I watched this movie in theater here in the US and will make every friend and family watch it. Heart goes out to all our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Cannot even watch the incidents in the movie, how they would have gone through this. Entire theater was in tears and absolute silence at the end.
You know that mother in the last scene? She's wasn't just stripped, she was gangraped infront of everyone, sodomised, tortured, and cut in half with a saw, also they took every single girl child, raped them and converted them, Hindu's children were dissected, or raped and their mothers, wives were also raped and converted or if they didn't submit they were dissected, all this happened infront of their family, film is only 8% of reality.
I don't understand why this so called bollywood people are quiet, they behaved same in sushaant sing case n now also doing the same really shameless people, shame on them.
I apologize to my compatriots that I was not aware the extent of the violence against Kashmiri Hindus. We need to keep this topic burning and alive and need to tell our story. God bless you Vivek and Pallavi.

Personally, I cannot even watch interviews and other videos without crying... leave alone the transformative effect the actual watching of the film had. Now, we should all, as Indians, stop a few minutes, and think and imagine what it would have been for those people who actually had to go through that experience..... aankein nam hone laazmi hai, rooh ko hil jaana laazmi hai, lekin jab tak hum kuchh kareingey nahin yeh sab sirf humaara emotion hi reh jayega. Instead of putting army there, the Indian gov has placed all armies inside cities to daily harass and abuse and kill civilians. This happened to Punjabi Sikhs and Hindus in 1947. Punjab was divided and burned. Many families including mine were forced by the murderous crowd to leave with clothes on their back. Millions were hacked to death. We were not allowed to say anything against the perpetrators. Gandhi told us to get killed and not run to safety. Kashmir happened because we let 1947 happen and perpetrators paid no price, they were rewarded with all properties, homes, land Hindu and Sikhs were forced to leave.

Instead of putting army there, the Indian gov has placed all armies inside cities to daily harass and abuse and kill civilians. Army men check even goats and chickens, then how come over 1000 tons of explosion material got into the valley? Get out of kashmir . We have nothing in common with 99% of Dravidian India. Our culture, language history DNA is central Asian. Kashmir was part of Harappa for over 5000 years and Harappa is in Pakistan. Over 90% of Pakistanis are natives of the Pakistani land. Only less than 7% came from Ganga Jamuna India.

This happened to Punjabi Sikhs and Hindus in 1947. Punjab was divided and burned. Many families including mine were forced by the murderous crowd to leave with clothes on their back. Millions were hacked to death. We were not allowed to say anything against the perpetrators. Gandhi told us to get killed and not run to safety.
Kashmir happened because we let 1947 happen and perpetrators paid no price, they were rewarded with all properties, homes, land Hindu and Sikhs were forced to leave.
This also happened with muslim of Jammu in 1946.
Do not compare drop of crime with ocean of crime . It's an insult . By the way , Kashmiri Hindus land is Kashmir since time immemorial. Since when is it for Muslim of Jammu
This also happened with the Hindus of East Bengal (now called Bangladesh) several times. 1946, 1947, 1950, 1956, 1962, 1964, 1971, 1992, 2002 to 2008, 2013-14, 2021.
