Soldier Boy has every right to be pissed off. He is the only one that stuck to the plan. Pre nuclear blast Soldier Boy is crazy strong. He basically rag dolled everyone.
@@Khqra agreed. After the dope fight scene in herogasm I was really excited for the last epic fight. And this just wasn’t it for me personally. I was expecting to see people go through walls and shit, you know, like an actual superhuman fight. But they either didn’t have the budget, or just don’t want to go over the top like that.
Ryan is going to be super dangerous. Growing up loved by Homelander and seeing that it's ok to kill whoever he wants and not be punished...hell...similar to..Joffrey
Both ryan and homelander need to get clipped next season, but they need to die at the same time tho. If one lives and finds out the other was killed , things will get spooky. Especially if homelander is the one still alive and finds out ryan died.
Ong I think Ryan was like I kill who ever I want and ppl won't give a fuck I don't think homelander was thinking that Like fuck bro that was the first L shit he did in front of his son
I don't think they have the balls to do that tbh. I think what will happen is somehow Ryan will end back up with Butcher and The Boys and go on to kill Homelander. Also, to be fair, that douchebag came out of nowhere and attacked him. I think any father would've beat the shit out of someone for that
she's a warrior, HL is just a big fish. She most definitely had the greatest chance of beating him other than SB. Maeve, Butch on V, and Starlight could be all thats needed to beat him
@@rari2943 No she doesn't homelander was going easy on her and popped her eye. When homelander wants to kill he goes straight for neck, have you watched herogasm ?
32:30 convo Rob & Jerry completely forgot that when ATrains brother told him about Blue Hawk, ATRAINS FIRST REACTION WAS TO GIVE THE VICTIMS FAMILY SOME MONEY. HE LITERALLY SAID “ I’m Michael Jordan, not Malcolm X.” A-Train didn’t give af about peoples problems until they became his problems. He made every excuse possible when his brother asked him to use his platform.
@@bangitybangbabang he always is. He’s hella high and says something dumb and then won’t back down from his point. I have nothing against weed smokers, but he legit is so high he brain dead half the time
It doesn’t change the fact that he did that for his brother. He felt that he was doing something good for once. He didn’t just do it for the rebrand…the fact that he literally declined initially proves my point. He had a change of heart because he thought it was the right thing to do. The show is clearly giving a train his redemption arc you just have to pay attention to it…
@@thedarthmal it’s clear ATrain is struggling with his morality. I never denied that, but they’re painting it as if ATrain was being selfless by going after Blue Hawk. THE ONLY REASON HE CARED FOR BLUE HAWK was because he wanted a new angle on how to get black fans. He brought CAMERAS to the meeting his brother hosted PLUS his initial reaction to the Blue Hawk situation shows - he didn’t actually care about saving black people. Finally, he only goes after Blue Hawk AFTER HIS OWN brother gets hurt. He only cares about issues when they directly effect him, that’s called being selfish. As things are this season, ATrain showed repeatedly he only cares for himself.
@@davimedina5165 Yeah she’s definitely a lot stronger than Soldier Boy. Idk see how a Captain America knock off is stronger than a Wonder Woman knockoff.
A-Train never really got into black issues before. He told his brother that he was more like "Michael Jordan" and was not an activist. Michael Jordan is known to stay away from political issues unlike someone like Lebron that is more outspoken about Civil Rights. A-Train is more about his brand and his standing in the Seven. He was against Blue Hawk and his racism but it was A-Train's brother that informed him about Blue Hawk. Maybe A-Train cares more now because of his brother but for most of his career, A-Train mostly cared about his image. A-Train does those commercials to rebrand himself and he doesn't even understand why those commercials make him appear even more fake even if he is caring more for the issues of his community.
I don't think Black Noir's story is done. Soldier Boy gave him the same treatment that Mindstorm got, and he survived. His loyalty has been to Edgar and Vought. If Edgar makes another play, I think Noir will be involved.
@@internetrambo1069 SB literally bashed his head and burnt it, he survived, pretty sure he survived this too, plus edgar will come back, he teased in an interview with amazon or whatever
A-train is not a 2 dimensional character. He's still overall a POS, and mostly only cares about himself. But he legit cared about his brother, his apology to Hughie solidified that. Killing Blue Hawk was out of anger of his brother getting hurt, but his brother tells A-train that he wanted justice without killing Blue Hawk. A-train isn't redeemed for killing Blue Hawk, but I do think killing him wasn't 100 percent for himself.
Black Noir was done dirty this episode, no way would they kill off the most mysterious and oldest active superhero in Vought. I think he’s still alive and he’s gonna come back stronger and better next season.
