Bri, Jason at Cog Hill Farm had problems w the ducks dirty ing his waterers..He put a cattle panel on top of the water. The horses can still drink but the ducks can't bathe.
Cause they don’t have nothing better to do with there time and are keyboard warriors well I’m a great believer in treat people how you wish to be treated and what goes around comes around, they are just bullies so sad bri is a lovely person and like all humans is learning everyday I think she is amazing xx ❤
Absolutely to all three comments!!! I couldn't of written any of the comments better!! Bri, just keep being yourself!! Enjoy your time in training!! A lot of people do not get this opportunity!!!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Love how you try to keep informed on what the animals need. If you have a pile you have a pile, it can be changed when it needs to. Like kids, the horses know you love them and care for them but have to direct them on a good path!
❤🎉 Love the longer length of this video Bri -- more please!! 😊😍 It's fun to watch you with your horses, happy for you having them home !! Much love. 💖💝💕
Bri you are my hero. I'm 63 and I love how you are raising Kash and Karter. They are living their best lives. I commented on your dad's channel that if I had to go to war, I would want a platoon made up of you to go into battle ❤
PawPaw cracks me up.."Google is not written for East Texas...in East Texas we call it a block...I didnt' ask for this here lecture". 🤣🤣🤣. I would guess it is ducks, geese making your water so dirty. Barbie and Tigger are so good for each other. Another great video, Bri !!
My late Grandpa use to put a hose in the holes could be mice or moles Bri I would ignore all the negativity, I think you and amazing wife, mamma and animal lover. And a bladdy hard worker and I'm so proud of you ❤
Hey Bri! I think Barbie is doing just fine Courtney really knows her stuff. Your on the right track especially with the gate issue you know what works for them
Hello, put a piece of cattle panel over the top with cut outs so that the horses can drink out of it. Ask your Uncle Lester about it. He had the same problem with the ducks. 🙏💜
Hey Bri, regarding your water bucket getting dirty from the ducks: have you seen what Jason at Cog Hill did with his waterers? He put a cattle panel over the top, I think he secures it with something simple but the animals can drink from it but cannot swim in it anymore and has saved much cleanup for him. Hope this helps!
Holes could be some critter digging for worms. A three sided compost structure on a side of the barn doesn’t have to be ugly. The family gardeners will appreciate it. 🙂❤️
Bri I have said it before But Young Lady You Are Absolutely So Great With All Of Your Fur Feathers Babies,,,Along With Your Own TWO Little Ones Have A Great Day
I have a handicap sister & seeing Punk with the butterfly hair clips reminded me of when we were littl3. My Aunt & Uncle lived on a lake & they had an Irish Setter. We were visiting one day & my sister took off her pink pants & I put them on the dog. That dog ran around the lake all day with those pink pants on 😂😂. If you take and cut a cattle panel down to fit & put it across the water trough, it will keep the ducks out of it.
You know I'm just glad that you have some horses that you love and you enjoy and they're doing great and I hope nobody's criticizing anything about what you're doing because when it comes down to it you need to do what's comfortable and right for you and your animals I'm sorry if people make criticizing comments I am so happy that you have a little stall area and you have your animals and you know you're an amazing Mom you're a great sister a great daughter a great-granddaughter and you do so much for so many and on top of that you're raising too great beautiful kids you should be very proud of yourself.... I've enjoyed watching you grow into all these amazing things and have all these amazing bonds with your animals and I just really enjoy listening to you about the goat feed and everything and yes you have to let those horses know you're the boss you're in charge there is nothing wrong with taking a Spanky stick or whatever you call it out there and letting them know and this is where the line is drawn and you know backing them up from the gate and not letting them come in your space when you don't want it you're doing great and it is so fun to watch and you should be really proud of yourself you're doing excellent Keep On Keepin On Girl God bless you and your family
Hi. I live in Pennsylvania. I only have one horse. I have had one my whole life. I have stall mats but never put shavings or straw down. I feel my horses never needed it and it’s a big mess. Save yourself some work. And you do have tractors that you can use. Just take one over there and shovel the poo into it and take it to the back of the property. It will compost all by itself and you don’t have to worry about a pile lying around. Plus it will keep the flies away from a pile of poo that is just sitting. I do all mine by hand. lol I wish I had a little tractor. Just some tips I have done over the years. Good Luck. ❤
Maybe you should go back to the previous goat food without molasses. They've always been good eaters. How is Pickles doing? Elfy and Lefty are so big and kind of bullies. Those holes are worrisome. Hope you find out what kind of critter/bug made them. Take care. You're doing a great job with all your animals and feathers. 🇨🇦❤️🙋🏼♀️🇨🇦
If Steph and bud are interested in composting they might love your shavings and poo. They have a really large garden that would benefit from it and you wouldn’t have very far to dump it either. Lester burns his but that’s with total clean outs. I’m not sure what they do with daily manure piles. I can tell a difference in Barbie since being with Courtney and I’m also pretty impressed how quick they learned they cant trample at the gate if you have the spanky stick. I agree you can do both and that’s an a great way to think positive ❤
I just cannot get over how well Barbie is doing!! You're doing a great job with both of them. Is there some way you could bring in a small trailer to load the shavings on? It would be cool if you could find a company/sponsor (I forgot what you call it, a co Something) that sells semi small box trailers to do that sort ofthing, among other chores. Something that could be pulled with a side by side.
