Stangsandrcs4life yes I enjoy catching it when I can and when the racers aren’t trying to be so secretive. Let’s me be more creative and yes John is very helpful and detailed. You’ll love his channel and learn a lot
Yea everyone go check out his channel Turbo John he even tells his E.T. from time to time and the guy Randy that was putting in the alcohol his car is bad 2 the bone too he has a black foxbody with a SBF with a big Procharger on it
@@Jmalcom2004 Sounds like one cool cat I'd enjoy meeting. I'll go check out his channel now. Thanks again for the video man really appreciate what you do for us that can't make it to all the events.
Wow guys! I really appreciate the kind comments, we had a blast out at 710 dragway and it was very nice to finally meet Justin! He does killer vids! Love it!
Nice to see the Sbc 👍🏻 I am doing a small block 400 But not destroked 350 rod What block casting number ? I’m nervous lol block hard filled? I would ask why destroke when nothing like displacement however your car is hauling ass!!! Nice!
Yeah he has a ton of shared info on his channel, don't get me wrong I still like watching Billy The Kid's S10 (he makes killer vids) but I get more out of shared info like Turbo John, Lil Victory Fab Co, Sloppy Mechanics, etc
I've been subbed to Turbo John channel for a while now and that car is a animal. I like it cause it's done with hand me down parts and works better then half these very high budget cars
100%!! John is a GREAT dude! i absolutely LOVE the budget friendly setup! there are a TON of SUUUPER nice, beautiful race cars out there, BUTTTTT those guys have more in their cylinder heads and SmartCar (push car/pit vehicle) than John has in his ENTIRE setup -> trailer included lol! and he still out runs MFs every day! LOVE IT
@@smalltownplaya712 it's a used Bryant crank. There's all kind of options to pick from. Most just stick to the common stuff like 383, 427, 434, etc. Shit sbc goes all the way to 600ci now. Of course it's a custom billet piece though lol.
@@kne2323 the bigger bore helps make the head more efficient. It's the greater distance between the edge of the bore and valve that makes it more efficient. Obviously the more efficient something is the more power you can make. Lot of factors come into play. Head type, valve size, etc though. Also the shorter the stroke the less time the piston will stay at the top and bottom of the cylinder. It will always mover quicker because of the shorter distance it's traveling which is also a plus. Application, budget, parts being used, etc dictates what's the best path.
Turbo John is a awewsome guy with fast car. Also has a hell of a RUclips channel. Like that he shares most of his builds on his channel. Keep up the great work J Malcolm. Best videos on the net.
Thanks jmalcom, John's a great guy and works hard The little Stang is a mover and a shaker y'all keep an eye out for him and his car. John RUclips channel is going great too. Thanks for the coverage 👍✌

The Squirrel Chronicles aka Rescue's I love being more creative as well but at the end of the day it’s all about the racers you deal with. Can’t make them talk. I wish more would myself
This is the best especially this car I like the more for less stuff, I learned a lot listening to turbo Jhon talk about methanol etc, thanks for sharing this.
Would love to see him with a car, setup, that had the adequate funding so he could have nice parts. If he had a nice racing engine/car built with the best parts, there is no telling how fast he could be! It's almost a curse for him to be so good at fixing everything that tears up because he just will go back and try to fix it. If he would invest some serious money in his car, I think he could have one of the fastest cars in his class every weekend. Still love watching his videos but can't help but see tons of untapped potential with him.
Yeah but have you noticed how happy he is? If he's like me it's MORE enjoyable to win once in a while with your much cheaper car than have the stress of needing to win because you wrapped up too much money in your car... Just my 2 cents...
Seems to me that exact setup without the turbo would still be really fast, unless he is just used to running super fast. I need to step my game up. Lol
J it don’t get better then you ,when it comes to real racing I am a big rim racing fanatic ,but I love cars and racing period and you cover it all, blessings bro from California 💯
Totally Cool, This is the first time I have ever heard some one besides myself that is running"Profiler” cylinder heads besides myself! I love them!!! Nice job gentleman!
Love this type of content. Dude seems down to earth and really explains his whole setup.