A-Train has been shown to have so many opportunities to do the right thing. Instead he fucks it up every time. Dude is all about himself, has killed multiple innocent people and made Vought cover it up and even told on Supersonic this season and got him killed, just to get back in Homelanders good graces. The rebranding is extremely cringe since he was never about that before. While he tried to help his brother with the Blue Hawk thing, his first instinct was just to donate some money and the actual thing he did was allow Blue Hawk to stand on stage a say: “I’m not racist, bye”. He only really started to care when he hurt his brother and then he just killed him and got it covered up again (the last thing his brother wanted). A-Train keeps being about himself. Maybe it’ll change, but it sure didn’t happen this season.
Rob literally doesn't let anyone else talk. Says let me finish, then procedes to never let anyone else finish their point. Childish. Smh. Quality entertainment though. Pat and Evan are on point. And A-Train tried to rebrand himself. How is it everyone In the community knew that A train wasn't about the community, except for robbie. Like he's watching a different show.
You don't get, his brother told him about the blue hawk situation, he was genuinely angry that about the racist, he did add it to his re-brand bt he was actually angry, but evan and jerry made it look he was fake during that period
Rob literally said that he agreed that A-Train didn't care about the community. His point was that A-Train cared about his brother, and his brother showing him Blue Hawk's misdeeds made him genuinely upset about the entire situation.
@@okpareogaga4425 he only began caring when blue hawk got violent and paralyzed his brother when he initially heard from his brother that blue hawk was murdering black people in cold blood his brother asked him to push for change and a-train told him he’s not Malcom x then later he tried to get bluehawk to give some half assed apology to appease the community and gain support as some kind of savior but once his brother was hurt it became personal
@@EvanFox-r1s Yeah that’s what I was trying to say. When he first heard about the innocent victim, his initial response was to throw the victims family a few dollars their way for their loss. Like he truly didn’t care.
@@okpareogaga4425 because he essentially is fake. he doesnt know how to actually help because he genuinely doesnt care that much. his first solution was to throw money at the victims. they wanted blue hawk to be arrested, and his response was to get blue hawk to give a formal apology. hes fake. hes been apart of the seven for years before the show started, and only started caring about stuff when his brother had to point out to him. even his re brand was for the sake of compensating for him not being able to run. his brother had to *tell* him about blue hawk, he wasnt even in on the loop. in that world probably most black people would have been following blue hawk's incidents, and they would have probably made national headlines. Meanwhile A Train didnt know untill someone told him.
Soldier boy is my favorite boys character. Takes no shit, keeps his word, and most of all isn't a pussy. He's unironically the best one out of the boys because he actually keeps his word and has honor. He might have been a bit of a douchebag and maybe a bit of a false braggart, but he's the real deal when it comes to action.
He is def a wuss, he ruined the entire plan because his ego was hurt rhat a kid whooped him, he has this weird hatred for kids which explains why he bullied and beat up gunpowder and young noir
Black Noir isn’t dead. His power is that he’s pretty much immortal. He got his brains bashed in by Soldier Boy and stabbed himself in the arm and didn’t die. They’ve never given us an explanation on his powers because it’s kind of obvious if you pay enough attention. He got a undeserved death because they want us to think he’s dead but in reality he’s not.
The moment A-Train saw Blue Hawk attacking people at the community center is when A-Train became serious about it. Then she saw his brother hurt and finally felt the struggle for the first time. When A-Train attacked Blue Hawk, the first thing he said "You hurt a lot of people-". So A-Train's motives were selfish and personal sure, but he even said, "and you're gonna get away with it, but not this time." So he pretty much turned into Hughie. He wanted to stop Blue Hawk from continuing his violence against the Black Community. So it was all fake and rebranding until he met his brother, then didnt actually get serious until Blue Hawk attacked because he saw it with his own eyes.
Is it just me or is there just something about these fights in the boys. We don't have too many but man they give me goosebumps and it just feels like super humans are fighting. Props to the stunt team and the people who set all that up along with the effects.
Because there is so little of it, that every fight seems like the situation escalated to a 100. Also, they never make the superhero overpower, they are underwhelming at time. But they are resistant, resistant to be a problem, you have to blow the area up or catch them alone. It's really well done. It never feels put of balance
Homelander lasers a guy again in front of a crowd but this time it isn’t in his head. Ironically people cheer for him even though he murdered a man right in front of them. This ties back to homelander saying I show people the real me and they love me for it. He was afraid of how people would react to his real self and yet they still cheer. Todd cheers for homelander and other join in as if they needed validation. Homelander also craves validation. Homelander killed the “enemy” so that muder was ok. In his interviews homelander pedals the notion of the infamous them. Who is the “them” or “they”? Anyone who is not with “us”. They can be whoever we need them to be. The homelander fans might cheer but the rest of the world may not making the us vs them narrative grow.
