While growing up in Oklahoma I made frends with a guitarist knew where in okla,city, okla,vince gill had music sessions it brings tears too my eyes knowing that Grant& gill r still together how special becuz I've went too his Oklahoma city, concerts back in 1990
Believe it or not amy broke a lot of man made stigmas in religious circles back then. I remember my dad and pastor discussing woman in Christian music and styles in Christian music. And I remember questioning their reasoning back then. God is able to do all things beyond our imaginings. Man tends to place him in a box and God will do whatever it takes to break open that box and prove what he is capable of.
I agree ....... What Amy and Michael W Smith were doing back then in CCM was phenomenal..... Similar to what The Winans( 4 brothers group) and Commissioned was doing on the Gospel music side.... Exactly... Alot is man made stigmas
