Sentimental Military Homecoming | Liz and Arturo | Camp Pendleton | San Diego

Liz reached out to me wanting to do something special for her husband’s deployment homecoming. He served 5 months overseas in Kuwait with the Marines. For his first deployment homecoming she had professional photos done and this time she wanted to do something different. I went to High School with Liz and when she reached out to me I was so enthralled to work with someone I knew and could reconnect with.
We shot some lifestyle stuff and the interview the night before he was shipping in which made it all the more exciting. It was so much fun reconnecting with her and meeting her awesome and energetic puppy Chompers.
The next night we met up by Pendleton and waited for him to arrive to get the perfect first look shot. I can’t describe to you the feeling in the air when they hugged and embraced each other for the first time again. I’m sure you can feel it when you watch it too!
So happy for this beautiful power couple & thank you for your devotion and service Arturo.