A-train has been trying to rebrand his image to get his spot back in the seven, he used his brother's idea because it was a good look. It was 100% apart of A-trains plan to improve his image within the seven
But killing Blue Hawk wasn't for himself. He tried to go to Vought for real justice and they literally told him to go fuck himself, Bluehawk was protected by homelander and his brother would never have gotten any justice, he knew that so he gave his own life to kill him.
A-Train didn't bring up the issue of Blue Hawk because he wanted to use to improve his image. He did it to make his brother happy. The only thing that was intentionally a part of his rebrand was the back to africa stuff. Even if you say that the stuff with Blue Hawk helped his image, like I know you're going to, thats not the reason he did it, he did it for his brother.
@@thevisionary5135 I think he did it for both reasons. His solution was to go to a corporation and speak to two white people (Ashley and Homelander) to come up with a solution. He only acted with what they gave him. When they asked what he wanted after A-Train sold out a Hispanic supe to be killed and when Homelander did him “a favor” with an ambused convo with Blue Hawk he just asked for an apology and let Vought set it up. Homelander only gave him that conversation because he told on Supersonic.
As far as the A-Train argument goes - both sides are right. He started looking for avenues of rebranding but it quickly became personal. A-Train was still kind of bullshittin the situation when he brought BlueHawk and the cameras - until he started wildn. That's when shit got more genuine.
Yeah but it would be basically impossible to get a mugshot of BlueHawk getting punishment for the crimes he has committed as Vought covered everything up so there is nothing to go against him expect from a few witness, which wouldn't do anything
@@809Bman Pretty much, he offered up some very light resistance to Blue Hawk in their meeting which showed that he might have cared in some small way but not enough to really risk anything.
I think the biggest takeaway for A-Train is that he was willing to die to kill the person who did that to his brother he 100% didn’t kill blue hawk for himself. He was planning on dying so rob is right, killing blue hawk was for his brother. After his brother is injured A-Train changes development wise and he even apologized to hughie. Before his brothers injury he was definitely only thinking about himself tho.
He had nothing to gain from killing bluehawk because he would have died. How did he know he would get his heart after that? I mean he did it out of anger but it was about what happened to his brother
@@jonh6287 Do you not know how emphasis works? You capitalized HIS (as in A-train) and still don't get the point. It was to make himself feel better. End of story.
@@Mcflurry564 lmfao how was he tryna make himself feel better when he goes and kills the guy for his brother. He literally didn't know he would get his heart. What is he tryna gain from it LMAO just stop.
Rob, I agree A Train tried to do something ab the Blue Hawk situation but A train has had too many chance to do the right thing and he always fails. He’s a clown and he’s pathetic. He has too much blood on his hands and hasn’t done anything to redeem himself. Stop making excuses for that man he’s a joke
@@Epicsandmore24 this is where context is important. kimicko has been forced into her situation and literally hates herself for what she has done. A-train doesnt care about people and this season has pointed that out to the viewers. even his own brother see's it.
@@OnGodsLevel Y'all trying to say most of the hundreds of the people she killed. None of them are innocent lool, they're all phoney apart from MM, starlight and Hughie
@@YoungYahtz94 Yes a train is a piece of shit for his actions, but who isn't ?, Is homelander, maeve (who threw a nerve agent out the window), the deep - rapist any better ? Any better. There is nothing unique about A train, in fact he's the only one to actual genuinely apologize for being a piece of shit.
