Hi Clare. Game is hard. Remember its just a game and dont get too wrapped up in other peoples bullshit. Play for your own enjoyment and if you wanna get better, good for you. If you're happy just chilling and chain feeding in Guardian 1 for the rest of your life, good for you also.
@Yomikachi that's old story, people have a very bad misconception about the lower brackets. They hit creeps now, they know what abilities does, they press buttons, and they actually carry true sight. It's all because how many educational videos out there are on youtube
This just reminds me of my short time in Herald. Its a completely different game than in other brackets and its like quicksand. Once you're in its hard to break out cause you're a pos 5 and your carry is a 15 tango undying.
I'm a support player, I play mainly like 20 games a year so I've been a Herald for a loong time because I mostly never play enough ranked games to even get assigned a rank. My friends are way more active than me and they're all like Legend-Divine and with them, I'm a semi decent support doing support stuff. I secure runes, pull lanes, stack camps, ward, deward, participate in fights, try to keep lanes shoved in etc. I'm not saying I'm great, but I'd say that's not what you see in herald most of the time. But when I make the occasional solo ranked mistake, I tend to try to do the same thing and be a good support instead of picking a scalable hero to carry from pos5. Which is absolutely useless in Herald games and we get dumpstered and people complain: "Why'd you ward the enemy side of the map, I need to see that my camps are safe" It's a completely different game to support in Herald because no one is doing their job, which invalidates all support :D
Actually a strat. If you only buy quelling, by the time the waves meet, once you get 2 (probably the first wave) your courier waiting at secret can buy it. They were doing it at the last 2 majors.
Well, he should follow the game trend and train himself a bunch of IMBA picks to get MMR. For instance, snapfire or wr, so he can become pos1 in the late game to prevent a dumb carry.
If you are learning the game, you will likely end up in herald, and you may not be competely braindead. You just have to climb your way out and it is hell.

At one point he sells both wraith bends to buy a piece of linken. It killed my brain, he lost 20 agility from that selling...the funny part is that he had space in inventory to keep them and the other item he purchased.

What a glorious game, reminds me of the good ol days of dota on wc3 and the different versions of dota that were pure chaos. My buddy was definitely the undying type, he would dive to the fountain if he could.

long long time ago. you can start treant with 9 tango + 5 branches. this was super old treant when he rushes radiance right after brown boots. back then u only take armor and attributes. Personally, one of the best treant
5:25 mathematically is better to level up Lucent Beam to level 2 my friend, not Eclipse. 160 damage X 6 Beams = 960 damage 80 damage X 9 Beams = 720 damage.
Reminds me: One of my first dots games I ate multiple tangos to heal faster. How was I supposed to know that they don't stack? The very concept isn't something that makes sense before learning about it. To which naturally follows buying more and more tangos to eat more and more because the healing is never fast enough.

Former 5k here that is currently Herald 3 due to years of MMR decay from not playing. Gotta say, my games are relatively normal and its really rare to see ppl like this :/ I wonder if they try to put the MMR decayed ppl together
First off, 3:30 I think he was using that time to top off his mana with his bottle. Second, I am an unemployed package delivery driver and I can calculate the divisor to 7 without hesitation. Of course I would get distracted and miss it... Point is, some people are just good at math. There are undoubtedly folks out there scrubbing toilets who are better at math than a lot of people with a degree in it. Also, he might have a cheat sheet taped to his desk.
