On your recommendation I bought some EB 4/0 for my main run. It’s significantly better on the jacket toughness. Funny part is that people will argue that car audio cable is tougher… they have never been an industrial environment and seen how rig welders treat their leads.
I've only used welding cable once and it was 2/0 size the stuff will hold some very high current for sure it's not flexible at all but it was never designed to be really flexible like u said Nolan it's meant to be dragged around ur shop thru oil and gas and concrete and the insulation on the wire be able to withstand that. Some people are willing to pay whatever price to have a certain color Wich I understand if I had big money and was building a show car i would go the fancy route myself.
@@deasnutz9965 oh ok gotcha yeah I'm not hip to that brand of welding cable but yeah if u got a piece of the cable that would be pretty cool to see what it's like compared to others.
That stuff is just as good as ofc stuff they sell in store as far as the copper goes every store I've ever asked says it's shit but they just don't want you to know you don't have to pay 10 or 12 dollars a foot
Yeah , they are full of shit. Most stereo shops don't sell welding cable they wanna make folks think they have car stereo large ofc trying to make folks think its some exotic out of this world technology..😂😂

Hell yeah !! Glad you like it. Yes, you are right. They don't understand what I'm saying because they haven't been in a welding shop.
I’ve been using welding cable for years now. Right now I’m using Temco 2/0 and 4/0
Never used that kind. I use the eb flex because it's extremely flexible. Not like usual welding line.
@@deasnutz9965 I use temco 4/0 & 2/0 too, its pretty flexible for 4/0 cable

The EB flex is not like most welding cable. It's extremely flexible. I will do a demonstration. It's why I recommend that brand ...
