I am so thankful to be able to listen to the sermons of Martyn Lloyd-Jones. I'm a 74 year old grandmother and I'm fairly certain I don't fit the mold of those reading his books and listening to MLJtrust. The first time I heard of MlJones waa of a book I thought was for ministers. I don't believe women are to be Pastors so I didn't read it. A number of years later I read several of his books, and later discovered his sermons were available to hear on line. That was pure joy! A best and fitting description of his preaching is truly Logic on fire. I'm near to buying his commentary on Romans. If I don't read the whole set in my lifetime, I know my Son in law will definitely enjoy them. My regret is I did not know of MlJones 30 years ago. There are so many great Christian books by reformed Christians, but I think there are none of the 20 th century that compare to MLJones
Lloyd Jones was really a physician of souls as was discussed here. He took the best skills of a medical doctor and applied them in his preaching to the human condition. Easily the best and most preeminent preacher of the 20th century and every bit the equal to the great Charles Spurgeon.
I often listen to MLJ sermons on the Trust and really enjoyed this conversation you had with Greg Jones. I spent 17 years in traditional and digital advertising and begged God to find me a more humble and Godly professional pursuit. God blessed me through COVID and I now have a thriving upstart local business but it's nice to hear that God also blesses those who can be valuable in godless verticals.
12:25 So, does falling asleep while listening to a recording help imbed it into the mind? I'm looking for ways to help my memory, especially of Christian content/biblical truth.

I just discovered Dr. Lloyd Jones today. I'm 57 and this man is so influential and compelling with staunch simplicity of The Word is The Word Period.