@@OnGodsLevel Here are my overall thoughts on The Boys Season 3 Finale: ||1) Disappointed with what happened with Soldier Boy. Worried what Mallory is gonna do with him. Hope he comes back. Idk why I sympathize with him and rooted for him. 2) I think Maeve and A Train should have been killed off. Plus that CGI explosion was piss poor, and the Maeve fakeout felt unnecessary. 3) Disappointed Kimiko never got a chance to kill Nina. I think the showrunner has a crush on Nina. 3.5) What tehy did with Kimiko was hypocritical cause she feels bad for killing monsters but doesn’t care about killing innocent soldiers 4) I HATE NEUMAN. FOR GIVING HOMELANDER RYAN’s ADDRESS!!! YTF DID BUTCHED NOT PICK UP MALLORY’s PHONE CALL. WHY DID THAT MORON PUSH RYAN AWAY, HE WASNT THINKING. 5) It was satisfying seeing The Deep get humiliated. Still hate Cassandra though and hope she doesn’t get a good ending. 6) I’m still really annoyed with Starlight. She’s still a moron. 7) The gang getting back together felt unearned and forced. 8) Noir’s death was good for shock value but it’s a shame given last episodes build up. 9) I think the season 2 finale was much more satisfying. I was even more satisfied with Stranger Things 4’s Finale Overall, good but disappointing finale imo.||
I think y’all are both right. When A-Train heard about how Blue Hawk killed the black guy, A-Train just said he’d just send some money his families way. His brother was not satisfied with that. A-Train is an athlete and nothing in common with any community outside of the Vought community and has no idea on how to do anything so he asked Vought to handle it and come up with something. He asked Ashley and then Homelander. He wasn’t trying to do it in a sincere way on his own. He was only willing to act accordingly to Vought’s approval. He was cool with just an apology when they ambushed him with a meeting. What would an “apology” do? He tried with how he knows how, but he also viewed that it would boost his image. Killing two birds with one stone. Y’all are both right.
The general plot of this episode was a letdown & pretty unsatisfying. Ryan being the reason for stopping Soldier Boy was so annoying imo. Hopefully Noir makes a comeback.
Yeah I didn’t like how the szn ended, I wanted to see homelander get fked up or something. Like Butch completely turning on Soldier Boy bc of Ryan was dumb
Its just weird, they did a good job setting up the season and moving the story forward but by the end it feels like nothing really happened this season.
SO! Kripke said in an interview, when he told the actor who plays BN (who's apparently cool af and always played Smash with Quaid on set) how it was ultimately going down with Noir this season, he said he purposely wanted a different actor for the unmasked flashback. This was so there could be a new Noir, or just a new character. But even when he kills his people off, Kripke takes care of them.
Black Noir’s death was a waste. He got development in one episode then got killed in an unsatisfying way. His character wasn’t integral to the plot at all, so it was an easy death with no consequences. The only investment that this show built up for Noir is his confrontation with Soldier Boy, which never happened. It’s just shock value. Death should be about finality of an arc. Closure. Not cheap surprise and shock value. I can’t say this show keeps you on edge because none of the principal characters were ever in danger and were never going to die. They did all that just to kill Noir, non-essential, and remove Maeve’s powers, barely essential. No big losses here.
Noir gets killed but Maeve can somehow survive a fight with Homelander and then a point blank shot from Soldier Boy that made every other supe powerless like wtf
@@MrFredstt Homelander was trying to focus on something else for half of that fight so that might be it, I’m right with you on the Maeve part tho lmfaooo
@@nolord2563 It's literally stated Soldier Boy burns the V out of a supes system. So, what, Maeve has super blood that prevents the V being burned out? Every single other person that's ever been hit by it lost their powers and most all of them also died. Kamiko also almost died
All that just to end up right back where we started with a worse Homelander and now there are two of them with Ryan joining his father. Still think Soldier Boy was the right way to go. Just evacuate the building, let him go off, KILL Homelander, then deal with Soldier Boy. It’s not that hard. Fuck Neuman. Homelander is still the main threat and needs to go ASAP. They can deal with Neuman later. This show made me Team Soldier Boy 😂 As long as Homelander is alive, I will always be Team Soldier Boy. The Boys done fucked up. The story hasn’t really moved. We’re in the same place, but worse. Enough of the wheel spinning.
@@MrFredstt It’s debatable whether the shoe was intended for Homelander or Ryan but probably Homelander based on what he shouted. Also, Ryan is a supe - he has enhanced durability and Homelander knows that, so a shoe hitting him is not going to do any kind of harm - like a paper aeroplane. In response, Homelander murdered a man in a childish fit of pique. Homelander does love Ryan, but he’s a shit father as he’s going to raise him into exactly the kind of piece of shit he is.
Jerrys right, A train wasted blue hawk for what he did, 99% for his brother and 1% for the bystanders. He understood All the people he affected the moment the doc said his brother is paralysed, the brother that helped him throughout his career and is, you know, his brother.