Hey bri .. there's a huge difference in barbie .. she seems to feel so much better as well .. not in so much pain. Her n Tigger are both beautiful .. love tiggers bows. You're doing great with them
Build a retaining wall with those picket boards and put the shavings behind them. On the side facing the driveway, paint a beautiful-picture and/or words.
Bri, can you build a super simple L shaped structure where the walls face the road and you can shovel the shavings into the other side? that way you'd have easy access but it'd still be kind of hidden.
I love watching you Bri. I see you as a beautiful mother and a hard worker. Mostly what comes through is your passion for your life and then animals. I watch your entire family. Oddly strange you feel all familiar. Your dad cracks me up, Jake and his goofiness. Your mother the stern and reserved one who keep you all on the straight and narrow. God bless you dear. I pray for stamina, joy and peace in your life!
Bri, I agree on the job that Kourtney did with Barbie. In fact, I believe that she would be the right person to work on Lester and Jami's two youngest horses. You do a great job with your fur and feathered babies. Don't ever be afraid to ask someone for help.
Just a suggestion, please watch Steve Young Horsemanship. He's an Brit that lives in Wales who is so knowledgeable in training horses. You could learn so much from him.
Hey Bri. You could. Use a heavy duty tarp the size of the shelter you are keeping the horses in. Lay it flat in front of it Then scoop all the shavings/poop on it then put a rope through the holes in the tarp .after all of it is out pull the tarp together with the rope and take the tractor and lift it up and take it where ever you want to dispose it to it will work this is what i do with my coop shavings and when im raking up leaves i just rake them on the tarp then carry them off. Hope this helps or gives you some help or ideas to keep it cleaned out if also sprinkle some Saturday lime on the floor to keep the smell gone and to kill any mites or bugs in their shelter Have a great day
bri my aunt dumps here Manured and wood shavings into the ditches or low areas of her pastures. when it rains it fertilizes the ground and seems to work.
I totally agree with you Bri!! You must be the herd leader for the horses and watch them in the pasture how they sometimes kick and bite when it comes to the hirachy. Courtney is a good horse person and a good teacher!! Honestly I dont know what other people are writing you but she is not as good as Rick- but I am neither and all the other people, too. + Courtney learned you how to not punish but dominate your horses lije a herd leader would do. You learned very much and you are a horse person just like Jami. In my opinion a horse person is a person who loves horses and is willing to learn!!! Happy Texas!! Here in Europe so many private stall's had to close bc you need a place which is full of beton on the ground and has a special pump to keep the poop and the smell out of the ground water. We are not even allowed to burn anything and if the mist place is full we are forced to drive it traktor load after traktor load to the "special garbage". Building this place for the horse poop correctly like the EU forces us to do is so expensive that many barn's had to close and sell their horses. Also we are not allowed to ride on public property without a western riding certificate or the english version a riding pass. Enjoy your freedom America!!! These are a few reason's why I want to go back in my pension and stay there. Best whishes and GOD BLESS YOU BRI 🙋🇦🇹❤️🐎
For your goat area. Move your goats out for a few days. Rake the dirt hole area. Then bring in tractor and grate up the dirt. Then look to see what comes up from the dirt. Then treat that area for what ever the bug or insect that come up. Better yet.. great up the dirt at feeding time of the guineas and have PawPaw feed just a little in that area so they will eat the bugs. After a few day if the bugs still making holes pour in insect killer or Dawn dish detergent. Rake it back over and bring back the goats.
