learned some new stuff i didnt know about brawler and been playing this game for 8 years with all classes max level. love ur videos btw super helpful for me getting back into tera after a half year break
Thanks : ) I will make more videos for sure, but right now weekly uploads, like I used to do, are not really possible, because making these videos takes a lot if time.
@@YUKATIGaming I think you should just do video of replaying the whole story mod on 1 of your account because a lot of player struggling sometimes in quest such as my self.. I played Tera 2 years ago and I came back I been playing for 3 days straight and I'm lvl 63 but I was very confused because everything changed so I think doing a guide video from lvl1 to all the way lvl70 would be a really good help! But this is just a idea man, I believe you man 🔥
Ideas are always welcome : ) I already made a video about leveling up quickly: ruclips.net/video/wyjE8FZSc_k/видео.html The thing is, doing quests is not a good way to get to max level. You should just do quests up to level 20, then run dungeons until you're level 65. Then, from 65 to 70, you do the purple story quests, and keep running dungeons.
Your guide has helped me a lot (as I'm following everything step by step, a little complicated on the priority skill set as I'm a little slow and for paying attention to the aggro, I forget the skills and their keyboard location), but still struggling to maintain aggro on the bosses. Have died a couple of times and I never get resurrected (always have to use a strange potion that charges me 50 gold to revive me). I have the simple mahtnan gear (the one you receive on lvl 65) and have purchased earrings and a circlet with physical amplification (not super duper, but they were accessible), also using a 5 card collection with blue cards that have physical amplification + uncommon Kaia which has +1.5k physical resistance and +7% aggro. Sometimes I manage to hold the boss for a little while but immediately I lose aggro to someone else so I have to cast like nuts the skill called Provoke and still the boss doesn't pay me attention. I manage to get perfect defense most of the time, sometimes just good defense and I do it manually (because always forget I have Growing rage active). Any advice on the aggro front Yukati please? Still practicing going to lvl 65 dungeons, I don't ask you for advice on gear because for brawler class, the mythical gear set (which is my goal is way to expensive and as Gameforge ruined many ways of farming gold (I discovered that until today) well it's a "bit hard" to get to those amounts. Thank you.
I suggest that you place the most important skills where you can reach them easily. For example I have Roundhouse Kick on 1, Haymaker on 2 and One-Inch Punch on 3, since those are used most. I then just need to press 1 -> 2 -> 3 for the main combo. I then have fillers on 4 5 and 6. Rythmic Blows has long cooldown but used when off cd, so it's on F4, easy enough to use, and cd reduction of Rythmic Blows is on F3, right next to it. The point is to make the layout so that it's easy to remember. It also helps when switching between characters of different classes, for example to have dodge or skills that do a similar thing on the same button. To maintain aggro, you need to deal enough damage compared to the other people in your party. With low gear it's impossible for a new player to hold aggro just by attacking. Try using Infuriate even before you loose aggro, but make sure you still keep attacking. You should block manually once in a while to get the buff from the glyph, but most of the time you should block by timing your attacks well. That will increase your dps already and you'll draw a bit more aggro. Run the two lowest level dungeons for now and gather boxes of blue gear, you should get rid of the incomplete blue gear you got from the quest, as soon as you get a half way decent blue piece from a box (Cruel curse on weapon is nice for tanks). I'm working on a guide for the new gear, should come out in a few days. There are two versions of jewellery, one with fixed power stat, one with fixed crit factor stat. If you haven't done so, make sure all 5 pieces have the power stat rather than crit. Brawlers don't need much crit. Yes, people just expect you to pay gold to resurrect yourself. It was more fun before the paid res was a thing, but it does help avoiding wipes.
@@YUKATIGaming Thanks for the reply, now I know why I keep losing aggro. I just bought the first piece of mythical gear (the gloves) and I can't be picky on options because the prices are quite expensive and the gold farming activities are now restricted to one character per day so I do them with my valkyrie. I'm running both Akalath and Abscess and you may be happy for this, I'm using your key set, almost all of it (and I keep pressing E instead of 3 every time hahaha, been old is tough). As for jewelry I got both earrings (Strong Warlord ones) with physical amplification and also the circlet (they were accessible), ring are over 50k each (without awful options, I want them for my little brawler, too expensive). That's it for now Yukati :(
Thanks. The game is free to play, so you should definitely try it. Combat in this game is fun in general, though you only really experience the combat system completely after level 65.
@@YUKATIGaming Yeah that's usually how it works in rpgs. Early game is pretty shit and you only get the full experience at max lvl and a lot of grind :D Is brawler beginner friendly or does it need a lot of investment to work?
