@@yrsued I was looking for a TRP when I found mine. It was $500 less expensive than the TRP, it had three 15 round factory mags and a certificate of authenticity, so I consider that a big win. I hope you can find one soon.
Now you have my complete attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometime after 1985 my agency switched to semi-autos and the Sig was one of the options along with S&W and Beretta. I chose the Sig and carried it until my retirement in 2001! I have great interest in my Sig p226 and will always keep it as it brought me home one night. Mine is a W. German model in 9mm and I still have the box and the original mags plus the old Sig 20 rnd mag that I used at work when things were getting exciting. I have sent it back to Sig a couple of times when they had their check-up program. I also kept my duty holsters and still use my old concealment holsters every now and then. Please continue content about the p226 and some range time would be great!!!!! PS: It is not widely known that when the SEALS heard that Deputy Sheriffs were carrying the p226, they wanted to be more like us and they adopted them and their reputation grew from that point on.😂
The European and very 1st P220's imported to US had the machined in front sight. I have handled a few of those. I have a West German made sheet metal slide P220 I purchased new in about 1990 that came with the factory test target in a paper box with 7 rd mags. Carried it as a duty gun for several years and it shoots crazily good still.
You are correct. There us so much info on the classic series if Sig's, it would take some serious research to get it all. Most don't know it but the 1st Sig P220's imported into the US was as the Browning BDA. They are few and far between.
Instant thumbs up! I always laughed that I have 3 little Sigs (relating to 3 little pigs)... but 5 little Sigs.... Have been kicking around about getting one for years.... Thank you sir for the video.
I love my Sig P226 Mk25.
I wish I had a MK25....
@@yrsued It was only the second time I'd ever seen in a gun store, so I had to snatch it up.
@@williammatthews2948 You made a GREAT purchase!! One of these days I will find one!!

Many years of dark nights in the middle of nowhere and you feel the comfort of the Sig!
