I am so thankful for this video!!! I am older with thinning long hair and you give me hope I can do this myself. I pray your wedding day happens and it is amazing!!! Thanks much
Awww your comment just made my day! You are the absolutely sweetest, I totally needed to hear this♥️ If you add some mousse and hair spray to thicken the root area, it will help to add volume in that spot. Please let me know how the look turns out if you try it!!
Thank you for these videos. They helped me add colored pieces into my hair 💕 im currently trying to grow out dark hair to my natural dark blonde, so I keep cutting. Once its there I'm buying this
Hi Denise! You are so welcome, thank you for your positivity and support! 💜😘 I am so glad this video helped you with adding some color to your hair. Best of luck growing your hair, I am sure it will be gorgeous and well worth the wait! Xoxo
Thank you so much this video is super helpful I bought everything myself and I have the same situation I just need to fill the sides and it’s super expensive at the hair salon. 👍
I really like the video. My own hair is nearly this length and I’d like to try to put my own I. For a little thickness. 1 question please, I need to was my hair every other day, so what is the best way to wash my hair and with what products? Please advise.
Hello Rebecca! Every other day is no problem! I always advise my extension clients to apply shampoo at the root and let it sit, only lightly massaging the scalp! No scrubbing ☺️☺️☺️ For conditioner, apply mostly on the ends and avoid the roots! A great suggestion is dry shampoo in between to save you a little more time!
Do u have a salon and if so where are u located!? U are GORGEOUS and your hair looks amazing... you know what your doing!!!! I'd love for u to do my hair I've never had link's but am doing my homework.
Hello Athena! Your kind words have absolutely made my day! Thank you so much! 🥰♥️😭 so, I actually am no longer working in a salon and only do hair on the side now very rarely! I still love it, but I work full time in another role so it is so hard to do both! 😭 Have you ever had any kind of extensions before?
@@thegirlnextdoord Oh my goodness lady u deserve an abundance of compliments 😘 Also yes I had breaded wefts about 10 yrs ago and I'm currently wearing tape ins with a crown topper. I have to hide like all my natural because all tape ins I've ever gotten are so yellow or more golden than my albino color. Lol I'm looking for other options but for now there ok.
Hi Alejandra!!💕 Yes you can! I usually go up higher than I did in this video, my rule of thumb is to keep them about two inches below the part so that they don’t peek through!
@@thegirlnextdoord just want to tell you i tried this today! I made my own tips just to givr it a try and it totally filled in some gaps at the front where i have breakage and looks so natural and so comfortable! I can flip my hair and everything. Loved it!
I love it youre so great with extensions! Can u please teach us the placement for the extensions? Im scared i might not balance it enough from back to the sides of the face :(
Thank you so much Sofia! ♥️😘 Yes I would love to, I am working on another video which I will show every more detail! Thanks so much for the kind words! xoxoxo
Hi Beautiful!! I love your videos thank you so much. Could you please tell us the brand of the beads that you use please, i am afraid to buy something not as efficient.
Hello Sulema! Thank you so much love, you are so sweet! 💗😘of course, the beads I use are from Donna Bella Hair! They are the silicone beads (meaning there is a thin layer of silicone on the inside of the metal which prevents sliding). They are fantastic and I swear by them!
The person who put in my extensions I think used too few hairs and they slid down fairly early, can I push them up myself or does a pro need to do that?
How hard is this process to accomplish on your own hair if say you wanted to use these in the back of your own head ? (near the bottom) Do you recommend I find someone to put them in for me that's specialized in this?
Hi Tayylor! My best suggestion is to ask any hairdresser friends if they would be willing to install the I Link/micro bead extensions for you! Unfortunately it’s so hard to see the back of your own head (a human flaw when it comes to doing our own hair🤣). If you know any licensed hairdressers, ask them how much they’d charge for installation! You can purchase the hair and beads on your own. Makes life so much easier to have someone install for you, anyone with a license to do hair should have no issues. 😊
Awww, a lot of people also say the same! And the great thing is it only takes a few pieces to make such a difference! And a fraction of the price as it is a much smaller job 😊🤍
Hello Dalia! When the crown is the thinner area, usually a different type of extensions are recommended. Those would be the Keratin Bond extensions which have a more natural look and bond onto the hair, so you aren’t able to see a bead popping through. The bond is melted onto the hair and forms with your natural hair. You can also tease the top crown area to make it appear more thicker. Unfortunately I would not recommend these extensions to correct a thinner crown. 😥
Danielle Lisa exactly sweetheart, I actually combine your method in the half of my head and for the crown thin area added some mini tape in but I will apply some keratin beads instead as you suggest. Xoxo from Egypt 🇪🇬
Hello Ri! Thinking about sew ins brings me back to my cosmetology school days! I know very well the pains of sew ins (literally!🤣) From doing them on myself and doing them on my clients. I stopped doing the sew ins a long time ago because of how uncomfortable they were for the client. The extensions I used in this video are light years different than the sew ins, and SO much more comfortable on the scalp. This process generally takes 4 hours for a full head (with prep, installation, and cutting extensions). ♥️
Awww! Thank you so much Kayla, I am so glad to have helped! Yes they are my go to, all time favorite because they are not at all damaging to the hair! 😘♥️
Thank you!💗 you are so nice.. i recently pay to put my hair extensions i put 300 grams 3 packages and my top front doesn't look fully that i whant im thinking to buy another package to be fully...but im learned how to put it on my own and take it care of my hair extensions. I hope you get marryed.✨💘
Hello love! You are so sweet, thanks so much!! ♥️💕 Yes I find that 4 packs really gives it a fuller look without being too heavy/too many extensions. One more pack might just do the trick for you! 🙂 That’s amazing, great that you learned how to install them on your own, bravo!!!👏🏼👏🏼💕
Hello Jade! I believe I have used those extensions before, you will have to use the plyer tool to secure the bead onto the hair. Very similar to this process, only real difference is the loop tool is built into your extension!
I have some questions for u. By the way you are so pretty and that is a beautiful shirt. Do you have a video on how to take them off and reuse? Also, do you have a video or blog showing the supplies and tools needed? And lastly, when you shower your extentions, do they dry to straight or wavy? Thanks!
Hello love! Thank you so much, you are so sweet! 💖 Unfortunately I don’t haves detailed video on taking them out and reusing them, but I will say they usually can be reused for up to 2 years! All of the products are from Donna Bella Hair, the links can be found below in the description! As for showering, the ones I used here dry straight but you can purchase Any hair type and they’ll stay that way! You can purchase wavy or curly and no matter how much you wash them they will stay that way. Thanks for sending in such great questions! 💖😘
Hello Jeannie! Yes they are so easy to remove which is why I love this extension method! The tool that I used to secure the bead (looks like a plyer) is the same tool you use to remove. All you do is I flatten the bead and it slides right off!😘
Hi Denise! Yes that is correct! I only used two tools, the loop tool to apply the bead in the hair, and the tool that looks like a plyer to flatten the bead! ☺️ I do have one more tool but I rarely use it because the 2 above tools are the very best. Hope this helps love! Xo ❤️
Hello Kayleigh! 💜 I’m so sorry, I am going to film another video with an extreme closeup! The silicone bead is pretty small, but the extension tip is made to fit into it, while allowing room for the natural hair to be in the silicone bead as well. If you have an issue fitting the extension tip in, take a little bit of the natural hair out so there’s more room ☺️

how many pieces do you use each time ?

One major mistake you are doing. Is not putting the tip in back of hair. The tip should be underneath not on top
The extension should be brought under you're natural hair...you're own hair should be on top