Pat is right A-Train literally admitted it was a compromise he said something like :" you get your apology and vought gets good publicity" to his brother
Butcher in the comics put together an amazing plan to get rid of all the Supes all at once at one point. I feel right now since they have a ticking clock of about a year to 18 months this is where his master plan will come in to play
Would be cool to see him follow his comic counterpart but idk. Butcher was written very weird this episode. Before he had no problem in blowing himself up along with a baby if it meant killing Homelander. Now, he has a chance to get rid of his nemesis as well as another potentially powerful supe all in one fell swoop. Then if he wanted they could've gone after Soldier Boy. If really had a plan to wipe out all supes I don't think he would've literally stepped in and saved Homelander
the fact that people actually cheered when that was said too... Just goes to show how this show, besides the superhero aspect, it is not far from reality. Scary times, this show is amazing and hopefully wakes people up to what we need to fix in our world too
The show is showing a-train as someone who’s having a lot of character development because he’s really the first supe you see in the show with no repercussions. Originally he did not care about blue hawk, he progressively started to have his own personal feelings that it means more then being popular. After he apologized hughie and talked to ashley he began to change. I think he killed blue hawk for his brother tbh. He’s becoming less selfish. Him apologizing is him realizing he didn’t care about anyone to begin with. He’s beginning to care about others now.
As for the A-Train part of the discussion, I agree with Rob and Jerry. Neither of them are saying that A-Train always cared about his community or that he even cares about his community now, but it can't be misconstrued that A-Train cared about his brother and that his brother put that battery on his back to go after Blue Hawk, not because his brother cared about branding but because he genuinely wanted A-Train to help his community, subsequently causing A-Train to oblige. Nothing about going after Blue Hawk was about A-Train's brand, and Rob is right when he says there wasn't necessarily a compromise between A-Train and Vought; compromising is like haggling prices: if I offer to a clerk to pay a cheap price for a product and the clerk throws in an extra product for store/company advertisement, it's more of a favor given to me by the clerk than a compromise. You can tell by how awkward A-Train was while walking into the community center, knowing that Blue Hawk is behind him with a Vought camera crew, that the publicity and branding for Vought wasn't his idea.
So if it wasn’t already obvious with all the previous episodes’ Trumpism homages with Homelander, the final scene with Homelander was perhaps one of the most blatant allusions/paralleling Homelander to Trump. As when Homelander lasers the dude in front of the Vought building and his fans chant for him, Vought Tower in the show actually sits on 5th Ave, so that closing scene is almost certainly meant to mirror the (in)famous Donald Trump quote about the same thing: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters” I do wonder if Black Noir is gone for good, or if the show might use the plot point from the comic where sometimes Supes comeback as brain-damaged pseudo-zombies due to the Compound V in their bodies “resurrecting” them (the comic was basically spoofing how often Marvel/DC superheroes are brought back from the dead in comics).
It's not that weak, it's just that situation with homelander could be real in that world because how manipulated the information is. They will and can paint anyone in a good image, they have been doing it for decades. Why wouldn't people try to follow vought
That moment that Homelander had with noir, where he said he sees his face, etc was very moving and the end of noir absolutely sucked on toast! So disrespectful of a character we just now got to know!
Rob is a straw man. He grasps at the weirdest statements and twist them into an argument. Then proceeds to change it multiple times during the conversation.🤦🏾♂️
Do you notice how Ryan starts his episode by throwing a baseball to no one feeling that no one understands him and he has no one in his life even though Mallory there to take care of him he still feels isolated just like homelander felt when he was on that fake farm don’t wanna baseball up into the air to no one to no one
Homelander killed Noir because not only did he hide the fact that he had a father out there but also because by betraying Soldier Boy Noir is part of the reason why he wasn't able to grow up with a father and the family he always wanted. It wasn't for Soldier Boy, also Noir was going to fight SB but HL no longer wanted to so he was no use to him either, he would have only been an obstacle but I genuinely believe HL killed him out of anger and hurt by the betrayal. As for what the guy in the white cap said about HL, Homelander is definitely smart even if he's impulsive, he's outsmarted Stillwell, Stan Edgar, the goverment and his enemies many times throughout the show.
Between the cartoon character that gas up Noir so he could get himself killed and Butcher who can't finish what he started. They really did Noir and Soldier Boy dirty with their affliation.
She lost her powers and survived a 100ft drop without any injuries. Kimicko lost her powers instantly after SB blast and SB exploded maeve in mid-air....
Hella plot armour, Kimiko almost died, the TNT Twins did die as well as other random heros in Herogasm, writers probably wanted some "happy" moment to happen in the finale or smth
@@geraltrivia3575 And because Soldier Boy’s going back to sleep and not joining with Homelander or able to kill him at the moment. Literally everything that Butcher and The Boys did this season was ultimately for nothing. Kimiko almost died for nothing, Frenchie got kidnapped and beat for nothing, Mother’s Milk got nutted on for nothing, and Black Noir died for NOTHING. Also, how tf did Maeve do more damage to Homelander than Butcher and Soldier Boy combined??? How tf she lasted LONGER in the fight by herself when Homelander had Soldier Boy in a chokehold in like a minute LMAO
@@xerdziusia8103 Set up for the next season. SB is captured by Mallory, who has a vested interest in taking down Supes. Perhaps they'll study his new power and develop weapons. If alive then Black Noir is on the out with Homelander and could go back to Stan Edgar (who he used to listen to without question). SB at the time of the first fight with Homelander had just used a ton of his energy so that's an easy explanation. Also Homelander didn't want to kill her as he needed her for her eggs to create more children.
