Another great video!! I didn’t wanna take on this install and just had my local euro shop install BFI Stage 1 mounts in my 2016 GTI at 84k miles. I’ll say - after 60k tuned miles the OEM mounts were not impressed with life and the new mounts made a whole new car!! Hope you enjoy!

Can you describe the improvement? Did it solve any slop or engine movement that you could feel when pulling away?

Interesting install. You apparently are a thrill seeker since you left the turbo inlet pipe completely open during the entire install. One bit of random material falling into the pipe and that could be the end of your turbo. 😢

Thanks for the video! Supporting the engine from the plastic pan isn't an issue? Id love to avoid buying a support bar for this but it makes me a bit nervous

Not as long as you distribute the load with a piece of wood.

Big fan of your car! I a have a question for you. Did the motor mounts fix wheel hop for you? I am running a 2018 Golf R EQT stage 2 and get wheel hop often off launch? I ordered the BFI Pendulum mount insert but have not gone full mount upgrade yet.
