- so many people were askin for it, so here it is!
I focused more on the guitar tabs, but don't worry fellow bass players. In this song, just listen along and follow the root notes of the guitar. There are still some bass tabs that I threw into this mess of a tutorial. Feel free to ask anything in the comments ahaha

Sorry about that! I'm not really used to making tabs, clearly
However, everything I played for bass is simply following the root notes of the guitar's chords. In this case, follow the lowest string of the chords of the guitar. Hope that helps a little
@@GeneralFlamingo no, that’s okay! no need to apologize. i’m just wondering because i really like to have written tabs in one area. i’m not sure what to play when you’re not playing chords (e.g. with the solo, or when you play on strings that aren’t on a bass). that’s why i’m asking for tabs that i can print out and follow xd

I dont have that guitar yet but when I buy the fender jaguar cobain signature this is the first song imma play with it. The first part of the song have chords that are so damn heavy, with mad saturation and distortion I bet Ill crumble the walls

Amp setting?
My tone has evolved quite a lot, and I don't use this one anymore.
I have the treble at 7-8, mids at 5-6, and bass at 3-5. Go for your own preferences ofc. Gain is at 5-7
I also use an overdrive pedal (within my software) to boost the mids a little bit, as well as the gain.

Edit: And string size please idk what you did to your guitar but it sounds SICK
String size doesn't affect the tone as much, but they're Super Light 0.9's. The amplifier I use is a Fender Mustang I V.2
Although it has plenty of amazing preset effects, I used my own custom effect and knob settings.
Side note, if you want a sound like mine, I suggest the newer version of this amplifier! It was way more features and stuff. The Fender Mustang GT Series.

May i please know your guitar and amp settings?
I used an Epiphone Les Paul Special model back then. My amp is a multi-fx/amp modeler, and i honestly dont remember my amp settings since i’ve evolved it a lot since then
my general rule of thumb, as a metal guy, is high gain, scooped mids, higher bass and treble.
Nowadays, my guitar is a Hamer XT Series Explorer model, and I use amp settings that are similar to either Weezer or Metallica

It’s an Epiphone Special Model, you can find them for much cheaper compared to other guitar models, but they still sound and feel great!
Nowadays I’m rocking a Hamer XT Series but i’ve yet to make a video with it

@@DaniDRXM There are plenty! Id even suggest buying used, but only if you know what to look for. Go for smaller brands, or lower end models. Fender squier, Epiphone SG’s, Yamaha, Kramer, or whatever you can find. Down the line you can upgrade things like your pickups to really get a better sound