Discipline is the correct word. Discipline is correction ,respect, honesty, integrity, responsibility, preparing, and so many other things. When people talk about professions, they also use the word discipline. Many people think of it the wrong way like it's being mean. It's not. We discipline our children because we love them. It's not punishment. Discipline helps us and them become healthy individuals who can be a part of society or a community. It teaches boundaries especially working with animals.
Miserable people like to get as many people on their train as possible!!! And they are all full of 💩. Bri your doing a great job. 💪 I notice a huge difference in Barbie 🫶 Courtney and Ashley are wonderful ♥️🐴
Bree, get you a piece of a hog panel and attach it to the top of your water trough. That’ll keep the ducks from getting in the water they’ll still be able to drink and the horses will still be able to drink. That’s what Jason, over at Coghill, did to his and it’s working great.
There are to many that just like to be negative. The responses from Barbie are much better now. As she realizes there will be no saddle/no pain it will get Even better. She will always have that "prove it to me human" attitude. It's just her personality.
A good portion of Love is respect. You can't have love without it. Horses have a need for a pecking order and you being so much smaller need to be at the tippy-top of that pecking order. I haven't seen the video of her with Barbie but I did see her working with rita. I got to say I 100% approved! When you don't have healthy boundaries, people and animals will walk right over the top of you. That's how a lot of horses end up in the kill pens. I'm glad to see that you sought out professional help for both Barbie and yourself. I don't think you can go wrong. I think you're a wonderful individual with a big beautiful heart. I think you are very concerned with making sure that you fulfill all your animals needs. Teaching them to respect you is one of their very important needs. Especially with horses cuz they're massive animals. If something goes wrong, they tend to get blamed for it no matter what their human says. So you should be proud of yourself in reaching out and getting a little extra training. It's the best thing for you your horses and your family. Don't listen to people who see maybe 30 minutes of your life each day. They don't know your grind they only see what you post. Sometimes they forget that
Bri you’re doing a fabulous job with the horses, people just need to understand that they are your horses and you’re obviously doing good by them ❤ also as far as the shavings, maybe you can invest in one of those buggy type things that attach to the back of the golf cart. They are pretty large and if it doesn’t fit all in one trip it definitely would in 2 trips. Yes it would cost a little but it’s a good investment cause it could be used for carrying supplies and stuff as well, just an idea.
Bri, I noticed right after you brought Barbie home she has seemed to calm down and has shown love to you. I see it. You're doing a great job with all your animals, chickens and just being a great mom! I love your videos!
I think the holes are mice. I had holes in my chicken coop and they were from mice. But I know nothing. You are so fun to watch, I just love your channel.
Here in lower Louisiana, we have those kinds of holes in our yard. Here they are Mole Crickets. They eat the roots of your grass and eventually there will be no grass in your yard. Unless it is treated to kill the mole crickets
Love through leadership. With horses, if they don't respect your leadership, they'll consider you lower in the "herd pecking order" and they will ignore your instructions.
You can make a compost area rather than a bin. Make it out of pallets or old wood. You make walls from the pallets/wood to hide the piles of poo. 😊 Then you and Stephanie and whoever else can use it for improving your soil and fertilizing your gardens after it's composted for a year.
Get yourself (your )trailer to load and make one trip of mucked shavings to the back. Leave empty parked trailer next to the stalls to load little by little daily till filled to move to the back. Just a suggestion.
Dear Brianne, you are magnificent. I would adopt you in a heartbeat. That sounds so weird, sorry. Anywho, just wanted to say thank you for so many wonderful videos. Lyn from UK.
