It was a hard choice, they also still had the Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 year Lot B, the guy in front of me and behind me both got the George T. Stagg. But I've been on the hunt for Old Rip for a long time and just couldn't pass it up. Hopefully next time I will get the G.T. Stagg 🥃
Thought about it, but I prefer the higher proof. The 12 is 95 proof and the Old Rip is 107 and I've been chasing Rip for a while so it was hard to pass up.
What a haul, congrats man! Hope you enjoy every drop of that 10 year Rip Van Winkle. Any idea what percentage of the total entries get chosen for a golden ticket? I was fortunate enough to win a Thomas Handy in the recent OH Liquor lottery and I believe odds for winning any bottle (Table 1) allocation level were around 1.5% here.
Nice video. Drew #44 this year (2024) for Mountain Brook location. It showed what to expect. Thanks!
Good picks, but I couldn't have passed up the George T. Stagg for an Old Rip Van Winkle... Cheers!

Same here. But everyone on their one.

Congrats. I met number 51 in dothan in Nov. I didn't get selected. Maybe next year.

Congrats on the golden ticket and your scores! Awesome haul dude!
Thanks 👍
Congratulations that’s a very Nice haul
Thanks, I'm very happy with it, always wanted a Old Rip.
I have only had one that I got for like $20 over SRP and I gave that to my captain as a Christmas gift. Not gonna pay 6 to 8 times SRP for it.
nice snags!!
How much is a bottle of Rip down there? What did they charge you for BT?
BT was 27.99, and I can usually get that once a month. The Rip was 99.99, but the chances of me finding that again is very slim.
Good God what a haul
Thank you 👍
Superr !
Thanks 👍
What was the total for all the bottles
With tax, around $545
That’s not bad at all. Congrats man!!!
Price?
Rip was 99.99
Stagg was 54.99
Weller FP 49.99
Weller 107 was 55.99
Four Roses BS 89.99
Penelope Architect 69.99
Buffalo Trace 27.99
1792 BIB 38.99
Saz18 sitting there would have been tough to pass up
I agree, there was a lot of stuff I wanted, but I was trying to stay in my budget, maybe next time I will luck up.
Congrats!
Thank You 👍
Great hail. Why not go for the old rip 12 yr?

I'm not really sure of the percentage but odds of being picked are very slim. Thanks for your comment 👍
This is why the whole country can’t find good bottles there all hoarded by this state
Lol, unfortunately it's just a once year thing. Thanks for your comment 🥃
I’d be in heaven
I definitely was, hopefully I get picked again next year 👍