@@RichardStrong86 I’d be willing to run with the idea that HL didn’t want to kill Maeve, but at least for me it falls apart when you think about just how long the fight was allowed to go on for. HL should have just knocked her out, but for some reason he just… doesn’t. I really think Black Noir is dead, and it was just a poor decision on the writer’s part. Reverse engineering supe killing weapons from Soldier Boy’s power does sound interesting. Hopefully they do give an explanation on what exactly was done to SB by the Russians besides “torture and experimentation”. Another issue I have with Soldier Boy is why in the finale it took him so long to charge up his beam, in the other episodes he did it within about 10 seconds or so, but here in the finale he was taking ages to charge it up. And I don’t think there’s any other explanation for it besides plot convenience. And then there’s also him just… staring at Starlight while she’s charging up a blast that ended up doing nothing to him besides knocking him down. I was honestly expecting more than that lol
Soldier Boy giving that speech to Homelander is heartbreaking. No Bad Man wants his son to grow and be just like him, he wants him to be better. In this case there was no fixing that. Soldier Boy is the MVP.
Vought should make a new movie Homelander: Soldier Boy's Revenge They should get Homelander to star as Homelander Jared Padaleki to star as Soldier Boy
He got betrayed twice because of his own doings, he bullied and beat up his old team members including kids and he got betrayed this time because he decided to attack ryan even tho butcher told him to step down. he ruined it all bc his ego couldnt handle a kid beating him
Haha Rob said ATrain was too busy saving world to pay attention to his community, ATrain basically had no powers for a year, and still wasn't doing shit for the community
10:17 here's the messed up part about it....he may have said he couldn't do it without nate, but he's still walking up to the tower and getting involved in the shenanigans. just duck out A-Train from Vought. (I mean, I'm gonna be as hard as nate is on him and more cause he was on a comeback ending of season 2 now he's finished. (loved the actor Jessie though)
Those last 2 minutes set up the next season’s intricacies incredibly. One of the boys def gotta end up with they head popped with shorty as VP. Great finale. I wish one of the supes died, & Butcher folded cause he said all the supes gotta die and that includes Becca+HL son. Looking forward to season 4. Hopefully the story and series ends crazy and brutally in 5 seaons
Ryan’s clothes red white and blue actually match the second Soldier Boy colors from the comics I’m sure he will take up his grandfathers mantle He also in season two would name of the names of states which is something that Soldier Boy two in the comics did a lot
@@Persephone_Personified no I’m saying that in the comics the second soldier boy would shout the name of states and we have seen Ryan name off states like this
maeve being able to make homelander struggle while fighting ALONE doesnt make sense... butcher and soulja boy together were getting wooped and u telling me maeve alone is more powerfull than both of em?
To be fair, Homelander wasn’t trying. He didn’t want to kill her. And wasn’t really giving it his all. Still, they all should have helped Maeve and put Homelander down.
When ATrain came to his brother he was already in that stupid looking suit, even his nephew was clowning him. His brother told him about Blue hawk because everyone knew A Train was not being sincere about wanting to represent the community. Everybody saw through his fakeness except Rob and apparently Jerry
A train killing blue hawk was for his brother though he literally said "you hurt my brother" before slamming him in the ground and dragging him at mac 1 dragging him a mile
I really wish they had any different it has soldier boy team up with homelander and Ryan three generations of supes that butcher has to deal with all that would’ve been crazy crazy
Ryan is like his father Growing up isolated but Ryan at least had his mother a moral compass the only person who loved him then his world got flipped upside down when he found out his father was a famous superhero very strong. Then after the death of his mother he is isolated again with no friends no family to really look after him no real family in anyway and all he had was a link of butcher them and butcher cut that tie by saying what he said to him about Rebecca that line was forever severed. Then home later arrives and says no matter what I will always love you giving him the validation he needs having someone in this world who loves him no matter what in return Ryan will return that love but this makes everything more dangerous because to keep that love Ryan seems like he’ll do anything to make his father proud. This narrative is shown through our homeland is family Soulja Boy being a disappointment to his father then homeland or being a disappointment to Soldier Boy and then in their initial meeting Ryan being a disappointment to Homelander. Ryan smiles because these people are cheering his father in a way they are cheering him
Butcher: Uses TEMPORARY V to save them when they're in Russia Them: F you Butcher how could you do this Kimiko: Got PERMANENT V to save Frenchie Them: You go girl slaughter them all!
