Been riding dirt bikes since around 10 years old and been riding on the street on and off for 20 years. Lost 3 mates on bikes and know of a few more deaths. I’m a bike mechanic so I’ve heard of many losses and fixed bikes from many accidents. People rely on their skills far too often, I’ve seen snapped chains and then wrap around the sprocket locking the back wheel, tyre blowouts, snapped foot peg leading to a bad crash and electrical failure causing accidents. Always plan for your bikes to fail you and especially when you are committing 100 percent. You are only as good as the weakest link and that can be road damage, debris on roads, other cars and bikes getting in each others way, your own bike and last a glitch in your own skill. I’m off the bikes now and all sold up, I miss it but I want to live. We’ve all had our near misses and close calls so it’s only time and like most of us, it’s just to hard to ride to the rules on powerful machines

I'm a Nurse and have taken care of a few paraplegics, one who came off a bike and it isn't pretty. Ride safe, ride well, don't take crazy chances. Don't worry about putting on a show, life as you know it can be over in seconds. I don't have a bike right now, sold mine last year. After seeing what I have it's hard to want to get on one again.

Should do a video of the dedicated spinal hospital units in each capital city of Australia and get some stories of the now ex riders and what life looks like now knowing nothing on their bodies moves from the neck or waist down just to get a bit of a reality check .

I respect all motorcycle riders, my partners son aged 20 was killed by overtaking a slow car, then the car suddenly turn right infront of him, the driver of the car said to police he didnt hear or see the motorbike, Beau was only 2 kms from home, he was always a safe rider, yet police state he was on the wrong side of the road . A twoway road in country queensland , where we are taught in Australia to overtake on the right. If a car had it indercator on , and was turning, for sure we undertake on the leftside. When they say you dont crash bro to you Clay @ 14:45 it might seem like a laughing matter at the time. But seriously people in Cars etc need to take more care around them even when turning into side streets. not just for motorcycle riders but pedestrians as well. 24:00 if you're short and sitting on a bike like thst, don't twist the handle bars before you're fully comfortable and in full control as it will just slide under you and will just have a bike fall on your leg as I've "seen" some short brainiac do... hahaha his wife was recording him and caught that scene to clown him for ages... haha 😂 so if you plan to start out, that's one thing to avoid.