What about building a compost box? Then you could put your shavings and poo in it ... Might help and then it wouldn't look bad people who drive by would most likely know what it is and not judge you for it
I know this is a late comment, but could you use a large tarp........push all the shavings on the tarp and lift with the tractor (of course you will need rope to close the tarp up)or place the tarp in a pull trailer and then dump and hose clean.
Kourtney did a good job with work g with Barbie. The fly spray, she ran every time you tried to spray her. I would get a compost pile going, just try to keep it more in the shady area. Those holes could be cicadas emerging for there breeding season. It is recommended not to kill them. Don’t pick them up, get a container or if the children have small plastic shovels. They don’t bite but do have mouths that they suck plant juice from the plants.
I think cicadas come out of the ground as a weird worm thing first. Bri you’re a mom. You can figure this out with the horses. No doubt. Talk to your Funcle Lester about ducks and water and how gross they are. lol
BRI, you’re right into building things. Try building a compost enclosure, facing away from public view. Three sided with two to four sections. And at least 6ft high. And each section of the enclosure wide enough to accommodate your tractor bucket. Use the tractor fork to toss the maturing compost and also move along the sections of the enclosure as the compost becomes old enough to use. You could then sell that beautiful compost or share it with your wonderful family in exchange for their wonderful fresh produce.
I did tell Kourtney that it was noticeable that Barbie was much better with you than before she went to stay for a bit. Coghill puts cattle panel on the top. The animals can still drink but ducks and geese can't foul it up.
Muck wagon or wheel barrow and clean the stalls every morning. I used to wheel it to a low area of my woods far from the barn. Now I am covering a rock pile with it. I call it rock, poo , flower mountain. I put my flower garden expired or excess plants there too. You could use your atv to haul it away. Eventually it becomes garden fertilizer
Bri, please get a 100 gallon twin compost spinner or tumbler. I had asked y'all ta get these before they got so expensive, when ya couldn't get fertilizer. None of ya got them. They have %s of the mix ta put in them. It takes months for the process ta be complete. Amazon sells them. Aeration is so important as ya need ta turn your contents at least twice a day. A pile will draw bugs, rodents, possibly snakes. Best ta have it off the ground, easy ta spin, and UV protected. Can get metal or plastic tanks.
Great video Bri, thank you for the updates and looping us in on everything. I think you're fantastic! I don't have any farm animals so I can't offer any tips for the shavings, but I'm sure you'll figure out a good solution that works best for you❤
You are doing a great job Bri. you are just learning how to take care of horses. I get that. And i love the bloopers. Please don't take the peepats, karens, and felicia's remarks to heart. Love you ❤🇨🇦
Bri, Jason at Cog Hill Farm had problems w the ducks dirty ing his waterers..He put a cattle panel on top of the water. The horses can still drink but the ducks can't bathe.
It is hard for me to understand why people are so critical of you all. A shame they just can’t watch and enjoy. We do.
Cause they don’t have nothing better to do with there time and are keyboard warriors well I’m a great believer in treat people how you wish to be treated and what goes around comes around, they are just bullies so sad bri is a lovely person and like all humans is learning everyday I think she is amazing xx ❤
Haters sit in their tiny little houses with their tiny little minds and brew up Hate & Jealousy!!😢
Absolutely to all three comments!!! I couldn't of written any of the comments better!! Bri, just keep being yourself!! Enjoy your time in training!! A lot of people do not get this opportunity!!!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Barbie was amazing at letting you spray fly spray! What a difference! Great job, Bri!
A cattle panel on top of the water trough let's the animals drink but the ducks cannot get in it. Saw that on Cog Hill Fasrm videos. 😊
Love how you try to keep informed on what the animals need. If you have a pile you have a pile, it can be changed when it needs to. Like kids, the horses know you love them and care for them but have to direct them on a good path!

I laughed so hard at Punk's butterfly hair clips. That's what a good dog does for his sister ❤❤❤
Hey Bri! I think Barbie is doing just fine Courtney really knows her stuff. Your on the right track especially with the gate issue you know what works for them
Your Doing a great job Bri with Barbie and Tigger. Happy to see them home. Goats look wonderful❤🙏❤🙏❤
Hello, put a piece of cattle panel over the top with cut outs so that the horses can drink out of it. Ask your Uncle Lester about it. He had the same problem with the ducks. 🙏💜
Great job, Bri! You're doing fine! I can't get over how beautiful Tigger is. I'm glad he and Barbie are paired up.