To really learn a class, you'll have to spend a lot of time either way, but to reach the skill for most dungeons shouldn't take too long on any class. Also, everybody has a different class that is easy to play for them. For brawler you also have to know what is important for a tank in general, since dps mode is only available after reaching level 67 I think (else it's 69). That being said, I think brawler is relatively easy to learn. Gear wise, you get a set at level 65. You replace it by gear from dungeons and you can upgrade from there. It's easy to get to the item level that lets you run any dungeons except for the 5 star (hardest) ones. I do have a gear guide as well, check that one out when you reach level 65.
Thank you so much for your guides they are pretty useful! Keep it up! More instance guides would be apreciated I know its hard work but u are doing a fantastic job! Thank you so much mu newbie brawler appreatiates eheh
Great guide. Judging by your screen I’m guessing you are in PC so the rotation mapping will be easier. I’m struggling to make it work with the Xbox controller.
Thanks : ) Yeah, I tried TERA on Xbox at a friends place once, shortly after it was released for console. I did not like the controls. What I do on PC is, move the skills around so the ones I need most often are easiest to use. Anything I need less often, or that I can use in a more calm moment, can be a bit harder to access (i.e. further away on the keyboard).
This video helped me a lot. Thank you. Are you planning on doing a reaper guide video? I'm new to the game and can't really find content about it. The discord servers are a mess if it comes to new players, unlike your guide videos.
I'm glad it's helpful : ) I do plan on making guides for other classes as well (except slayer, since there is already a good video guide). The next ones will probably be gunner and reaper, but not sure cause I'm not that good at the classes that are left. Also, I don't play TERA daily any more, so making TERA videos is slow right now, and I will start making content about other games too.
Hi. Brawler is a good tank. People still prefer to have a lancer rather than a brawler in some dungeons, but both can get the job done. Also, thanks : )
Its posible to you to make a guide to FAUW? i know dung got a lot nerf is lower with diffculty, from 4 star to 3 star also players have paid ressurect, but still will be nice to get a little visual overview
It sounds to me like you're playing on console, because we don't have that gear on pc anymore. For the stats that you can choose, I think on the first line you want damage to enraged monsters, and then the rest, again enraged monsters, attack speed, and I think damage to monsters with most aggro towards you? I don't remember the stats that well anymore, we've had different gear for like 2 years by now I think. Maybe see if you can find a few brawlers with better gear in Highwatch or Velika, and inspect their setup.
You're welcome. There are still some other videos I want to make, so for now I'm not remaking videos I already made. You can get a lot of gold by just running dungeons. You can also still craft materials and sell them at the broker.
Yes, people are still playing TERA. Highwatch looks a bit empty, at least on the NA Kaia server, but if you use instance matching you usually get into dungeons within minutes. Apparently other servers still have a bigger population.
People always want to blame others rather than themselves, but also, if you know a dungeon by heart, and there is a new player who doesn't know mechanics and causes wipes, that can get frustrating quickly, and some people get angry in that case, especially if the healer or tank are new.
The console version is actually quite different from the PC version. After the Apex skill patch, console got their own development team, and they are doing their own thing. The gear is different for example, but the playstyle might still work on console. I don't have a console myself, so I cannot try it though.
Although Tera official servers have died, these guides have been very helpful for private servers. Thank you for making these back then, much love

Brawler is loads of fun for solo gaming, My worry is they don't seem to have a way around a stun attacks like lancers.

is this game still alive for NA players? thinking of coming back (fresh account) im looking to do mostly pvp tho
TERA is still alive, but I think when it comes to PvP, there is not much going on any more. I don't usually PvP though, so I can't say for sure.
is there a guide with the rotations?
02:50 RHYTHMIC BLOWS
05:00 WITHOUT RHYTHMIC BLOWS
07:04 STARTING THE FIGHT
^ that is the rotation
plz do a zerk guide too
I want to make one for every class eventually, but I have to learn most classes first. I'm quite bad at zerk XD
Are people still playing Tera nowadays? How about the player population?
Yes, people are still playing TERA. Highwatch looks a bit empty, at least on the NA Kaia server, but if you use instance matching you usually get into dungeons within minutes. Apparently other servers still have a bigger population.
Some people just like the game but it is a zombie game. #wakeupdeadman
Why many people are so evil in Tera? They bully me. And now i vant bully back, people.

please make Zerk guide :)
I will eventually. I'm not very good on zerk though, I have to learn it myself first. XD
