Vanga's first film was Arjun Reddy that was a "South Indian" movie, made on a merry 4 cr budget, the south audience made it a super hit movie, and the movie deserved to be one because it has a vibe completely different from other main stream Indian movie, it has that raw essence of youth and a good sense of realism as well. It's your south audience who liked it not the "backward" north audience. তবে একটা জিনিস সাউথ ইন্ডিয়ান দর্শক যেটা পর্দায় দেখে সেটা নকল করার প্রবণতা কম। North -এর লোকে মনে করে সিনেমায় কী দেখাচ্ছে directly সেটা সমাজে প্রভাব ছড়াচ্ছে। বড়ো বড়ো youtuber (e.g. Mohak) 3 idiots -এর সমালোচনা করেছে এই বলে যে ছবিতে serious জিনিসগুলো comedy -র মাধ্যমে কেন দেখেনো হয়েছে? এইটা নাকি সবাইকে সেই বিষয়ের গম্ভীর্য বোঝাবে না, উল্টে খুবই superficial, হালকা জিনিস মনে করাবে। কিন্তু এটা বুঝলো না comedy -র মাধ্যমে যতটা গম্ভীর বিষয়গুলো তুলে ধরা যায় সেটা অন্য কিছু দিয়ে হয়না। এখানেই তো North -এর audience -এর sensibility বোঝা যাচ্ছে।