Don’t listen to the negative people! All you Morrows are amazing. Love and blessings from Rhode Island

If you can’t say something nice, as Lester would say……Just hush it up‼️ God Bless Yall🕊️
Good morning Bri,
You're just disciplining them, not punishing. Setting boundaries is a good thing.
Yes, you have to,,,it's not cruel...behavioral management...for everyone's safety.
Bri, make a three sided compost ,with space between the boards on each side. Put it behind there pen.

Great video!! Loved the banter with PawPaw about the "flake" or "block" of alfalfa....😂😂
You are a great Mom, Wife and Rancher❤
She sure is
Build a three side structure to hide the compost pile.
Bri, can you build a super simple L shaped structure where the walls face the road and you can shovel the shavings into the other side? that way you'd have easy access but it'd still be kind of hidden.

Yes Bri, my male goat was eating sweetfeed and died because of the stones. He was young. I hope Someone can help Jake learn about this.
Jake only has girl goats so it shouldn’t bother them!
@LifeOnMorrowHill the new goat, I think, is a male?
@debbyalden55 an intact male, not a whether.
I hope Kourtney showed you how to clean the sheath of your gelding and the rocks that can form in there. You do a great job on your videos.

Ammonium nitrate is a nitrogen fertilizer, and in other configurations it can be used to make bombs with diesel fuel (Oklahoma City)

To keep the ducks out of the water fix a cattle panel over the top the water trough. It will still allow the horses to drink and keep the ducks out.

Sometimes they forget that
You are a rock star. You help everyone, and work so hard.
Wow, you are doing so amazing with the horses, Bri. Great video, and love seeing you here.
Punk is just secure in his masculinity 😊
Bri you’re doing a fabulous job with the horses, people just need to understand that they are your horses and you’re obviously doing good by them ❤ also as far as the shavings, maybe you can invest in one of those buggy type things that attach to the back of the golf cart. They are pretty large and if it doesn’t fit all in one trip it definitely would in 2 trips. Yes it would cost a little but it’s a good investment cause it could be used for carrying supplies and stuff as well, just an idea.
Please remind Jake of that since he now has a male goat.
Tigger and Barbie are gorgeous they are so wonderful with each other Bri
Y'all need to have a Morrow Hill compost pile. Pawpaw, Steph, Kim, even Alyssa are all growing gardens.
I am so glad you are doing more youtube, the only thing I watch. Love you Bri and and watching you with your kids. You are a great mom.
Bri, you are doing a phenomenal job with those horses! 🎉 Discipline with Love, its a balance.
Put a cattle panel over the top ! Will keep ducks out
Bri, I noticed right after you brought Barbie home she has seemed to calm down and has shown love to you.
You could burn the shavings after a couple of dry days horse manure burns really well
Very beautiful and super intelligent, very knowledgeable, you really know your animals
Love Punkys decorations!!!😂🦋
Looks like horses dont need much reprimanding, minded pretty good!
What about building a compost box? Then you could put your shavings and poo in it ... Might help and then it wouldn't look bad people who drive by would most likely know what it is and not judge you for it
Hey Bri take a cattle panel and cut it to fit on top of the horses water trough and it will keep the ducks out but the horses can still get water
Jason did that at COG hill had a cut out so animals could drink but ducks & geese couldn’t get in to bathe & poop
She didn’t even want to run away from you like usual so there you go another change right there in one video honey great job love xo
Great job, Bre. You are a champion 🏆
If you cut a cow panel to fit over over the horse's water the ducks can't get in it but the horse's can drink.
LE tried that and they stood on the cow panel and pooped 😂

I don't have any farm animals so I can't offer any tips for the shavings, but I'm sure you'll figure out a good solution that works best for you❤
Bree, you are one hard-working lady. You’ve got a lot going on and you’re doing a wonderful job of it.❤
You are doing a great job Bri. you are just learning how to take care of horses. I get that. And i love the bloopers. Please don't take the peepats, karens, and felicia's remarks to heart.
Love you ❤🇨🇦
