.
I hope there is some kind of border between the screen and the edges… something for a protective case to catch on to.
Because I’m not completely insane, I always use a case. I welcome the smallest bezel possible.
I spend almost $2000 cad on my phone and another $12 on the slimmest most naked case possible.
Dropped by phone on hard surfaces 20ish times so far. Doesn’t have a mark on it yet.

1:40 I already struggle with the iPhone 15 Pro Max's thin bezels so much. Apple's accidental touch reduction on the borders exist, but is not necessarily award-winning. I'm concerned they won't be committed to improving the software behind it if we're indeed on the road to see 1.15mm bezels on the 16 Pro Max.

U don’t have to worry about small bezel and accidental touches bc software can be programmed to account for that
Why isn’t it then? The 15 pro has already bezels that interfere with use. Just give us a dead zone around the edge of the screen and we won’t complain.
Bezels are needed for phone cases. They can always use palm rejection technology. But it's no fun if your case is covering part of your screen.
Can we get them to perform normally under extreme heat? So annoying being outside during the summer and having a lagging phone

I am upgrading from the iPhone 12 Pro Max snd am hoping to notice a significant battery upgrade
We’re past the point where bezels are still wide enough for fingers to grip a phone without touching the screen. So reducing the bezel at this point will make no difference at all on that front. But I get that you had to try to find a counterpoint even if I think you weren’t really buying your own counterpoint.
I’m actually looking forward to the 6.9 inch iPhone. I currently own a 15 PM so getting a 16 PM wont be that much of a difference in display but a slightly bigger screen would be nice. More screen space for movies, games and books. I love using my iPhone for entertainment .

What it really needs is a 3x AND 5x (or 6x) optical zoom. I find the 5x is too much zoom in most scenarios, whereas a 3x would be much more useful.
What’s going on with the audio? I’m on the old Sony XM3s and there’s something strange going on. Is the audio cleaned or something?
I wish they would get rid of dynamic island, it's useless and poorly integrated and designed ... it leaves a small space in between the display and it doesn't even work properly. They should reduce the size of notch and move it up closer to the bezel making it slimmer.
My iPhone 15 Pro Max its doing pretty well so far. No intension into upgrade to 16 until probably iPhone 19.
Thinner bezel isn't a problem when you factor in the case.

Owner of 12 Mini here, but this year I will upgrade because I can't see anything anymore on mini 😂Overall 12 mini is a great phone, but my diopter disagrees. I'm also looking forward to USB-C port. Those are two main reasons to make a switch and I will probably go for the PRO in regular size.
Perhaps Apple waits before updating the iPad Mini until the iPhone display has reached 7.9"…

Been wanting to upgrade as I still have the 11 pro max. But, haven’t seen a real reason to do so tbh. Better battery life would be the main reason along with a better camera. Been waiting for them to remove the hideous notch already.. like how long is this staying? I didn’t want to upgrade until that was changed.
I’m sure like me, people a fatigued at this point with no real technical change, multiple tiers with upper (Pro/Ultra) tiers having more features, and ever increasing costs. I feel sure the iPhone iterations are plateauing.
Hope they really bump up the specs to obligate the android side, 200mp camera for clearer res esp on zoom, bigger battery life , bigger ram, faster processor , the 2tb storage u mentioned i think its pretty impt, 1 tb is really not alot 512 ranout fast...., better phone durabilty and cooling helps also

My hope is that Apple will actually reveal to us that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have its dimensions as 6" x 3" (~6.7" diagonally), and the depth of the phone will be 5 mm. Or at least let those dimensions be for the rumored iPhone 16 Ultra. Everything else is fine.
They need to make the iphone flip that can fold into an ipad mini size (7.9")
I will let the stop going bigger when we hit a 8 inch phone. And I’ve really really wanted the 16 pro max to have a hole punch front camera. But all things considered I’m happy with the 16 pro max. And I’m 100 percent upgrading because I have a 8 plus and the batter sucks I can’t update. Etc. thank you for the straight forward video! I’d be interesting in more videos about 17 rumors as well because I believe the 17 pro max will have a hole punch that is my goal. I will never go down on screen size so I wouldn’t be into an ultra but maybe the 18 will have an ultra max with a 7.1 screen and I would 100 percent be ready for that and can’t wait if that happens
I fully support Apple giving its customers choices of sizes - but I really do think there should be 3 sizes - small, medium, large. Yes, I really, really like my 512GB iPhone 13 mini, and would love every 2 years or so for Apple to release another mini model [that is basically, feature wise, the same as the "medium" size phone - I know it would be too much to ask for a Pro mini as the battery would probably not support 3 cameras and the extra RAM, etc]. Just...3 sizes. Simple. Please?

My iphone 13 is a bit broken is it Worth it to buy a 15 pro max now or wait for 16 pro max, I don't know if I will be using any of the new features. I just want bigger display and good battery life and a 120hz screen
The iPhone 16 is about 2 and a half months away. If you can hold out for that long. you should. I have the 15 Pro Max and it's a great phone. Either way you won't be disappointed.

I hope the trend of putting new features into only the max, biggest version, doesn’t continue into the 16 pro max. I only got 15 pro max cuz I need that 5x zoom for the kind of work that I do. I hope that 5x comes into the regular 16 pro cuz I’m tired of this phone being so dam big.
Wont the AI features eat at ur ram and storage space. So if were ok with the 256 that might not cut it this year. Youl have to cof up for a 512.
You could offload all the photos to the 2TB iPad Pro and free the space on the iPhone OR just wait and get the new iPhone Pro Max in 2TB

I have iphone 14pro max bought just a year ago for over a thousand dollars and though I am hard done by for ai not coming to it but still I think its not worthy enough to upgrade just yet as overall the new one looks the same with that pill cutout which I find it disturbing while watching content on it so I will wait until apple releases a phone without any cutouts and has full screen display with new technology.
How will cases work with such small bezels?
Probable as the samsung phones that used a curved screen.

It’s time for me to upgrade my Xs, but only to 16 pro. I find the Pro max to big an heavy in front pocket.
It would be awesome to see the applications from edge to edge rather than having so much space in between. I have switched from iphone 14 max pro to Samsung s24 ultra, oh boy, the customisation is insane. Now that iPhone finally catching up, still some years behind though, maybe people will consider iPhone over Samsung. I love big phones...just so much more to see, what is not to like...watch this space

My 15PM battery is horrible…. My 13 PM battery was alottttt better than the 15. It’s crazy how bad the battery on this phone is.

iphone 15 plus best of the range easy. I returned my 1TB 15 Pro Max. Never liked the battery life and prefer 60hz screen and didnt like how HOT it got
I welcome the bigger screen size, but it was more slim like the iPhone 11
2 TB of storage is insane ... and just for perspective, that is 500 times more storage than the original iPhone. :)