It's feminist fullshit. Its cool that Kimiko chose this time to get perma V, she was being independent and exercising bodily autonomy. Hughie is in the wrong cus he's a man who wants to be strong like like super gf.
They changed black noirs actor for his face reveal because the writer said they can easily bring him back as another person so I’m pretty sure black noir is coming back but not the as Erving

Rob & Jerry completely forgot that when ATrains brother told him about Blue Hawk, ATRAINS FIRST REACTION WAS TO GIVE THE VICTIMS FAMILY SOME MONEY.
HE LITERALLY SAID “ I’m Michael Jordan, not Malcolm X.”

Maeve was the MVP this episode, she really held her own against Homelander, easily the second strongest member of The Seven in The Boys.

Agreed, he's slowly breaking out of it with his develpment, but killing Blue Hawk was just his old ways pushing through again
How did Jerry and Rob completely misunderstand A-Train’s characterization for 3 whole seasons…
Black Noir was done dirty this episode, no way would they kill off the most mysterious and oldest active superhero in Vought. I think he’s still alive and he’s gonna come back stronger and better next season.
I think Stan Edgar will try to bring him back stronger as the contingency against homelander almost like the comics
@@dericmccoy8175 that would be Raw

Maybe he'll come back as a clone of someone
Fs, either vought heals him, or he comes back as a clone of homelander like in the comics, other way noir is coming back
A-Train has been shown to have so many opportunities to do the right thing.

He a real one fr 😎
So it was all fake and rebranding until he met his brother, then didnt actually get serious until Blue Hawk attacked because he saw it with his own eyes.
yess that's the scene I thought of too.
Is it just me or is there just something about these fights in the boys. We don't have too many but man they give me goosebumps and it just feels like super humans are fighting. Props to the stunt team and the people who set all that up along with the effects.

The only investment that this show built up for Noir is his confrontation with Soldier Boy, which never happened. It’s just shock value. Death should be about finality of an arc. Closure.
A-TRAIN cared enough to run knowing consequences, definitely did for his brother.
So if it wasn’t already obvious with all the previous episodes’ Trumpism homages with Homelander, the final scene with Homelander was perhaps one of the most blatant allusions/paralleling Homelander to Trump.
As when Homelander lasers the dude in front of the Vought building and his fans chant for him, Vought Tower in the show actually sits on 5th Ave, so that closing scene is almost certainly meant to mirror the (in)famous Donald Trump quote about the same thing: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters”
I do wonder if Black Noir is gone for good, or if the show might use the plot point from the comic where sometimes Supes comeback as brain-damaged pseudo-zombies due to the Compound V in their bodies “resurrecting” them (the comic was basically spoofing how often Marvel/DC superheroes are brought back from the dead in comics).
Thats like the most obvious on the nose thing ever, its lame amd weak writing
It's not that weak, it's just that situation with homelander could be real in that world because how manipulated the information is. They will and can paint anyone in a good image, they have been doing it for decades. Why wouldn't people try to follow vought
A-Train is an opportunist.
Damn i Was Hoping To See A Convo Between Noir & Kimiko Hopefully (Maybe) Next Season
Two Mute Supes having a convo would be nice especially with similar their powers are they both can heal and are very skilled fighters.
@@saiyanobe23g6 bro deadass like
Noir. "..............."
Kimiko : " ☝️👆☝️☝️👉👈👆👈"
Noir is dead...
Ryan finna become a whole new brightburn
That moment that Homelander had with noir, where he said he sees his face, etc was very moving and the end of noir absolutely sucked on toast! So disrespectful of a character we just now got to know!
Weird that both sides of the A Train argument were right and wrong at the same time 💀
Rob is a straw man. He grasps at the weirdest statements and twist them into an argument. Then proceeds to change it multiple times during the conversation.🤦🏾♂️
be quiet clown
Do you notice how Ryan starts his episode by throwing a baseball to no one feeling that no one understands him and he has no one in his life even though Mallory there to take care of him he still feels isolated just like homelander felt when he was on that fake farm don’t wanna baseball up into the air to no one to no one
I thought it was an allusion to Homelander throwing the baseball in season 1
@@mrmccrunchymcdonald2966 yeah that’s what I meant to say
one thing about soldier boy he's a man of his word. like he fr didnt wanna kill homelander but he said he would, so he was gonna
He shouldn't have gone after Ryan, wasnt part of the deal
Ryan's smile,,, I know a mini Joffrey Baratheon when I see one
Between the cartoon character that gas up Noir so he could get himself killed and Butcher who can't finish what he started. They really did Noir and Soldier Boy dirty with their affliation.
