Everyone has been asking me to do a morning routine video, instead I took a different approach and wanted you to come along with me to work! :) Yes I fly a lot, most of the time to NY. I'll do a regular morning routine video soon! I just wanted to show you guys that I'm still here, the same girl who edits her tutorials for her subscribers, only now I do it on a plane or gosh knows somewhere else haha :)

I think it's a combo of her... just being herself as a person and her voice! So sincere,kind and just overall an amazing voice!! She has a true gift of connecting with us as her subbies and I think that we are so rooting for her that we start to invest our feelings into her and so when she is describing/ telling us about her thoughts, feelings and emotions, we somehow vicariously feel them thru her!! I love watching this and seeing how far this company has come and how much more customizable it's become, the stuff I used to receive vs what I get in my bags now is so different, I used to want makeup so much and now I care more about receiving skincare cuz I usually have a lot of what I want in the way of makeup already
also guys my dad flies a lot for work, like a couple times a week, and he got so many discounts and flight deals / free flights if you use the same airline, so she might also be getting that :)

Absolutely. I use to think having nice things meant success...but it's not true. Having a wonderful loving family, real friends, that's success. That is something money can never buy, and it's something I always had, but I just never realized until now :) Cherish the people who love you, and you'll feel like the richest person in the world :)

Oct 2018 everyone :) you know this video is so inspirational to me when i first watched this back in 2012. This became my tools for life goals. While i was deciding to quit my job, i watched this so many times to keep myself okay. I missed Michelle now. If she knew the impact she had for so many dreamers :( sometimes i felt she became selfish when she left her viewers just to mind her sanity. I mean, we are all in this together. Its all in the past now and i wish to the stars she will be back as normal as if nothing happens. We missed you Michelle! ❤️

Michelle was the first you tuber I randomly discovered. I just loved her videos. I love the way she does her make-up and the different looks sge created.I loved everything about her, her voice, her cute looks. She did her make-up on a plane amazed me...... I didn't find out her success story until now. I watched her videos about 2 years ago if I remembered correctly. I watched almost all of her videos. Just recently remembered that I haven't watched her videos for quite a while... so inspiring and so happy for her...

so I just signed up for ipsy and I was really excited im on the "waiting list" but now im coming across a lot of bad reviews especially with customer service, the products being repeated and they don't follow your preferences and it's a nightmare trying to cancel. just a lot of negative things so now I'm worried ! how long do you stay on the waiting list?

She is such a down to earth, beautiful, unique, sweet, creative, independent person! How? How could ANYONE hate Michelle?! If you do you're probably just some hater who sees the amazing feats she's been able to accomplish and are insecure about your journey in your own life. Look internally if you have something against this girl. Because she's just what this world needs; a vibrant and wonderful human being who learns from her mistakes like everyone else should.
This video was so inspiring, do have a video up on how you started the business. What I love about RUclips is that it a class room for the world. I have similar dreams and aspiration but I don't know where to begin. I have lots of great Ideas, but I don't know how to make them happen. I know I have to BELIEVE, and I do. But what's the next step?
Thank you for sharing your video. Actually, the commute is about 15 dollars one way, and there are discounts for purchasing multiple rides at the same time. It can get a bit pricey, but not too bad.

A plane to work is bananas! lol, but i assume you rather not drive 4 hours back and forth and you get frequent flier miles. Outside of that, I love your company but..you need to add a bit more diversity on your staff, Black and Latina girls have beauty needs too. ;)

This month will mark my first ipsy bag and I am looking forward to it. :) Big ups to the ladies on the Brand Partnerships team. That is NOT an easy job AT ALL. It is the department that can get the most complaints, and it is department that is pushed the hardest because they have to ensure brand diversity while negotiating with companies to provide something of real value. Oh, and they also have to remain cutting edge. So, thank you for the hard work you do. It definitely can't be easy doing it with a start up, but I bet things are going much smoother now. :)

You are so inspirational and you are the only beauty guru that isn't just a beauty guru to me, I don't want to sound weird but I feel like you understand me even know you don't know me you have always been there for me and i doubt that you will even remotely get close to seeing this and you get these comments everyday but i am so grateful for you and every time you upload you make my life that much better and you have inspired me to try out in plays and musicals, to start my RUclips channel which by the way i do plan on making videos in the future i just don't have a good quality camera and I could never be doing what i do and if you didn't make RUclips videos i don't know what i would do and hopefully that means something to you. I know this comment is a year old, but as a happy Ipsy girl -- i just wanted to let anyone considering joining us to know that this is not a thing (although I'm sorry for Linda's probs) - if you go into ipsy.com and you're logged in, account info and canceling is all very easily accessible. I'm just a bit of an evangelist you could say - i love my ipsy - i don't work for them.

If she had a business/tech background, she would make a majority of the 85 million the company is worth. But, it looks like a big team of people have cultivated and created this brand for her, and they're just using her name/image. It's no different than the Birchbox business model; samples are free. Anyone can email/call a brand and get them! Why pay $10.00!?
Britney Waldron makeup lipstick is free too. Just gather all the ingredients from different parts of the world, and make it yourself. Point is, no one has the time to phone companies and pay for shipping of each sample, and frankly no one has the patience. The glam bag is something you don't have to call millions of people for, its just comes to you for $10 with samples worth sometimes $8. Im really proud of Michelle. Using her name or not. And in my personal opinion, I'm not gonna call several companies just to attain samples. Why try to bring down a girl who started something. Its best to just support and lift people. Its not like she's taking $80 per bag from you. Its reasonable. And its business at the end of the day, she won't give you the bag for free or $5. I think it was her greatest business move.

She has a makeup line with L'Oreal that isn't doing so well. Focus on that, re-package, promote and market your current products. Ipsy's business model is identical to the Birchbox business model and you can get all of the same products from both companies in #Sephora and get a free samples.

I don't know much about birchbox but I know Michelle so I feel more incline to buy her samples as opposed to theres. As far as her makeup line I think it's too expensive and I'd rather buy from sephora then her cosmetics with is probabley l'oreal packaged as em iono. But 59 dollars for a palette is not working for my pocket book.lol

ive been registered on ipsy for 11 months and ive loved it, most of it are samples, but i love them because i get to try it, if i like it, i check somewhere else to buy it as a full product and if i dont, it doesnt hurt a lot if i discard it or i give it to my mom to see if she likes it

You should totally do a beauty tips and must haves for long plane flights. I remember the time I went over seas and got off looking like a wreck. I wish I knew some good methods to make myself look nice, especially if I'm meeting someone off the plane.