Im still trying to figure out how the fuck Maeve even survived that. 😭
I wish they made Butcher true to the comics. His character is way more violent and dark in the comics.
Shut up
Ryan boutta become bright burn v2
Homelander can now be himself in front of his fans. He no longer has to hide his darker side.
Is it just me or is wellz starting to zone out during any arguments that happens during the discussions a lot lately😂
Soldier Boy giving that speech to Homelander is heartbreaking. No Bad Man wants his son to grow and be just like him, he wants him to be better. In this case there was no fixing that. Soldier Boy is the MVP.
He's no MVP, he ruined the plan by going after Ryan because his ego was too hurt he got clapped by a 10 year old
I lost so many brain cells from that discussion. Idk why I even watched the whole thing
Vought should make a new movie
Homelander: Soldier Boy's Revenge
They should get Homelander to star as Homelander
Jared Padaleki to star as Soldier Boy
I really wished they didn’t do Solider Boy like that. The guy has been betrayed twice. I can’t help but feel sorry for him.
RIP my boy black noir ;(
I’m dead. Those cartoons gaslighted noir lol
A TRAIN ONLY DID THE REBRAND BECAUSE HE HAD NOTHING ELSE TO OFFER HE PULLED RACE CARD MY GUY
'race card " isnt a thing blk ppl are just genuinely better than everyone else.
I exist as a human being
Maeve: You like you wear a neon sign that says "Raw dog me I'm a bottom"
Me: Well my love... hop on
Those last 2 minutes set up the next season’s intricacies incredibly.
You mean Homelander 2..?
@@Persephone_Personified no I’m saying that in the comics the second soldier boy would shout the name of states and we have seen Ryan name off states like this
maeve being able to make homelander struggle while fighting ALONE doesnt make sense... butcher and soulja boy together were getting wooped and u telling me maeve alone is more powerfull than both of em?
Not powerful, just better combat skills.
If she could fuck him up like that the 6 probably could've beat him.
@@kgtstudios4850 yeah.. she's been training on beating him this whole season
Homelander care for her dumb ass he's going easy on her he low-key still love her
To be fair, Homelander wasn’t trying. He didn’t want to kill her. And wasn’t really giving it his all.
Still, they all should have helped Maeve and put Homelander down.
it was part of the branding, A-Train did that Kendall Jenner Pepsi commercial
Yeah but soldier boy is a loser who chose to go against his own family for some humans, served him right
Ryan is like his father Growing up isolated but Ryan at least had his mother a moral compass the only person who loved him then his world got flipped upside down when he found out his father was a famous superhero very strong. Ryan smiles because these people are cheering his father in a way they are cheering him
Even living with his mother he was still constantly lied to, isolated, and essentially living in a prison just like Homelander
@@MrFredstt true but he at least received some type of love
@@Kidapollo92 True it's at least something. Homelander didn't even have that saving grace
Butcher, you had one job. Now, look at Ryan.
Butcher: Uses TEMPORARY V to save them when they're in Russia
Them: F you Butcher how could you do this
Kimiko: Got PERMANENT V to save Frenchie
Them: You go girl slaughter them all!
It's feminist fullshit. Its cool that Kimiko chose this time to get perma V, she was being independent and exercising bodily autonomy. Hughie is in the wrong cus he's a man who wants to be strong like like super gf.
Doea Robcity and DC even like each other? I swear they fought and argue the most amongst the 5 of yall
Glad to see y’all progressing 💯 seen y’all on no jumper also GOOD SHIT 👏🏾👏🏾
They changed black noirs actor for his face reveal because the writer said they can easily bring him back as another person so I’m pretty sure black noir is coming back but not the as Erving
Interesting 🤔
what's crazy is Black Noir is actually the strongest in the 7 and actually killed Homelander in the comics. I hope somehow his death is a deep fake and he comes back in season 4 :(
Ryan is gonna go full Brightburn next season.
Doubtful. He's more nuanced. He saved Butcher by asking Homelander to take him out of there for one. He still cares, but he's just angry at the moment.
Homelander and Black Noir best duo of the show! Also crazy how Maeve could have killed Homelander right there if she just pushed that metal stick thing upwards.
She only had the opportunity to do that because he was actively trying to not kill her.
Lol she couldn't have, they've tested every weapon on him and you think she could be the one to unalive him with a metal stick, she got lucky he wasn't actively trying to kill her
Starlight really went super saiyan lol
